He never really said it in the video but the light bowgun and heavy bowgun are really different. Light is made for a mostly support role, with its quick shots you can constantly heal/shield/damage boost allies or poison/paralyze/sleep/track the monster. It doesnt do much damage but thats because its mostly a support weapon. Heavy is a high damage weapon, (not only when your wryvern is up!) if you constantly use bullets effective against the monster type you WILL be one of the highest dps in your team, the bullets are slow so you cant prioritize supporting the team and sleep/paralyze bullets are kind of a waste due to your shot speed) but its high damage from range more then makes up for it. Also heavy bowgun in this game can equip a shield apparently so your not just a sitting target...
It should also help to know the game being compared to the weapon in case anyone isn't sure. It was Teostra, had a Hunting Horn giving us all buffs, Dual Blade guy did that beyblade spin down his spine, cut off the tail. The point of all the weapons being in game hit me right about then.
@@kinsan89 I think it was probably a glitch, I've seen the same thing happen in a couple UA-cam videos, it might have something to do with either hitting the right spot on the sword or being in an animation when the sword hits you. Or it could possibly have been patched since this, I haven't played in a while lol
The main things I get flinched by are bowguns…… the sticky ammo is VERY annoying to get flinched by, especially when I’m playing hammer, because BG goes for the head, and so does hammer.
that is an awesome kill, and honestly I love the glaive. Any time I mount a Monster as it tries to flee the current combat zone, I start singing "I'm going on a trip, on my favorite target. I'm going to die."

He’s so right. When I first started, I used the charge blade and for some reason just could not understand the combat. I started using dual blades, and since then I’ve had a lot of fun, and even revisited some of the slower weapons and had a lot of fun. It’s definitely important to find a weapon that suits you early on.
@@SpaceMissile hardcore charge blade main; its a joke about how people like saying CB is the hardest weapon in the game when we all know it just becomes repeated movements and muscle memory after a while

