Jason you are a brilliant gardener and one of the best hedge cutter I've ever seen, I don't agree with you that battery machines are the future, they definitely have their place in garden maintenance but they will never be as powerful as a petrol machine especially when cutting really thick hedges.

Always good to have a review of the tools used.
As a customer or neighbour I for sure appreciate less noise from a hedgecutter.

Good video Jason. Nice to see you on the battery cutters. I hope you find them good and save you money on the fuel. Laurel has to be one of the toughest shrubs to cut with the waxy leaves as well as being one of the most toxic garden shrubs.

Great job and a fine finish considering the lack of attention that hedge has had . When your machines are getting a bit older look out for the splinegear that runs the oscillator that's where mine started to fail on the job after I had done some particular heavy pruning . Not that petrol ones didn't get wear me tear issues its ,just that gear is particularly hard hit I think on electrical versions

But if your just starting out, be honest, a really good phone will get you started, then spend on gopro if you feel you want to go fever.

Battery does take some getting used too and I wasn't over confident, until I made the leap, which I don't regret at all, I do like my 2 stroke machines and continue to use in conjunction with the battery kit, but as petrol machine ware out, think will replace with battery over time.
I think petrol garden tools will go with the cars ect over time, if not, the tax on using them would be sky high and make them unprofitable.
