Off to my local Indian curry house tonight for my birthday and they have this on tap, it’s a fantastic beer. As I have not had this in a while I thought I would see if you had reviewed and you had. Great beer review Paul. Going to buy a case of this tonight after my curry and neck them all. Hopefully you’re having a few beers tonight? 🍛 🍺
i would rather drink this than most other beers because its a nice taste, easy to drink and doesn't bloat you too much like other beers. With or without a curry, its just a great beer
I agree with you cobra is beautiful beer kingfisher is another good beer years ago I use to drink Carling and fosters and then I discovered better lagers like cobra kronenbourg 1664 Stella Artois kingfisher which in my opinion is much better lagers than fosters and Carling 7:36
Just stumbled into this channel. Great, straightforward, zero bullshit beer reviews. Love that you do loads of beers that are fairly easy to find too. Thumbs up and sub from me, cheers! 🍻
It's well nice to see British channels. American beer channels are just so full of all the pomp and circumstance of, like, being, like, American? or whatever.
Hi Paul. Been drinking Cobra here in Ireland for number of years now. It's still holding it's own in sales so hopefully will be in stock for years to come. It's a shame you can't get it on nights out though. You're right when you say you want to neck it especially the first one.. Great review and thank you... Rory
It`s brewed in Ireland now by Molson Coors for UK market. That in fact is a very good thing because it`s now made with spring water. It`s a great beer with a tiny bit of spice. 🍺🍺🍺🍻🍻🍻🍻
Tried without a curry for the fist time last night and thoroughly enjoyed the subtle balanced flavour and strangely smooth mouthfeel for a lager. Only thing missing was the curry 👍
Really enjoying cobra again lately been drinking it for donkeys years in Indian restaurants over here in Northern Ireland .Just pissed off that they lowered the ABV down from 4.8 the last couple of years !One of main reasons for me drinking it again is that the German and Czech lagers although the best in the world have been wrecking me with heartburn higher carbonation will do that to you a suppose great content Paul keep up the no nullshit reviews Atleast you drink most of the beer you test 👍
Regulary ate curry's with Cobra, Kingfisher and over the past 2 or 3 years, Bangla. Of the 3, I prefer the more complex flavour of Bangla. All of them deliver low carbonation. Only beef is that they arrive at the table in a 660ml bottle. For me its too large to warrant a second bottle, whereas 500ml would definitely demand a top up. Great reviews Paul, definitely the most consistently watchable on UA-cam with and valued comments. Keep up the good work.
Great review, Dean. I wonder if you’ve noticed: didn’t Cobra used to be 4.8 abv? I’m drinking a bottle now and I’m noticing a slight change in flavour profile. I always enjoyed it’s malty taste,, but it seems a little lacking.
Oh that beer is classic. As a matter of fact as of this moment I have 24 bottles in the fridge ready to guzzle down on Thursday night. Can’t wait. I like the fact that it doesn’t have a particularly overpowering flavour and also like the fact that it doesn’t taste artificial. Even better it’s not in a clear glass bottle. LOL
10 out of 10 is defo contraversial and worthy of a good debate. However if that's how you feel that's how you feel. We are all different. Nice review mate.
Northern Southerner Beer Reviews Yeah they’ve changed the font design among other things (never understand when companies do that) Korma is dessert not a curry 😆 Cheers mate 🍻
It is what it is a knock back lager to tame the heat of a vindaloo My local Ruby murry house has mongoose on tap, same sort of thing really simple quaffable lager Nice honest review Paul Cheers
Found it haha, always liked cobra, very light larger but easily drinkable. I brought myself a bottle of tiger, and wow what a disappointment. 2/10, next video should give it a go mate.
This is not a 10 sorry very light weight it’s ok but 6 out of 10!max there is no bite about it San Miguel is different class bottle beer cobra is not in the same league
Enjoyed watching that. Like the way that you are not a beer snob. We all have different tastes so why not 10 out of 10
Because then you have to have 11 /10 and 12/10 for better beers.

Drinking it as I watch, never really noticed how unbloating it is, BUT it really is easy to drink. Game changer. Cheers.
very interesting review. I wouldn't think to drink it outside of the curry house, until now.
Sit on the pavement and drink one outside of the curry house and a good bloke might pass you a poppadom through the window.

Didn't know that Damian. Happy to see it in many stores here in Ballina, Ireland. A shame they don't sell it in the pubs

Sounds like the perfect description to me mate. You should start reviewing beers 👌🏻🍻

Loved it, it's a great lager, maybe my favourite lager, it's up there. Not gassy at all Vs almost every other lager.

love ur content mate !
Appreciate it!
Great review pal, sipping one now in the sun. I'd give it an 8 out of 10 for the same reasons as you but 2 points off for the lack of flavour.
I realize Im kinda randomly asking but do anybody know a good site to watch new tv shows online ?
I always found this beer very tasty, been living in Thailand 7 years now and never seen it over here.
Lucky you.
Sing Hahah ha instead.
Great review. 👍🏽
Love a cobra mate

Have you tried it in cans? For some reason I always find the canned Cobra more malty.

Cobra is definitely the safe choice larger therss better out there but you can't go wrong with a cobra
This is my no.1 lager......curry or not.
Never bloated, refreshing, no hangovers lol
New label for Cobra mate, have you had king cobra? I thought it was pretty good, somehow you don't come across as a Korma bloke! Nice review mate

cobra is a nice gargle
I must try this beer
Try Blue Moon. It reminds me of this.
Could you do a bangla beer review👍
Drink an amber ale like Hobgob Gold or Hatherwood's Goose with a curry.
Get a carling premier review ASAP
Always get a Cobra when I am getting a ruby murray
Definitely mate, it’s the law isn’t it? 😆

You repeat too much the same stuff and it's annoying
I didn’t find it annoying.
