Just watched the 1996 trek roof repair. And true you do alot of roof jobs but we really do enjoy the videos. So yes you are really appreciated. Almost as much as the one with your mother spending the day with ya. Thank you 😊
James, there is a place in Kentucky that is a RV resting place (bone yard) Look up a video called "WHERE RV's GO TO DIE" Could be helpful when looking for that vintage or hard to find part. Great video as always. Doug is always busy because he is a very admirable man. They call on you because they know you're the best. 👍👍
James, You’ve gone and got famous. Fine video. My daughter went to college in Kentucky after being raised in So California. That rain back in Kentucky and Alabama is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.
So nice to see you getting the credit that you so richly deserve, James! Please continue to stay honest, thorough, humble and approachable as your journey continues. I know you're becoming a recognized name in the RV industry. Much respect for your integrity as a professional and as a fellow human being!
Hi James, informative video as always but also very entertaining. Doug seems like a great, salt of the Earth kind of guy. Seems like he has a lot of integrity. Looking forward to your next inspection video! Take care and as always, be careful on those roof tops!
I love Bucees, but, they only have fountain Pepsi products, I have to have some 20-24 oz bottle Mountain Dews for my motorhome road trips! I really enjoy your videos, would love to see more Foretravels. I have a 2000 Foretravel U320 40 footer.
James, great video. You mentioned a update/recall on the Norcold refer. We have a 13 Win Vista 30T with a Norcold frog. Do I need to look into an update/recall/upgrade on this factory original refer. Great work, thank you for the detail you go into. Be well. John
James , Doug you are living ....James, easy now your one handed stuff is gunna scratch that beauty .....hey why is the roof sealant so messily laid? On all RVs , I know we dont see , but .....
Did you know they actually sell portable awnings now? They're kinda like the mounted ones, but they're so lightweight you can hold it in your hand and cover your body in the rain. They call them umbrellas. I highly recommend them! ;)
Great video James! You mentioned this coach doesn't have the crummy LP oven. I used to hate them also as they would burn everything you put in them. However, I found that by purchasing an AirBake Natural Cookie Sheet, 14 x 12 in and placing it on the shelf directly above the oven burner, it completely eliminated burning and now bakes like a normal residential gas oven. I had a coach that had a convection/microwave and no LP oven but I actually prefer the LP Oven now that I have found this easy fix. Just thought I'd share in case others would like to give it a try
So if this whole tech thing stops working out for you James, you def have a future in RV sales. Didn't look at Doug's version of this one, but if I could only look at one, I rather see the one where you do the walk through. You did an excellent sales job on this coach. I feel like if I wanted to buy it, I know what I'm getting. Andrew might have gotten you started down this UA-cam road, but you've done a great job taking off on your own. Thanks for another great vid.
Thank you. I try to talk people out of RVs which can be a good sales tactic too. Andrew did help the channel a lot but I;ve been fooling around at this for awhile longer than him ;) He's just much better.
Thank you so much for your informative videos James. You have really helped me dial in what I am looking for in a used motorhome especially that I don't mind doing my own work. Because you are so darned knowledgable, I am curious if you could offer your opinion on a 2002 36' National Dolphin 5356 with 2 slides with 36,000km.
I always enjoy watching your videos. They are very informative and despite being employed by the seller you tell it as it is. I’m quite fond of the slightly older RVs especially when they have been cared for. This one is a little too grey for my taste and needs a good spring clean and perhaps a lift to give it a little more character. Both vinyl and cloth are not my favourite materials so perhaps some new ideas are needed for some kind of update. Thank you so much 😊
Gosh I which I was aware of you in 2015…..when I bought my 2001 fleetwood discovery 37V ….now don’t get me wrong she has done me right…and I payed a very low price….but in these years I’ve replaced everything….also not a bad thing…engine Cummins ISB5.9 300 hp and tranny Allison MH3000 are rock solid….but RUST RUST RUST …..oh well this to can be fixed …..thanks for the great videos
@@AZExpert oh my bad, I must have missed that part. I don’t doubt it’s the only accessible coach on the market right now. Doug always seems to get his hands on some unique coaches
Oh man, I was at that Buc-ee's in Adairsville late Saturday night on my drive home to Atlanta from Iowa, and I noticed all the RVs overnighting there. Really strange how they don't accept semi trucks but allow all kinds of other vehicles. Good to know they allow a quick stay! Also, if you're looking for video ideas, I'd love to hear your informed opinions on all the different manufacturers, years, and chassis from a technician's standpoint. You seem pretty happy with that Entegra, but I've been focusing on trying to find a '05-'08 Monaco/Beaver/Holiday Rambler with the Roadmaster S chassis and either a Detroit 60, ISX, or C13/15 since your video a few weeks ago. Are the Spartan chassis the best post-Roadmaster S chassis?
Another Great video James. Ironically you sort of answered a question about something I have been trying to figure out for quite some time now and that is whether or not I could pick someone up at the Orlando Airport driving our 45' Monaco towing my F-150. I was sure surprised to see Doug pick up up in that coach towing his car. Do you know if he was parked somewhere until you called him after you picked up your luggage or was he slowly driving around the airport loop road until you were ready to be picked up?
You are so full of information. I just got back home in our 2006 Windsport. I noticed when I got home that my living room slide moved out about 1 inch on the front side only on its own during the trip back. Would you have a reason for this?
I note there is a cable operated slide on rear passenger side. I am not a fan of cable operated slides. I understand you cannot manually open or close them if they malfunction..is that correct? Unlike schwintec or rack and pinion? What’s your opinion on cable operated slides vs schwintec or in frame rack and pinion? Comments please. Thanks
Road side and curb side is lingo in the commercial bus industry , bus always drives in the right lane where all the bus stops are located and road side is the left lane where all the cars are passing the bus on the left, so basically whoever is in charge of the desiging of this coach or the owner of the company has had a lot of experience in the commercial bus world !! like City bus drivers/operations
You should explain that nor code 1200 why Is safety it's in there and what it does... If you have directly to that video please... O h ya LIKE LIKE LIKE 👍
Why can’t RV makers get the clear coat right? Most people park their cars outside at home. If the average auto started pealing in 3 years the car industry would end. Why is this accepted as “the norm”?
Because RV's are purchased on price and held for 3-5 years only and there is no incentive for manufacturers to do better .Ultimately the consumer rewards poor workmanship and punishes quality workmanship and manufacturers race to the bottom as the first year is the only important metric
Hey we're both diet Dr Pepper people...... Hey this is funny me my wife both had covid and we just assumed our taste for Dr Pepper changed.... But from the Costco in Mesa must have got a bunch a diet Dr Pepper with very little sweetener in it...... But for 2 months we were drinking it ( Think in covid side effect)until we finally figured out we got a bunch of bad Dr Pepper..lol

