That took me back!!...it Reminds me of my own garden when I moved in twenty years ago!!! I did it by myself and it took me weeks to chop it all down! It’s a beautiful garden now, and I love sitting out in it watching the birds feeding on my bird table. Very tranquil. Hope you get it exactly how you’d like and get joy from being in it after all your hard work.
I could not believe it when I noticed that there was a concrete path underneath all of those weeds. Lots of patience makes a great job, and you accomplished it well.
I love the way you do videos! I hate to listen to someone tell us what they are going to do, then do VERY little! You do a GREAT JOB!!! Thank you so much!!! 🤗🌲🌳🌿
Love that no matter what you were doing, you never let the fire get out of control!! That was great. Bet it felt good getting rid of that hedge!! That was out of control!! You guys did GREAT!!! Looks SoOo GoOod
whenever I happen to pass by an overgrown garden like this, I think to myself "Damn, I would love to clear this mess", but then I remember that not only is that hard physical labor (something I have absolutely no experience with) but it is also WAY louder than in a UA-cam clip with adjusted sound and takes MUCH longer than the 15 minutes I manage to sit through before I get up to clear out the fridge ...
I’m currently clearing a 90 x 30 feet plot of these b*****d bushes. But you got to dig out the roots or they’ll be back! Enough work to keep me going for a few months.......
Fire gets tipped out of bin....Siren.....London's Burning! I would have used a brushcutter and saved my back! Am working on an overgrown place currently, hidden ornaments and old tools and pots everywhere! It is more like an archaeological dig. Had to stop using the brushcutter to save ruining the blade, So satisfying, clearing gardens like this.
I watched this to the end ! 🤷♀️...which led me to watching other garden makeovers...and decided that this is one of the most realistic garden makeover vids out there...do you get what I mean.🤷♀️.
@@alwaysbrown75 actually my name is madz and nobody is getting mad, I just hate unnecessary fear of snakes. Just call someone to come and relocate it. Spreading fear is what gets them killed and we end up losing countless species because humans just have to kill everything on site without even knowing if it's venomous or not. It's not a joke to me.
I bet some goats could have taken out the overgrown foliage in a few days, leaving goat droppings to feed the soil. However, they aren't great handymen, and would thus not be able to remove the crappy shed down the back. Obviously, that also makes goats lousy at plumbing. Anyway, good job, lads. The yard looks a LOT better than when you started work.
Lol thanks a lot mate. 👍🏾 also put your the second part today with artificial turf. No more cutting grass again! And wouldn’t be very good for the goats gut either lol
That only looked like 2-days work because he had the video on fast forward it really took him 2 months.☺ I would have been suffering from hayfever, Good job done.👍
I know! the burn barrel. Old school California 🔥🔥🔥🔥😎. Honestly thought would scare up a large animal. My sister found an above ground POOL when she bought a hose like this🏚
Thank u for posting this I now have ideas on how I can sort mine out luckily mine is not as bad as this one in the video when u started but I definatly appreaite the video as its helped me figure out what I can do for mine to make it more manageable
i think its the thought that the garden went without attention for probably years, and nature reclaimed it, but then these two went in an before our eyes cleaned it up.
You've done a really great job there! My London garden looks similar to that one. I'm deciding whether to get it done now, or to wait until the Autumn when things have died back a bit.
Was this all in one day, wow look how overcrowded it was from the beginning and the work you put in .... too awesome and skilled. Who was the other guy?
You defo needed a cordless/petrol strimmer for that type of overgrowth....that trailing wire scaring me. Well at least it got done and I hope you've now invested in one of the above mentioned 👍🏾

I love no music. I like the little speeded-up noises.
There's something so satisfying about just standing and watching a fire burn. 🔥🔥🔥
I don't get why they didn't just burn the grass and brush too.
Love that there’s no annoying music. Well done on a great job.

Yes, because I have to make a burn pile to get rid of all trash. Don't worry I keep the water hose handy.
I know I ain’t the only one who thought a snake or something else might jump out the bushes 🤣
So what if it did? They live in this world too. It's not a big deal..

Or a bike!
Awesomemess! You both inspired me to clean up my place! Beautiful!
I am amazed you can have a burn pile in your yard. We can't do that where I live in California.
Nanana annncy not likely to start a wild fire in wet green London.
I know! the burn barrel. Old school California 🔥🔥🔥🔥😎. Honestly thought would scare up a large animal. My sister found an above ground POOL when she bought a hose like this🏚
Most cities won't let you. I'm especially amazed you can do it in London, which had such huge air pollution issues in the past!

Watching this while my garden turns into the amazon.
Well done lads that's a lot of grafting
We who clear out gardens, we all admire a fire. Not too close to anything to be kept and with a bucket or three of water filled and ready.
Genius. Just burn the bramble. We our ours in huge compost paper bags and set them out on the curb with the trash 😂
I dont know why im watching this but its strangely satisfiying.
i think its the thought that the garden went without attention for probably years, and nature reclaimed it, but then these two went in an before our eyes cleaned it up.
My American family call it 'yard work' our British side say it's gardening. And Hong Kong me is like 'where's the mosquitoes at?' Great job btw.
The Exciting part was when you found the pathway under all the debris.

This is oddly satisfying to watch.
That was awesome work ❗I thought there might be someone in that shed 😳 It's nice now they can use the clothesline again 😆
Oh my God, you found an entire bicycle in that mess!
This really gives me hope that I can de-weed my garden properly
Nice work, relaxing to watch the time-lapse!
