@Nash I bought a LG C1 a little over a year ago... im not buying another tv lol...I already bought my setup anyways and figured if they launch a 2.1 box I'll just upgrade that🤷♂️
@@DawgyJotti just means if your TV supports 2.1. 4k means u can play video games in PS5 Xbox series X up to 120fps so because the current Philips hue box only supports up to 60fps because it does not have 2.1 hdmis so your games will only be maxed out at 60fps
That looks like a mirror on the right side of the video, next to the door. How did you get lights to show on the side of it? And what kind of lightstrip are you using for the glass windows?
It's great when it works. But on my cablebox it crashes and I get a blank screen and no sync anymore. Only switching off the sync box en rebooting helps and that very annoying. Maybe somebody knows a solution
In our experience the Sync box is not great when handling heat. I’d say try to keep heat sources and the sync box separated, as for us, that results in almost no issues!
Hi there! Can you tell me your setup? Do you had any issue with Dolby Vision content? I have an LG CX + Philips Box + Apple TV 4k 2021 and the lights won't sync at all in Dolby!
Have you enabled "Dolby Vision Enhanced compatibility" in the Hue Sync app? It's under "Advanced sync settings". You also need to connect the Apple TV to port 2 or 4 on the Sync Box. (I have the same setup as you and it works for me.)
You will if you are trying to use it at 4k/120hz the Philips hue play box will not support it. You possibly might have issues with Dolby Vision as well. Philips has claimed they have no immediate plans to release a 4/8k 120/60 hz compatible version.
I think this looks really bad. The lighting is sometimes related to color that on the middle of the screen, so it makes no sense that light would come out of the screen.
Not really when they do that white ring in the middle you can see the light isnt lit up. The little light I believe is the one coming off the back of the tv. Which seems odd but makes sense because they set the position of tha flight there so it should light up. It also depends on whether you accurately input the position of your lights relative to the tv, for the app, I'm not sure if its 3d or 2d space. I think to really maximize this it's better to place the lights symmetrically. Otherwise when there are intense light at the top for instance but you only have 1 side with lamps to that height itll light up brighter on 1 side than the other and would feel the syncing is off. Either way even if it works well I think it only fits certain content. Personally I would be bothered by the ambient light for stuffs like nature documentary .
I did another video with better quality here - instagram.com/reel/CoOlYeHjSj0vu7ZfR5w4lh5T1YiFELg1TFAawE0/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

Only thing missing is the Steamed Hams…
May I see it?
@@w00f0x No… 🤣

I really wish they would do a HDMI 2.1 version... that's literally the only thing holding me back from buying it
Just get the actual Philips ambilight TV they now support 2.1

I have a bunch of Hue lights as well. Wondering which lights you have setup throughout the room?
Sure wish someone would demo it with regular content.
it's all over youtube. Look for other videos, reviews.

What Hue lights are you using here? I see the table and floor lamps, is it just those and the gradiant strip behind the tv?
What is the video and where did you get it from please?

Anyone know where I can get this exact test video? I just find various other versions. But not this one, with Atmos and Vision all in one.
I found it on the Dolby Atmos app on my Xbox

Bias lighting is supposed to be 10% of the TV brightness. This is too bright. Not good for the eyes. Looks cool tho.
That's really cool
