reading the comments from people who’ve been in war talk about how it’s peaceful to them because they had to find peace in an environment like this makes me really appreciate the person who made this.
After several combat tours, my wife cannot understand why I would find soothing, puts me asleep in minutes. I tried to explain to her that it was when things were absolutely quiet that you had to be concerned; still takes my spidey senses to Defcon 2.
I have a long history of family members that have fought in wars. Such as ww1 and 2 civil war, Vietnam and even Korean. So I’m convinced that it’s ingrained in my dna to find this soothing.
actually this is helpful. if you have actually been in a hot zone. this is kind of normal. you come home. and it's just too damned quiet. you need to take sleeping pills to even get to sleep. and every little noise wakes you up. That's actually totally normal for quite a while really.
I wish you would do danger close sounds I find it relaxing reminds me of the time I spent in Iraq it’s crazy to think one can sleep with mortars and gun fire but I can’t get out loud enough to bring the exact great sleep I had there I miss it but I am thankful for this thanks ambient group I pray they don’t make you take it down I been sleeping good nothing like a rumble to soothe the nerves keep up the great work just bring it in way closer but I know I’m a nobody asking for a big favor I understand if you don’t I still listen to these
I wasnt overseas, nor have i experienced anything like this myself. But i do have this ring in the ears from working at an airport and it just helps drown out the deafening silence.
This is the only way I can sleep now. If it is quiet, that's the threat and I cannot sleep. There's another video with heavy distant artillery that also works.

I have no idea what its like on an actual battlefield, and im terrified of the thought of ever finding out but for some strange reason this is so relaxing

i wish that i could back and time and tell my grandma that letting rick do that instead of letting me take it to court, would put me around very selfish heartless crooked ppl who robbed me all of my life. then left me alone with no family, friends, wife, kids,, job, money, or teeth .....basically being held prisoner by racist crooks at 47yo.

Love the high-def visual of the battlefield.
why is this actually really relaxing
I can't even claim to have ever served in the military, but I still find this soothing for some reason.
If ou hear gunfire its a good thing you know someone is still alive and banging away
Am i weird for genuinely liking this and getting an actual good sleep cause of this…

"Oh, nothing really. Just some memories.