Dark souls has casuals? 😂 Reminds me of the time that my room mate laughed because bloodborne has a high plat rate. As in, a lot of players have gotten plat. He assumed that it was because it's an easy plat. NO. it's because soulsbourne players are DEDICATED.
Should i buy monster hunter? I like ds bloodborne sekiro nioh and most importantly dauntless the only thing is i hate that dauntless doesn’t have a story and that every weapon has the same base stat even when crafting a high level sword.
excuse me? in monster hunter generations the horn turned one of the most annoying monsters (dreadqueen rathian) into a joke everybody loves a good hunting horn player
Hunting horn seems like an interesting weapon with how its quality is. A bad or mediocre hunting horn player will likely have a lot of trouble since they won't be able to keep buffs up or get the better buffs off while a good hunting horn player can keep a party or themselves buffed heavily and still manage to destroy the monster
comparing playstyles to other games is exactly what i like to see! really helps imagine how it feels. ive been a stalwart sword and shield user since the first game and really warmed my old heart to see it appreciated rather than sold short as a "noob weapon"
This was an amazingly informative guide for a Total Monster Hunter Noob. The fact that you took all the time to come up with graphs and similar game playstyle and feel for those of us with no experience with this game is such a stroke of genius. Thanks so much for your hard work on this!
Fred Mendenhall . As someone who has used all 14 weapons. 12 weapons from freedom series to 3u and 14 from 4u- generations, the info for these weapons are a little first of all bias and second of all the actual conditions for these weapons weren’t even discussed properly.basically the info you got out of this video is what you’ll get out of just watching the trailer and that’s extremely misleading. He talks about the weapons on a scale of which weapon type does more damage and if you played mh before information like that is extremely misleading. Basically if that chart was real every weapon would have the exact line going straight across because every weapon type is balanced out. Because every weapon type has a set motion value due to the size of each weapon some types have higher dps than others so their values may be smaller. If you want to know what type of weapon is good for you don’t look at the stats look at what it can do and find the techniques in them I suggest looking at gaijin hunters videos on the 14 weapons. He has covered actual tutorials on each weapon on different each game release
Actually that's exactly what I was using this video for. I am completely new to the series. I don't understand how the move sets and playstyle works with the weapons and I was curious about some of the way these move sets work and how they might have a similar style gameplay or move-set wise to a game that is outside the MH series that I might have a bit more experience with. Using that information helped me to look at two different weapons that I was thinking I might use in this game. The sword and shield because its the Noob friendly weapon and then I was looking at something maybe for Range...and I settled on the bow. After starting the game last night and trying a number of different weapons...the video was correct in helping me determine that my two play types are going to revolve around these weapons at first. I really enjoined the little bit I got to play last night before going to bed and I am looking forward to having the whole weekend with it after I get off work today.
Fred Mendenhall from experience this game doesn’t tell you what the perks for each weapon have and what conditions each weapon has and as far as I know this video didn’t go over any of that either
As a somewhat proud wielder of the insect glaive, I can say that the wielders of the glaive can have an alternative role (one I play as). The De-buffer.
Yes and no. I'm a hammer main veteran (been since mh3u) and if I could explain what the hammer's playstyle is, it's like baby's first greatsword. Both require a lot of knowledge of the monster and the ability to read that information to maximize the damage potential, but the hammer is a lot easier and forgiving (in some aspects) for that imo. But being able to read the monster and punishing it with a massive blow to the skull is oh so satisfying. 10/10 would bang again lmao.
Hunting Horn tutorial: Stun the monster, then dance around playing songs instead of hitting the monster. "You'll notice a drop off in your damage." Killing me, man. Killing me.
koiwalo did they re re-release it then for Xbox one PS4 and PC? I've only heard about it until now and have only seen it in the Xbox store until now. I don't know I guess I'm just not in the know but thanks
