  • This property has been empty for over 6 years and the garden and hedge have been neglected. I was asked to cut back the hedge and garden to make it more attractive to buyers. This job is by no means the standard of our work as different situations require different approaches. Hope you enjoy it please like share comment and subscribe and don't forget to press the bell #listentolee

I have sore muscles from watching you work on this monster of a job. Whatever they paid you, it wasn't enough! In the US there would have been a crew of four, all using power tools, and they would have been challenged. I salute you, sir. Cutting back that jungle was an impressive accomplishment.

You may not be 18 but you are a bigger and better man than any that I know. You tackled the job and never gave up. All the men that I know would have either walked away or quit after the first day. That was a monumental task for one man. I certainly admire your work ethic and your tenacity.

Hi there again, LHL. Love your concern for the wildlife. I had to put back my first cut at the tall brambles for a year due to nesting and other creatures. The damned crows and magpies had most of the eggs and chicks anyway and so last year we cut them down out of season. Now they are back again at low level - the brambles that is - there is no mercy. I did find some frogs who've come to us and hope that the noisy m/c gets them to safety - I'll be on close watch for them. They are hopefully part of my slug control.
By the way, fella, whatever you might call yourself - you're NOT daft!
Empathise over the conifers. We inherited an 8ft+ conifer hedge which is now 4ft and it was a beggar to reduce. Nothing like the brutes you were dealing with. Whoever bred the Leylandii needs *******ing!
Who does your camera work? Surely you don't do that as well! Holy Moly!
Just thinking - thank goodness you've got all the essential H/D tools for the job - can you imagine that job 70+yrs ago with shears, spade, bow saw and loppers? Phew!
You took on a nightmare, NW bro', and you did a very creditable job. All credit to you.
    Thanks for sharing
