    I just got a calf split for 113$…hard to beat that! I already own one and love it. Goatskin feels nice of course, but the calf split helps keep the book from being overly floppy, and it’s tough as nails. Wonderful paper used here too, I wish bibles would get away from 28 gsm and give us options for 36gsm or even 40gsm.

      The text is the most important part of the book! Your right, but if the outside helps us read the inside more often than that is important as well😊

      The outside is what protects the block. And if we have options as to what we'd like it to be aesthetically that's a good thing.