There are two different play styles with the Insect Glaive. One is the Aerial style which has the Hunter being in the air for almost all of the fight except jumping back up or using the sharpener or other ability (I know they aren’t really abilities, I just couldn’t really think of a better name), and the other is the Ground style which has the Hunter being on the ground for almost all of the fight and only being in the air to mount a monster
Fantastic video, very helpful for the indecisive type like me! Seemed you were challenged with the Insect Glaive analogy which makes sense XD. For me, it reminded me most of the more 'jump-centric' characters from the 'Tales of' RPG series. Like Milla, Judith, or Regal. Maybe a niche series but it's still one of my favorites haha. Insect Glaive in-game description seemed super complicated so I avoided it, but you made it look super fun! I think I'll just dive in and see how I enjoy it.
Boomstick Gaming puzzle sword: every strike requires you to hit a certain part of a monster to unlock a puzzle. After you unlock said puzzle, you enter a frenzy and your attack+attack speed go up. What would normally be a puzzle hit would become a much harder hitting blow until the enraged state is over
LGEX as a cb main it’s gonna take u like 10 mins of gameplay and a UA-cam video to figure out how to use it lol the main problem for starting out is that it really requires end game builds to function well
"With the hammer since you'll be mostly doing blunt damage, if combined with the monsters FACE you'll be stunning him a lot" I dont think i ever laughed this much on a serious informative video. Freaking amazing, subbed!
As someone just getting into this massive game on my PS4 this video was a huge help to see an hear your views before I get started :) Thank you so much for the time this high quality video took :).
That's pretty much all you can say to greenhorns as far as the general game goes aside from the all important "Never quit". If you give up, you've wasted money on a game you'll never play, but if you stick with it, you've found yourself a new beloved series and honestly one of the better online communities around.
Meta Nightmare445 yea it’s not a game I could see myself giving up on. Boss fights in the DS series were perfect training to fight the monsters in this. Def loving the game in a huge way.
Awesome vid. Already sent it to all of my friends! (Just one thing) The dual blades don’t use low damaging attacks to build up to their demon mode, like you described. Demon mode is always available. Using it drains stamina, but fills up a “demon gauge” with successful hits. When the demon gauge is filled, you enter archdemon mode. In this mode you use your normal move set, but have access to some of your demon mode moves without the stamina drain.
I started playing mhw 5 days ago i started with the great sword, when i heard it was a beginner's trap i thought of changing it but fuck that all that matters is me being the big daddy.
I feel like the charge blade is really good but people look over the fact that you can charge the blade and the shield so that it can both be electricital
You are getting a lot of praise for this vid. And it's well deserved. I honestly can't remember watching a better videogame vid than this. You are the real MVP. Also, thank you for this.
Awesome! Thanks man. This video blew up on the exact same day as my last day of my job of 8 years (store closing), and it's cool to see everyone show there appreciation! I have a advanced tips & tricks video for MHW coming out tomorrow and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.
@@BoomstickGaming it's late, but I am starting now with mhw on pc and this video helped me a lot! Seeing as the game's weapons are well balanced it is good to know the strength and weaknesses of every weapon, while keeping the video enjoyable. thx :)
Hello other horn users are you tired of being told to support instead of just diving in with a full combo and knocking/breaking the monster? Because I am lol
I love how you used video references for each weapon to show similarities. I also like your graphical representation. Overall it was a solid video with great information. #been playing since 2007.
Rofl, I don't remember having it that tough in the first MH. A buddy of mine would just constantly headlock with a BDS while I just carved away at all of the other stuff with a GS.
+Clonos Freid It got a lot easier when I discovered how op the lance was to make coping with the shitty camera easier. The hitboxes were really wonky and small monsters were excessively obnoxious during most hunts. Combine this with the fact mh 1 was the first mh I've ever played and it was just pure rage every hunt
+TheArnoldification I get that. The monster that used to piss me off the most in MH1 other than the original Uragaan was the Plesioth and it's stupid hip checks. Other than that, you're right about lances and how OP they used to be.
@@davidreddinger2770 I bet the next game will have twice as much and bring back the arts. This game was an experiment to capcom. I'm sure it being the best selling capcom game will factor into the budget in the next game.
