Super video Susan! Do I see a boo boo on your left thumb? be careful with that glass. ;)
Capt Mike I always have a boo boo somewhere on my hands. 🤪
Great idea! Thank You for sharing
Welcome back, Honey Bunny! You could do that with cremains also. Would creep some people out, but not everyone.
Judy Johnson thanks! I’m not back. This is what I do on vacation, edit. 😁
@@SusanMcGarryGlass Now I get it! If I were on Maui, there's NO WAY I would be near a computer. Just sayin'. Love you!
Hi Susan...I love watching your videos! I not only learn a LOT from you, but your voice is so calming, that it makes me relax, and try harder!! My larger kiln is at somebody else's house right now, but I have a microwave kiln here! I am going to a Celebration of Life tomorrow, for a friend that passed away recently. I would love to make some of these for her family, to be able to carry around a little piece of her love with them!! I tried it last night a couple of times, but both times, the bottom dichroic glass broke before it fused. Would you have any idea what kind of schedule I should try? (In a 100 watt microwave, I put it on 4 minutes @ 50%, then 5 minutes @ 60%, then back down to 3 minutes at 50%, then take the kiln out of the microwave, and let it all cool off naturally, before opening the kiln.)
Thanks Susan…. You are a great teacher! Kathie from Mexico 😎👍👍🐢
Thank you for this great idea and for inspiring me to try something new and different.
Excellent presentation. Well done...another use? Human & pet cremains
Johnella Mathley I was thinking the same thing but thought I’d stick with sand for the video. 😁
Hi Susan
Pendant looks amazingly beautiful! I just love it!
What type of fiber paper did you use Fiberfrax? It left the glass clear an shiny , I’ve only use bullseye thin fire an papyros shelf paper along with the fiber blankets which leaves your glass piece rough on the bottom. I’ve had some type of paper that was soft an 1/8 inch thick I used an it ruined my whole glass project.
I wish I remembered. I bought a bunch years ago and I’m just about out.
About 10 seconds in I literally said - no way she’s gonna make a bottle - really - I was gobsmacked! You’re amazing!
Angelia Hansen lol. Kind of a bottle
