Great story and retelling, as always. It's a shame the state the house is, but at least it's not a pile of rubble. A good reminder to the local kids to stay away from the demon drink! Thank you, happy Hallowe'en.
From medical experience, if someone who drinks heavily for years and then stops abruptly, they are going to go into withdrawal. They get uncontrollable shakes, paranoia, agitation, anxiety and hallucinations ie black dogs. It can be fatal if untreated. Not that in this instance it’s not poetic justice.
Wonderfully told and as spooky as they come! I'll never be able to break open a tube of the crispy things under advisement again without thinking of this tale! Thank you Sir! 🌟👍
So sad we felt for the man and son who were so brutally tormented to death.. 😭💔 And so glad we felt at the vengeance obtained against Cruel James by the wife and mother of his victims!!🤩🌹 Was grand to see justice done against this evil man.. We could not help but wonder what became of his poor wife and son who escaped.. perhaps they also have a tale to tell……..🌹 As always.. the tale is a fine one.. most memorably told by our favorite handsome bard with the magical voice richer than gold.. and smoother than silver….✨ Beautifully done, Sir.. as always much appreciated you are💜💙✨ William and Jen
@@brandyjean7015 Thank you ever so much.. we do get carried away sometimes.. maybe being Irish and Scottish ourselves puts the love of these stories in us.. really appreciated your kind words 💜💙
He is very good. To even get some of this video footage shows a high degree of committment; for example, the aerial shots of the structure. Is his accent Irish, Scottish, or what?
i always get so excited when i hear the mention of elliott’s in your videos. just randomly hearing mention of my ancestors is such a surprise and it’s so interesting to hear it all! amazing vid as always :))
You don’t know how much I could use a distraction rn as where I live has recently been washed away in the devastation hurricane Helene brought to Southern Appalachia. 4:17 (WHAT??) While our property was spared many neighbors haven’t fared so well. It’s been 3 weeks of nonstop work for myself & everyone else local to here & it doesn’t look as if any recovery has been being done. There are still dozens missing in my small town alone, hundreds & hundreds in the whole region. The media has not begun to come close to making it clear just how much damage has been done & overplayed any roll played by FEMA or TEMA or even The Red Cross, the local churches & us folks blessed enough to still have belongings we’re able to help our neighbors out with. So anyone who’s thinking of donating to help, look up churches in the area you’d like to help & give to them bc that’s who has been on the ground actually making a positive difference.
Candles too, yes they’d be very dark. And yes there’s hundreds of towers. Some are lived in today as modern homes. Some are hotels. Others are open to the public as museums such as Gilnockie Tower.
Ah Pringle, you fool. It's never wise to remind an old woman in her grief, that she's a Witch

This reminds me of my favorite sherlock Holmes novel! The Hound of the Baskervilles!!!

Pringles are never to darken our door again, one of the boycotted products re the horrors in Gaza. 😬
Wow, that was great storytelling, riveting, it's the kind of justice we all secretly seek for those evil enough to deserve it
"Once you pop, the fun don't stop." That's the Pringles jingle. Great story as always. I love the background music.
Glad you enjoyed!

@MalachiWhite-tw7hl I always get the Scots, and the Irish accent mixed up.
But Americans often do that.
He's English border county Northumberland accent @@MalachiWhite-tw7hl
@@mickpearson6184 You sound like a UK resident, based on your (presumed) first name. Thanks from Pennsylvania.
Sounds like ole pringle had a...chip, on his shoulder.

@@brandyjean7015I just realized this joke won't translate to the English viewers since they call chips crisps lol.

What a dark house! Did they need torches & fires all day just to see their way around?! Are there any like that restored?

What a vile man but karma got him in the end thankfully 👍
who is the artist of the painting at 3:20 ?
Don’t know. Perhaps you can look it up on Google camera search.
I’d say the Laird got what was coming to him. 👍🏻
