There’s something strangely comforting about this. It’s nostalgic even though I’ve never seen it before. I think it reminds me of playing Metroid Prime at my grandparents’ house when I was a kid.
It's where all the video games are created before they get distributed to the world. Konami Mountain in Japan. It's rumored to be guarded by Metal Gear Rex as well.
This landscape makes imagine living in one of the small houses next to the big building. I've listened to countless soundscapes but this one...nothing comes even close. For me it evokes a certain nostalgia to my childhood. But in a positive and serene way. Just beautiful!
Used to work there. Travel time was a b though. Usually we stayed on the rig, as we called it, for 4 to 5 months at a time. Sometimes the supply truck would get stuck because of severe snow storms, and we would have to live of off canned goods. But what we found in the mountains... Sadly, we where all forced to sign NDAs at the site so I can't elaborate further on our findings. But suffice it to say; this track certainly conveys the emotional impact the discovery had on me. That little description actually had me staring at the laboratory for a good twenty minutes (it didn't help smoking a bowl right before) trying to figure out and understand what the people in the town were trying to achieve. And since their memories are wiped every time they leave, the secrets within will never reach the public. That little description actually had me staring at the laboratory for a good twenty minutes (it didn't help smoking a bowl right before) trying to figure out and understand what the people in the town were trying to achieve. And since their memories are wiped every time they leave, the secrets within will never reach the public. But this drives my curiosity, and maybe one day we'll find out what it is that is so classified inside one of the most secretive laboratories in the world.
