Don’t forgetting the feeling of defeating a very difficult monster for the first after so many attempts...and then you realize you have to grind it again. XD
2:45 solo or if needing the help, get a party of 3 people to offset the huge bump in health the monster gets. The health increase is roughly 2 1/2 players worth. Damage does not scale. Palicos suck unless you are geared to utilize them, and even then it will take a LOT of time for a palico to do the job you are supposed to do.
+DNHollow you know I used to be proud to be a MH Vet but now I kind of shy away from using that exact terminology - it's gotten a negative connotation to it recently which is really upsetting. Either way, thank you for the comment! I'll be releasing another video before launch in a similar fashion to this one.
I understand your train of thought, and I am in a similar position. The term lost its value when self proclaimed veterans started showing up and giving false information for the sake of ego, rather than for the community. Will look forward to seeing more videos, hope you get the attention you deserve
2:37 sorry but there will be people who disagree with you there. Greatsword is one of the most disgusting weapons so far in terms of damage output. Any other weapon will be slower at taking out a monster verses a greatsword (except fliers should one run out of flashpods or the monsters are/become immune to them). Sure any weapon should theoretically be good to take out a monster, however some weapons are a lot faster at doing the job than others provided one has the skill to use them. Skill can only carry you so far.
Great video was just searching more videos until the full game releases, i have noticed that a lot of people do not like the new radial menu but i find it extremely useful. Happy Hunting!
+Ramza Wyvernjack great question: yes. Everything you've used is lost and everything you've gained during the quest you keep. In some manner this is an efficient farming method.
How does one run out of zennies in Monster Hunter? I've always had my zennies go up and up as I play the game and can never run out of it no matter what. Maybe try not to craft or upgrade any weapons if you're still cakewalking earlier on in the game, only do it if you're really having trouble with clearing a particular quest. This might also help you get better at the game as you won't have to rely on your weapon being strong but rather yourself.
+xTHEARBITER117 well, you don't HAVE to stick to just one, but you may find it easier in the early game. Try to find one that you can use across multiple monsters
As a HR 700+ MH4U player returning how do i find tips on being a returning player from the series, not a returning player to world? I mastered SA LS CB DB and BG throughout my years. I used to play 3DS i need to know the main differences as a veteran not the tips for newcomers... anybody know any links please?
+Aaron Lawrence thanks man! And also... Thank youuuu ;) helps if you share the video (and come back later, I'm working on a few vids that are hopefully going to be more helpful)
oh okay- is there any "general" info about them? kind of confused on the role of them. They weren't featured in the previous MH games i played only as NPCs in towns/maps
+Drc21 we don't know much about them in MHW since the demo all gave preset equipment and only one set up. They've been around for a long time though so we have some background info on them even if they have changed from game to game. They're basically there for support. They act as another player when hunting with 2 people or solo. You can create equipment for them much like yourself, and set them up with a palico specific item/skill, such as the flash fly cage or vigorwasp trap.
Smooth sexy voice with helpful and approachable tone. Hard to believe I like women after that comment but smashing that Sub button nonetheless!! As a new MH player I will def be looking out for more MHW vids! Thank you.
you should state a question verbally before answering, in some instances like the best weapon question you answered it before the question came on screen, and viewers who are watching this on the side could have some trouble, really would just make the video better, no drawbacks
having played 4 other monster Hunter games already, after playing for a couple hours I decided to act like a noob and attack an anjinath with jagras armor and the bone kris II... I was disappointed in myself
I just started out on PC and this is the best beginner guide I've come across. Thanks for the video!
Mh is really frustrating at first but that feeling of satisfaction when you completed your armor is very satisfying.
Don’t forgetting the feeling of defeating a very difficult monster for the first after so many attempts...and then you realize you have to grind it again. XD
i heared the "until next time - happy hunting" and thought: Gaijin Hunter is that you?
This was very helpful, thank you. I was having issues with the UI and items and your video answered so many of the questions that I had.
glad it helped!
All good tips man, and in only 8 minutes too. I have trouble summing up this much info in such a short timespan admittedly lol
+Salderin thanks, I didn't want to drag it on too long so I'm glad it was a good length for ya!
Awesome tips on the options! I’ll be sure to check them out in Game