This video is great. I also love the fact that on every weapon's 'trailer' bit, the character s have different outfits that perfectly fit the weapon types; like the Kulu Ya Ku armor with the insect glaive.
I would say that the insect glaive has a bit more to it than riding the monster. I mean the whole insect part of the weapon is pretty significant. Also, aerial attacks do way less damage than some of the ground-based combos.
Saw a 16 min video, expected someone to ramble on and on, absolutely not what happened here. Awesome video packed with useful information from start to finish! Thanks!
You forget to mention that the Gunlance excels in breaking monster parts, potentially more so than any other weapons because its shelling attacks deal more raw damage that overcomes monsters' defenses. Other than that this video is hella awesome! I sent this to some newbie friends who are joining me later this week.
Mark Rothermel Noooooo. When you're fighting monsters, certain parts of them are breakable. Tails, claws, antennae, scales and so on. You want to break those to get a chance at more rare monster parts for upgrades.
Mark Rothermel XD totally cool. Not a problem. I hope you enjoy it if you pick it up. The rest of the series has a steep learning curvem this one still does but it's way more accessible. Just know you're gonna have to put some time in before it clicks.
Thank you thank you thank you! This breakdown is awesome, I am brand new to this series I bought it for my Xbox One X on Friday. I started out with the charge blade and yeah like you said in the video that was a rookie mistake (attacks were bouncing off like you said lol). I switched to the sword and shield which was great and now I’m trying to perfect the insect glaive (love that weapon). I was a little worried at first in the beginning but 14 game hours later and I can already tell I’m being sucked into this game. It’s challenging yet rewarding and there’s such a wide variety of options that it seemingly never gets old. I will recommend this video for all new players and the game to every person I know!
As a brand new player to this series, I found this to be very informative and resourceful. Thank you for taking the time to put this great video together for us. I think I speak for most beginners when I say we'll figure out the more advanced stuff later on our own. But, again, this is a great resource for beginners like myself who know absolutely nothing about this game. I've heard a lot of hype about this game, so I can't wait to experience it for myself. I'm taking a few days off from work just to play this (lol). I'll see you all out on the hunt very soon! (:
Mister Duck this is a very informative video about every weapon in the series. If you need any more in-depth information about specific weapons, another content creator, Gaijin Hunter has been making dozens of tutorials for every game in the series. You can also check the subreddit or kiranico. This game is a lot more forthright with information than previous games in the series, but there still may be some things left unsaid.
For the hunting horn: "You'll see your damage drop off whilst you play your songs" This isn't true, your songs and encores are also your most damaging attacks.
"Hunting Horn is a Support Weapon" As a Hunting Horn Connoisseur, I am T R I G G E R E D Every melody adds a certain spice not just for your allies, but also for yourself Pull the right strings and right melody buff choices, you gonna be a Monster's musician in their funeral
I snorted at the support weapon comment. Granted when looking at it the HH is the most supportive weapon because of the songs. I love playing supports and I love HH but the dmg is not to be underestimated. Its an all around great weapon for teamplay and criminally underplayed, being the least played weapon in the entire game.
Okay... I use both Great Sword and Hunting Horn. While playing with the Horn I also feel that this weapon has a reaaaally high potential damage, however I like to play Horn more when in groups than while playing solo. With the GS, however, I only play solo. Because I really love to kill and humiliate the monster. kkkkk
i dont like it because it looks dumb, like a big bagpipe wtf . I think a big flute or something with a sword or dagger on one end could have looked better and hence the weapon would be picked more.
I mained insect glaive all throughout mh4, I'm really happy with the changes they made because insect glaive for anything before highrank was almost unusable because of the kinsect evolve system. The insect glaive is focused all of the kinsect so if your struggling with the IG then try changing up your kinsect and see if you want a faster one, stronger one, longer range one, etc.
SnS isn't too bad for that either. The whole "Up ledges/off ledges" trick is very good in a lot of situations, and the new charging jump attack is consistently useful as well.

