How to Make Crispy Banana Fritters

  • The easy and correct recipe to make crispy banana fritters. I have tried many recipes, but it didn't turn out as good as this one. We just need a simple trick as shown in this video.
    Ingredients:
    - 2/3cup [110g] Rice Flour
    - Medium Ripe Bananas
    - 1 1/4cup [300ml] Water
    - 1Tbsp Sesame seeds
    - 6 1/2Tbsp [65g] All-Purpose Flour
    - 2Tbsp [15g to 18g] Glutinous Rice Flour
    - 5Tbsp [45g] Corn Starch
    - 1/2tsp Salt
    - 1/4tsp [1g or 2g] Baking Powder
    - 3Tbsp [40g] Sugar

    Thank you. Looks delicious. If you don’t have glutinous rice flour add a small egg, lightly beaten ,
    to the batter and mix well. Also some bananas r hard to coat . Dusting lightly with cornstarch will help .

    With that hollow center you could pipe in a banana cream filling… peanut butter or chocolate cream filling would be great too

    I had tried different recipe. Some result are too hard and some too soft. Most of the time. Cripsy after frying. When cool down, it soften. I like your recipe. Can we dont flatten the bananas. Instead cut into half?

    How many times did you dip the banana into the batter? It looks like you dip it three times but you said two times in the video.

    Salt 1/2 tsp or 1 tsp? Baking powder 1 g or 2 g? Because its different the receipe from video.

      Thank you very much for correcting me. I used 1/2tsp of Salt and 2g of baking powder(1g is ok too). I already corrected in the video’s description.

    How long does the crispiness last?

      About 1 hour. You can put it in the toaster or microwave to make it crispy again

    My fried bananas keep melting and don't stay whole...also the crust gets detached. What am I doing wrong?

      Maybe try a different type of banana. She used nawah bananas.
