Let's talk about fused glass

What is fused glass and how does it differ from blown glass?
Fused glass results in dramatic, artistic art expressions, from the manipulation of cold glass shapes and layering. The art forms at 1410 degrees, when it is warm enough to soften into one solid layer. The results are beautiful and magical.
This differs from blown glass, which forms at 2400 degrees, and manipulated out side of the furnace, also resulting in magical art!

Beautiful works of art… as an artist myself I have work in many mediums but just found glass fusing in the last few months and I have fallen in love with medium. Only have a microwave kiln at present but I imagine this will grow. Thanks for showing your passion