What you said at the ending is spot on, happened to me! Uninstalled the game after trying it for the first time with the great sword. Decided to try it again after a few days and chose a higher mobility weapon and it clicked. After a week I came back to the great sword and loved it!
i didnt think nioh was fast paced at all. Every enemy movement is easily telegraphed, only thing that was "fast paced" is your own combos and movement.
I am addicted to 3 weapons that are pretty different to each other. 1. Great sword - Just love the feel of this weapon, the damage, the force, and the fact you can stagger the monster with just one hit makes it feel amazing to me. I've also been a big fan of that, slow methodical playstyle. Being able to predict every move of your opponent and countering them with such heavy blows makes me love it even more. 2. Dual Blades - I've always liked of being the speed demon in the group (which some of you may find weird since I'm also in love with the slow GS). Being able to be highly aggressive, always in the front of the pack, dodging just in the nick of time and countering it accordingly thanks to the insane mobility this weapon offers makes it another favourite. 3. Bow - When it comes to ranged gameplay, I've always been the "in your face" type of guy when it comes to shooters, so naturally the bow is a great fit for me. There's also something so satisfying about finding the perfect spacing so the enemy's attacks land just in front of you, it just feels amazing to find that sweet spot.
Very well organized flow of information that combines easy to hear explanations paired with methodic and informative visual aids. Thank you for this. :)
Aaron Black I disagree. The flow of the video made no sense. It hopped around from one weapon to the next without any meaning. For example, he could've presented ranged weapons one after another, higher skill weapons presented at the end, or put support weapons together. Good info in the video, but poor organization.
spewaysealat I see your point, and I agree that those elements of organization could have made this even better. However I feel that these minor tweaks are unworthy of completely overshadowing the positive elements of the information presented in the video.
LOL that GreatSword table graph hahahaha. True though! Though I'd say those low graph is not when you're sheathing but when you missed landing those True Charges and wasting precious time. Great video, man.
As a great sword user myself, I found that to be really funny and true. My motto has always been "Always be sheathed... Unless you're laying down the pain"
I just started playing MHW a week ago and I immediately fell in love with the insect glaive. I really wanna try the hunting horn but I don't really understand it's mechanics yet
Good guide, this and a few other videos have given me a good idea of what I am going to use, I haven't played monster hunter since I was 12 back on PS2, times have changed a lot and I feel like a complete beginner again.
Just another advice, while it is good to main a weapon (in my case Greatsword) it is also good to learn the other weapons, you will find yourself in a situation where a monster may feel easier with different weapons
For everyone picking this video apart for "misinformation", please realize that some people like myself have been playing some iteration of Monster Hunter for over a decade. While thats plenty of time to experiment and discover the MYRIAD of nuance, variation, and potential of these weapons, I believe this is a good starting point that will steer new players in a direction to which they will figure those things out for themselves. This is not the end all, be all weapon guide. Remember that learning and progressing your own abilities in this franchise is part of its appeal.
R this video didn’t explain any of the conditions these weapons require at all. I played all weapons and speed ran the majority of monsters and played monster hunter since mh dos and literally the information that was given out here are the things anyone can pick up by just looking at the trailer
I mean, I'm new to MH, and I watched this videos exactly because I knew what none of the weapons were (except for the obvious basic ones). This video was intended for me, not you.
Started with the switch axe, moved to charge blade around low rank barroth and anjanath, then started playing insect glaive as a guilty pleasure weapon around HR 25. Now, bought iceborne and currently playing through with only insect glaive. Fell in love after taking down tempered Kirin with the deviljho insect glaive.
"Your damage drops off while performing songs" Not in the slightest. The motion values for the moves do so much damage if you ACTUALLY TRY to be useful. Don't just stand there playing notes while ignoring the monster. Pretty obvious a certain someone doesn't use the hunting horn.
I really appreciate this video. I only ever played MH3U and only ever found interest in the hunting horn. I sorta used the bow for a while but that’s it. With another console monster hunter coming out I knew I had to try the revamped weapons. This really did help me because my impatience and lack of knowledge towards the great sword when I tried it in the beta really annoyed me. In fact, for the first time I tried every weapon a couple of times. I also find your damage calculations really informative.
Hey! Someone else who's only played 3U! I thought I was gonna be one of the only ones lol! High-five! I found my love in the Dual Blades. Never looked back. (.>)
what most players dont know when you use a insec glaive. when you have your 3 kinsec buffs its better to fight on the ground instead of spinning in the air. ( and a sever boost kinsec helps cutting off tails )
I'm new for PC release and I have a feeling I'll be referencing this a good bit. Well put together video, you went all-out on information and descriptions. Thanks.
T.T That moment when you actually do the most damage while playing songs with the Hunting Horn (if you would slam the monster that is) Instead of a fall in damage, it would be a peak if you play a song with effects and hit him *playing the smallest violin in the world*
Maan as a new player I thought after watching this I would be able to choose what I want, but now I want it all cause it all looks awesome. Im few hours into the game and I love it already. Great video BTW. Very very informative and useful to new players.
I absolutely love how many Support videos for Monster Hunter World are flooding UA-cam to help out new players and get more interested! And every single one has something helpful to say. This, is how video games brings everyone together.
@@boldizzle Sure, but there are event quests that are only active now and will soon be unavailable until the summer festival. I think the english name of the quest is "A hunters dream" or something like that. Its the easiest way to get a great weapon... the best Greatsword that is currently in the game. ;)
Found the charge blade to be the best beginner weapon; the mechanic of charging the vials can be confusing at first, but a bit of time on the training grounds will be a good way to find out how that works, plus the charge blade has many similarities to other weapons which allows for an easier flow into other weapons. The charge blade is easy to use, but hard to master, and it's such a rewarding weapon to use...
Keep in mind though that the most important essense (i.e. red essense, collected from hitting monster's heads with kinsects) can be a real bitch to collect sometimes. It's way easier in this game because you can actually precisely aim now but keep in mind it requires good practice as well as patience to use on faster and smaller monsters. Very wprthwhile weapon to be good with though.
Charge blade is what convinced me to play monster hunter world. Didnt get it for a while till i played generations. Used the charge blade and only got better in MHW.