As a new MH player (yes this is my first one ever) some useful stuff the game doesn't tell you.
Subbed.
Thank you! i'm glad you found it helpful!
I know right I'm about to fight nirgigante for the first time and I'm just learning this stuff lol defiantly subbed
A rare video with helpful information that isn't pulled out of nowhere, very nice to see with such a large influx of "im a veteran btw" people.

+DNHollow the more people share these videos, the more help and motivation I get :) thanks for stopping by man
Im not completely unknown in the community so I'll be sure to spread the word
I beat the Nergigante on Sunday.. I am so happy. Can't wait for tonight. I'm so excited!
I wanna record your voice and then listen to it when I want to fall asleep. Your voice is so so smooth.
come to a stream of mine, i'll say anything you want*
*not true in the slightest but i do talk more there.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This video soundtrack so nostalgic 😢
that's why i chose it! its's one of my favorites
Dude, I wish I had seen this video before the last beta. SMH why isn't this voted higher, I'm posting this to twitter.
+blackryn0 thank you! I really appreciate it! I've got another I'll be posting before launch if you want to come back.
VengefulTorture most deff
in past games i always played long sword but this time i’m playing hammer and i love it
Thank you for the very informative and to the point video.

What is the soundtrack you used for the background?
one of the best! thanks man great vid :)
+voss blonde thank you!
Thank's !
The perfect guide!
Great video was just searching more videos until the full game releases, i have noticed that a lot of people do not like the new radial menu but i find it extremely useful. Happy Hunting!
Newbie question. If you fail the hunt, do you still keep the ingredients and mats you gotten up to that point?
+Ramza Wyvernjack great question: yes. Everything you've used is lost and everything you've gained during the quest you keep. In some manner this is an efficient farming method.
It’s... it’s here!

You do sweet vid man. Cheers 🤙🤙
+joseph goad thank you!
I would absolutely disagree with making the direction control type 2. Waaaay less freedom in dodging
How do I get the thing to pop up in the top right corner
Never mind
I️ don’t know what weapon to use. In the beta, I️ learned to use most of the weapons, but I liked all of them
+xTHEARBITER117 well, you don't HAVE to stick to just one, but you may find it easier in the early game. Try to find one that you can use across multiple monsters
I rushed through the beginning stages, does that mean I should restart or is there something else I should do?
Nah you're good, you can always go back and farm things you need

HOW do you customize the scroll menu?? I've been trying to find the option to do that but I can't.
+Noah Sklar options>customize radial menu. All menus are in there
+Noah Sklar unless you mean the old item menu. That's in options, item pouch
couldnt agree more with you... hope this video gets more attention!
p.s. sexy voice
+Aaron Lawrence thanks man! And also... Thank youuuu ;) helps if you share the video (and come back later, I'm working on a few vids that are hopefully going to be more helpful)
any information on palicos?
+Drc21 I didn't include any info on them because what we were given in the beta was pretty limited. I may do a video once the full game comes out
oh okay- is there any "general" info about them? kind of confused on the role of them. They weren't featured in the previous MH games i played only as NPCs in towns/maps

+tonytonez thank you for commenting! Another video out this week ;) just need to start it... But it'll be more tips!!!
This game is threatening as hell for noobs. Also sexy voice.
Not all noobs. MHW is badass!
Doggo what the fuck are you talking about? Lmao

Sexy voice indeed more power to you,
+CZARNYL TABUYAN why thank you
Yo, this guy sounds exactly like Egoraptor.
Isn't he the dude who goes around in Rust trying to sell pizzas and home insurance?
i feel like you just started playing monster hunters lmfao
