I love to see hedges given a really good cut like this, none of this tickling an inch off like a lot of people, hedges end up si wide and taking up half the path. Great job as always x
Love the pup! So cute.. He clearly thinks you should be playing with him, not trimming a boring hedge! 😁 Great trimming job though. Looks very nice Lee! 👍
Today I had to clear a garden full of Brambles and a 50 year old Rose that had grown through a mountain ash tree, Absolute nightmare as the Rose didn't want to let go 😔 so I'm covered in pain from the Rose but no waste! ,😁👍 I have a Fuxtec mulching mower and a Forest Master chipper, instead of 4 ton bags or maybe more of time and trouble I have nothing, and the Client was Happy as I infact saved them money! Your the only other person I've seen who does it this way. Are We unique?! 😂
Ouch! I don't understand why everyone doesn't do it this way. Apart from the practical side, it just makes sense not to deplete the garden of all that nitrogen.
As ever a top video. What I liked about this one is your honesty and self-criticism ("not my finest hour") - as a fellow gardener and stickler, I know exactly where you are coming from Lee. Maybe it is good enough for the customer - and it is indeed a good job done - but I understand your frustration. As you say, it will all get sorted when next year's new growth is ready to cut.
I bet the dog still has your glove, I left a pair in a garden with a dog once, got back and searched for ages then realised the dog had taken them and chewed them up, luckily I only buy cheap ones now. That's a cracking job and will look really nice when it re greens.
Awwww gorgeous pup! bless the way he sat at the end of the hedge waiting for you with his toy i bet he thought "Oh its mr.Squeaky Balls!!" sorry.. "Mr Michael Jackson"!!!! ahahahaha Great job as always mind i always think your going to fall off of those ladders they are so high up!! I thought big reductions on a beech hedge were best done when its dormant.
Great job Lee as always 👍 I think measuring from the fence was a great idea. What is the name of the machine you used to mulch all the waste?
Cheers...if the hedge is out I'm blaming the fence for being out 😅
Can you share a link to the big mower or even make and model.
Hi lee great job 👍did it take long the next day? Was that the gardener or customer that was at the end of hedge?
Cheers 👍🏻it was the gardener 👀
I have to ask, is your hedge trimmer 2 or 4 stroke.
The reason that I ask is when I'm trimming my Griselina the motor struggle's.

2 stroke 👍🏻
