Although I have no use whatsoever for a machine like this, I do love watching your reviews. They are always very structured and all the necessary information is given.
Hi Jason, I just wanted to thank you for your stihl reviews. It's your informative reviews that finally persuaded me to make a move and go Stihl cordless. I couldn't stand the KM94R and other kit anymore, there's only so much my ears and body can stand. So, moved to the HSA100 hedge cutter, HLA135 long reach cutter, BGA86 blower and KMA135R to drive the RG-KM for mowing and weed control. It's changed the way I manage our home as a carer to a disabled mum who's going through a cancer fight yet again. So, both mum and I thank you for your reviews and guidance. I don't know if you've heard yet but Stihl are about to ship the new ASA20 cordless snips, so if ever you get the chance to review them, we'd love to hear what you think. The brushcutter you've reviewed sounds good. Would Stihl be interested in sending you the FSA200 for review? your thoughts would be a huge help there. I'm not sure if you've thought of trying this, but where either crazy paving or block paving with moss and weeds is concerned, nylon weed brushes from the likes of sitbrush and others, would that be something you'd be interested in trying out? Take care, keep up the amazing work and thank you for influencing my decision to go cordless. the AP300S batteries are a real game changer. trying to justify the AP500S battery. Something of interest I didn't know until recently. the AL500 and smaller chargers charge both AP and AK series batteries. I was worried about a 2nd charger for other batteries like the AK series but no, they charge on the same unit. phew.
Wow that's awesome, I'm really pleased you like the battery kit and feel you made the right decision, battery is sooo nice to use 👍, im looking forward to the asa20 being available 😀, the fsa200, well you never know 👍. I'm so sorry to hear about your mum, wishing her a speedy recovery ❤
@@jasongardener3425 ey up, just came across your reply and thank you so much, mum's really touched with this. She's gone through breast cancer twice in the space of 13 years, sadly now a third time but this time the care's so horrific they're not providing her with the treatment she needs. I'm not standing for it. It's just mum and I, no one else, but we manage. built of stronger stuff. Me being me, a woodworker and designer, I was thinking of some solutions to some stihl products and would love to present these ideas / concepts to Stihl. won't mention them here, you never know, someone might pinch my ideas lol
I won't agree. The line turns in the opposite direction than usual. Look at the blade that cuts off the excess line, it's on the right, not the left side. I thought it wouldn't get in the way, I was sorely mistaken. If you're taller than 175 cm, the machine is too short. Lack of power doesn't help. Only for small home gardens, not for a company.
Hi, do you think this could cut brambles, using a metal blade, or would that need a more powerful machine? I'm new to this, just recently got an overgrown allotment plot to clear.
Nice video Jason. Looks like a nice machine. I'm sure you would need a couple of batteries to handle a all day job, unless you keep a charger handy. Nice seeing you Jason in the swing of things. 😂
Cheers mate, iv not used it on grass that long, iv done foot high wet lush grass and no issues at all, would it do knee high grass, in all honesty I really don't know, it might, but would be seriously hard on the machine. 😊👍

Good review mate, I run the FSA 86, and I find they do a fantastic job
Cheers mate 👍, the fsa86 is a good trimmer, 👍

I've been using mine for 4 years 3 times a week. Never had an issue.
Thanks for the review, Jason

Hi Jason nice one looked a capable machine Thanks again
Thanks mate, it's surprisingly powerful for its size 👍
Useful review. What sort of strimmer head did you use?
I believe the strimmer head is the (autocut head) cheers mate 👍
Good showcase review
Thank you James, I try to get as much information in as possible, but also make sure you see all the things I would want to know as a end user too😊, 👍
スチールのトリマーは、デザインも性能も素晴らしいですね。
It's definitely a well designed machine 👍
Nice one , Jason , did you get to use it on really long grass (knee high length) and if so , how did it cope ? 👍🍺
Cheers mate, iv not used it on grass that long, iv done foot high wet lush grass and no issues at all, would it do knee high grass, in all honesty I really don't know, it might, but would be seriously hard on the machine.
😊👍
Left handed or right handed 😁
😅, I'm afraid just right handed as far as I know.
😊👍
i will stick with my petrol Husqvarna 525rx as it is light and strong enough.
@@zoba4645 that's fair enough, it's not necessarily for everyone 👍