Inspector extraordinaire .
I thought the same thing about road side and curb side. Dr side and pass side is a no brainer. You can’t mess it up
Makes sense to me
Have notifications on but never get one from your channel. Missed 5 vids. Time for a binge session.
Have you clicked the bell icon? That's weird! I try to have at least one per week unless I don't feel like sleeping
Gotta spring for the Buc-ee's beaver nuggets!

Curt I concur. I’ve never met James, but from watching many of his videos I believe he is a honest man and that’s a hard virtue to find nowadays.
WooHoo another road trip. Nice shorty coach. Happy you enjoyed your road trip
I did!
Harrodsburg KY, wait that's where I live. I bought my truck from AutoMartt. I have been eyeballing the Prevost on their lot
Thanks James. Love the road trip coach tours!

Did that roof is made with filon like a wenabego roof ?
the outtakes.... LMAO.
What, you dont get rain like that in Az..... oh, wait. sorry :)
Great upload. Thanks for the chuckles.

Thanks!

Very professional as always 👏 👌 👍 😀
Thanks for watching!

We Brits say Nearside (N/S) and Offside (O/S) Offside = Drivers side and Nearside = Passengers side
But of course, your Nearside is our Offside and, your Offside is our Nearside, LOL
LOL Not confusing at all Hahahaha
Great video. Just a fyi , on a diesel Entegra they recommend all slide movements occure while at ride height. 🤔🙂

Not sure what Doug is talking about, North Trail RV in Florida has several 2022 Dutch Stars for sale.
With the accessible floor plan?

yes it is a cable driven slide. it can be operated manually. Often the manufacturer makes accessibility difficult but there are a few methods.

@@AZExpert it sounds like the RV makers are not to be trusted at all then.
RVs are painted by hand in a booth, cars are done in a factory. Often RV's have fiberglass parts which outgas and damage the clearcoat.
