A man of my own heart, always looking out for wildlife. Its a measure of any person. When I worked in forestry, bee nests were a common sight before clear felling a plot. I often stopped work on site to get a local bee keeper/ honey producer to move hives to his private woodland area. We all have a duty to care for nature. No excuses for not caring. Nice work!!

I did one last year similar to this and it was a young person who was selling the house after living there for about 4years. He'd never touched the garden and didn't actually know what was in it. Took me about 5hrs and cleared all but the nice shrubs and small trees. It's a great blade but you need a decent strimmer to power it .

I bought my home in the winter not knowing what the yard looked like. I was working two jobs and really didn't pay too much attention until I walked back there and discovered stinging nettle that had grown taller than the HOUSE! I didn't have a strimmer or a brushcutter. I borrowed a neighbor's pruners and lopper and a saw from my dad, put on a long sleeved shirt and a pair of leather gloves. I still get the odd plant growing every once in a while. Good eating when cooked!
That could be a lovely garden if someone puts in the work. Good work beating it into submission!

Hah, I knew it was an Oregon blade destroyer video. I'm surprised garden suppliers (Charlies) don't sell them. They are great. Things like plastic pots, plastic watering cans and surprisingly, shrubs, don't stand a chance. A customer asked me what I was doing walking up and down the garden. I said moving all the frogs. She said I couldn't care less about them. Stupid woman I thought. 2mins and I've looked for the hogs and frogs. Great video. Just shows you what a great blade and operator can do in 10mins. Lol.

Mulching down the overgrowth may be hard work but it's the "quick" and "easy" part of clearance. Without digging out the roots, and the entirety of each root, the brambles will regrow next season and they'll just keep on coming back! Ask me how I know - tackling 2000 sq. feet of 30-year established infestation! Must have been mad to take it on! @@LHLgardenservices
