  • #80 Whoop De Doo
I use black glass, dichroic glass & a cool whoop de doo mold to make a cool, sparkly, easy wall hanging. I do it all in 1 firing. It's a fun easy project that would be impossible to recreate exactly but use this as inspiration to make something easy & fun for yourself.
I was sent this mold by a viewer & fellow UA-camr. (a link to his channel is below)
    Thanks so much for watching!

Glad the fuse and slump in one step worked great. Good to know. Thanks!
Idea: Once you put it on the nail, glue another small piece of prefixed dichro (to achieve the same look as the rest) to the nail head and make it invisible.

Wow! I was worried some of the dichro would create super-thin holes where you had no black backing. Looks terrific! Definitely worth having fun with. Thank you Suan, looks great! :-)

Debbie Zito thank you. I was given this mold by a UA-cam friend, Capt Mike. I don’t believe he sells them but maybe he will if you ask nice or he can tell you where to get one or show you how to make one. 🤞

Where do you buy your dichroic glass from? It is quite expensive.

Can you buy this mold or do you have to make it? I watched his video on how he made it.

Karen Avery I believe I have seen something similar to this mold by the major mold companies but since you watched Capt Mike make it you can make one. 😁
