Hang in there, Weinke's! Here in metro ATL all is light right at the moment , but impending high winds in the early morning. Glad to meet the kitties! 😻
Thanks so much, Candace! It sounds like you will get some of this as well. Prayers for safety for you and your family! So far here, we have just had a little rain and some sunshine even! I guess the wind is coming later this afternoon and evening. ❤️🙏
I didn’t realize you had been through hurricanes, Carrie. so scary. It does sound like the hurricanes are getting stronger and stronger all the time. Don’t worry, we will be very careful and will stay safe. ❤️
The first hurricane is always a bit freaky because you don't know what to expect. The main thing you'll want to do is make sure that things like your patio furniture, hanging plants and potted plants, etc are put away so that they can't go flying or tip over. Also, make sure that you have your important papers together (birth certificates, marriage license, insurance papers, etc) in one place so that you can grab them if you need to leave in a hurry. It's good that you are preparing and thinking this stuff through. The storm will largely be to the east for us so we're not expecting much in our area at this point. I'll be thinking of you. Keep us posted!
Oh good, I’m glad you will be safe! I was wondering about you! Thanks for all the great tips! I’m definitely going to get some of our important papers together tonight just in case. I think we’ll be fine, but I like to plan for worst case scenario. 😊
Hi there! Wow, I hope you will be safe in Sarasota! I hear there will be some surge down that way. Are you near the ocean? Yes, we live about an hour inland from the ocean, so it looks like we will be fine. They keep saying there will be more wind coming later this afternoon, but so far so good. 🙏❤️
Oh wow,. I’m watching Sarasota on the news right now! It looks like a lot of flooding. I’m glad you’re not close to the storm surge Hope you are safe and well. ❤️🙏
Thanks for thinking of me. We lost power for an hour and a half and then it came back on. This has never happened before. Usually when you lose power during a storm it will take anywhere from days to weeks for restoration. We were very lucky no damage. We just have a lot of debris to clean up. Thanks again for thinking of me.
You definitely sound well prepared and I will be praying for you both to stay safe!
Thank you so much, Cheryl! We so appreciate the prayers. ❤️🙏

Thanks, Lorra! I’m glad things are OK so far in your neck of the woods. Hope all is well for you as the storm moves through! Take care!
You guys will be fine. Sounds like you are well prepared.
Thanks, Carol! I think we’re prepared. I got a lot of cooking done, so at least I won’t have to worry about what to eat for a while!
Stay safe! We are in Longwood so expecting 40 mph winds and some rain. Prayers for all and Georgia will get a lot of rain. Praying for the animals 🙏🏻

I've been through a lot of hurricanes having grown up in NC. But these new hurricanes have been stronger and more dangerous. Take care of yourselves.

What are you gonna do about Milton?
Hi there! Thanks for checking in on us. We just put out a vlog this morning telling about what we’re planning. ❤️🙏
I live in Sarasota so going through it with you. You should be fine I'm guessing you live inland like around Ocala somewhere. Stay safe.

I live a mile and a half east of the gulf. So, I'm o.k with the storm surge. Just hoping I won't lose power. Wind is getting stronger here. Stay safe.

does your rv have a generator?
Hi, Jay! No, we don’t have a generator. We may end up getting one in the future, though!