He’s so right. When I first started, I used the charge blade and for some reason just could not understand the combat. I started using dual blades, and since then I’ve had a lot of fun, and even revisited some of the slower weapons and had a lot of fun. It’s definitely important to find a weapon that suits you early on.
your first mistake was starting out with the charge blade

Dark souls has casuals? 😂
Reminds me of the time that my room mate laughed because bloodborne has a high plat rate. As in, a lot of players have gotten plat. He assumed that it was because it's an easy plat. NO. it's because soulsbourne players are DEDICATED.

Fred Mendenhall alright if this video helped you tell me the conditions and perks that the bows have.
Fred Mendenhall from experience this game doesn’t tell you what the perks for each weapon have and what conditions each weapon has and as far as I know this video didn’t go over any of that either
+Javier Rivera bruh if the video helped him it helped him lol how are you going to tell him if it did or didn't
As a somewhat proud wielder of the insect glaive, I can say that the wielders of the glaive can have an alternative role (one I play as). The De-buffer.

LAUGHS IN WACK-A-MOLE

I started Monster Hunter in 2004, and I’m Still Hunting!
It really does put things into perspective when they're described in such ways

The dual blades don’t use low damaging attacks to build up to their demon mode, like you described. Demon mode is always available. Using it drains stamina, but fills up a “demon gauge” with successful hits.
When the demon gauge is filled, you enter archdemon mode. In this mode you use your normal move set, but have access to some of your demon mode moves without the stamina drain.

+Clonos Freid It got a lot easier when I discovered how op the lance was to make coping with the shitty camera easier.
0ptimystic breaking monster parts as in making them unusable?
Mark Rothermel Noooooo. When you're fighting monsters, certain parts of them are breakable. Tails, claws, antennae, scales and so on. You want to break those to get a chance at more rare monster parts for upgrades.
0ptimystic alright thanks. I haven't played this game yet as you can tell.
Mark Rothermel XD totally cool. Not a problem. I hope you enjoy it if you pick it up. The rest of the series has a steep learning curvem this one still does but it's way more accessible. Just know you're gonna have to put some time in before it clicks.
0ptimystic yea that's what I figured. I tried the 3ds version and was lost but I wanna give it another try hah

Hunting horn song Recitals actually make up their hardest hitting attacks, so staying on the monster would be prefered to dooting in some corner
So...it is a support weapon.
Okay... I use both Great Sword and Hunting Horn. While playing with the Horn I also feel that this weapon has a reaaaally high potential damage, however I like to play Horn more when in groups than while playing solo.
With the GS, however, I only play solo. Because I really love to kill and humiliate the monster. kkkkk

I was waiting for the Insect Glaive, but you hit the nail on the head. Dragons dogma's mounting was fun as hell, and IG gave me a bit of that.

I mean, Nioh is very fast paced but...aight.
i didnt think nioh was fast paced at all. Every enemy movement is easily telegraphed, only thing that was "fast paced" is your own combos and movement.
Thanks so much I'm a beginner for this game this was greatly needed.
I'm brand new to the series and this guide has helped so much with getting an idea of what I'm getting into with each weapon type. Thank you
How has your journey into the series been?

Good call. Lol at all these people picking apart a graph with ZERO VALUES on it, rofl.

