Hey bro, you should be a role model to more people than you are. You seem very down to earth and I'm sure you've been through life struggles like everyone. You're mentality, realness and inspiration is awesome.
This video is so much more helpful than any other videos I've watched. Thank you so much! Can't wait to get to the next ones.
10:00 No I didn’t see that. The camera was too close, then you gave a frame of your legs, then the punch. Do a couple of punches showing your upper body, then some with your legs. Switching frames quickly doesn’t help much.
In going to add this to my workouts as a finisher it will really help my core and it seems more fun than machines
Good good stuff Mike!! Keeping it coming man!!
Love your videos man. Very informative, learned a lot in really short amount of time.

What's a heavy bag for boxing and kickboxing that you guys would recommend for at home training or training in general?
Also what else you you recommend for at home training? Do I need a mirror or a video camera to get my form/footwork down?

What if the Opponent hits you when you do the arm punch?
I see a mixed bag of responses here. Some seem to be fans from other areas non-boxing related, while others seem to be people genunely interested in training to box and of course there's always going to be haters. As someone previously unfamiliar with Rashid but very familiar with the fight game - training, fighting, coaching, judging & reffing over the years , I'd like to add my unbiased opinion on a few of Mike Rashid's boxing instructional videos I just watched.
First of all much respect to this man for his passion. Folks watching need to know that he's giving this advice as the way he does things and he's first and foremost a strength and physique guy. To that point, remember a man can fight and even win and still not really have sound advice as a coach. First thing I noticed when I watched his actual fight, he moves well for being a big and tight muscled guy, and its true the majority of body builder types can only push their punches with zero "snap" or quickness. Not to mention a vast majority of dudes built like him would simply gas in no time flat. So aside from respecting his passion for the game and for the fact he fought first pro fight in his 40's, I can honestly say its probably taken a man of his size / strength even more discipline and def more work to stay game fit for a fight than it would another athlete not concerned with body building. Now having said that, this is most definitely not top boxing advice. If you're looking for top quality boxing tutorials go check out guys like Coach Anthony or Fran Sands on UA-cam..they have outstanding quality instruction that any newcomer can gain a huge wealth of knowledge from...and yes even seasoned boxers can pick up some new looks and tips from (you should never stop learning). For complete newbs to boxing the flick jab Mike throws isn't the way to go. Some people use it, and it might work for some, but its not sound basics. When his big right comes out, his arm drops down after impact, another big no-no. These are glaring and hard not to notice from the start. Keeping hands up, staying limber / loose, breathing and more hip rotation are essential. Not hating at all and respect is there, but I felt the need to give an honest assessment of this man's videos..to anyone really wanting boxing education check around a little longer. Cheers.
Please write a book on boxing ❤❤💐

why do you not open a center in Tunisia :(
3:04 no hate but WHAT ARe tHoSE
Unfortunately I have to say something. Demonstrating the stance, you mentioned to keep your front foot directly forward. Instead, it should be about a 45 degree angle. Some can get away with it but for most, it helps maintain stability after throwing a 2 or right hook.
You can clearly see at 3:38 why this is relevant and important.
subs spanish please...
Gespacho!
