Props for using Monitor Audio speakers, my favorite. I only have the Bronze series (5th gen), but I am super happy with them. The FX surround speakers in di-pole mode create an amazing overhead sound illusion.

I have the strip and tried similar setup for about a month but took it off. I actually found it distracting from actual content, because I would see the cabinets and furnitures around when strip lit up diverting my attention. I prefer turning off all the lights and focus on TV alone. Atmos and TV alone is enough for me.

I have Govee as well, the strip and the bars on the sides. It's not that good as Hue here.

Setup is clean and beautiful but my only complaint would be about the size of the tv. I think it should be bigger by about 10-20 inches.

Do you have speakers in the ceiling, or do you have upfiring speakers?
I've never been in a pitch black room with an oled tv, but I presume that if one were to be in such a situation, without being informed the tv was in the room, that if you put on a completely pure black image on the oled's tv screen, one wouldn't be able to discern that there was a tv present in the room. This video seems to somewhat help verify that theory.

So dope. I found your video by connecting all the dot to get my media/supersmall theater room set up. Now that I’ve educated myself on Dolby Atmos, purchased a projector, 120” screen, receiver and speakers. I’m trying to configure a way to add in hue play. I have the hue play sync but there’s no play gradient to fit around the 120” (I have this in another room on a 75” so I’m addicted) I’m wondering if the new light strip gradient “ambient” has the ability to function as the hue play gradient. Agains dope set up.