Now, bought iceborne and currently playing through with only insect glaive. Fell in love after taking down tempered Kirin with the deviljho insect glaive.
"Your damage drops off while performing songs"
Not in the slightest. The motion values for the moves do so much damage if you ACTUALLY TRY to be useful. Don't just stand there playing notes while ignoring the monster. Pretty obvious a certain someone doesn't use the hunting horn.
I scoffed when he said that
If you hit the monster while playing a song it actually does more damage than normal strikes

Bro to this day this is the best weapon breakdown ive found for MHW. Truly awesome stuff dude.
"Hunting Horn is a support weapon"
"For anyone who enjoys a support or healer role"
*Sadly doot doots
*laughs in self improvement and attack up (L)
*riffs on horn shaped like a guitar*
I need to get back into MH, my skills with a gunlance needs to be sharpened again.
Aye, bloodborne is my favorite game and switch axe is my main
Chris AlR Switch axe fam
I love Bloodborne to... but I am more of a Charged Blade person.
I have finished Bloodborne with hunter axe,Dark Souls 3 with Yhorm great machete and great axe,so :) .....i will probably choose axe or charge blade.
Never played Bloodborne but I love the Swaxe
Moon Wolf After 40hours I am playing with Hammer and Bow most of time.Fun and effective weapons.
what most players dont know when you use a insec glaive. when you have your 3 kinsec buffs its better to fight on the ground instead of spinning in the air. ( and a sever boost kinsec helps cutting off tails )
Hell. Yes. Infinite ground combo + double swing to the face finisher ftw

I'm late to the game, but this video is awesome and in depth. The comparisons to other games really helped me. Thanks for this high quality content!
Damage drop off while playing songs? No. Try damage spikes. The recitals and especially the encores are the horns strongest attacks.
They are, but when people want to successfully pull off their songs it's better to stay clear of the monster rather than chancing it up close.
if you can't play songs AND fight you should not be using the hunting horn.
That horn was the best weapon in the beta. I had a team mate who would sleep the monster around 4-5 times. Easy huge damage from barrel bombs
Great Jagras: *”Why u bully me?”*
PK Master Bc your weak and pathetic
@@etboss2002 Laugh in Greatest Jagras
"your on board for life" oooh boi this gave me the chills because thats what happened to me.
Just started playing and this has been the best video I watched on any game before playing to get a good start
I'm new for PC release and I have a feeling I'll be referencing this a good bit. Well put together video, you went all-out on information and descriptions. Thanks.
Not really, the information given in many weapons isn't accurate. I would reccomend looking for another review
I can't believe you have only 2.5k subs, your video is so high quality and you can see how mucch effort you put in! Great work keep it up
Well edited and incredibly useful video. This is good YT content.
Love the comparisons to other games/play types! Great video :)
Awesome video, you really break it down each weapon and how to use it, great job.
I do not play this game but i got stuck watching the whole video
T.T That moment when you actually do the most damage while playing songs with the Hunting Horn (if you would slam the monster that is)
Instead of a fall in damage, it would be a peak if you play a song with effects and hit him *playing the smallest violin in the world*
Maan as a new player I thought after watching this I would be able to choose what I want, but now I want it all cause it all looks awesome.
A really helpful video for new MH players like me, especially that reference to other games.
Christians Salim Good thing they included a training room too
I learned that Great Sword tip the hard way as a beginner yesterday. This video has been really helpful, thank you.
boldizzle You need to get the rocket powered greatsword as long as the event quest is still available. It’s still the best GS. ;)
@@ramigilneas9274 I'm still pretty new to the game, still trying to figure out what weapon combo I like but I am enjoying the game so far.
Thanks so much for posting, this was extremely helpful
The insect glaive looks really fun! Nice video for potential new players like me!
Firehead ive never played a MH game before but the insect glaive looks like the most fun for me. maybe the longsword or duel blades.
Good luck, happy hunting you two :) if ya'll ever need help, the Monster Hunter vets got you covered
Firehead I
Quite the informative effort was put into this video and after testing most of the weapons myself i couldn’t agree more with what this video states .
Charge blade is what convinced me to play monster hunter world. Didnt get it for a while till i played generations. Used the charge blade and only got better in MHW.
