Hi Debbie! I totally get where you’re coming from! We agree that the cruise lines are charging way too much for extras now. The reason we said “free” is because we’ve actually run into people on ships who thought they had to pay extra for the main dining rooms or buffet. Maybe it would be better to say “included in the cruise fare”. But we do agree with you! 😎

So far I haven’t found anything unless a person is already labeled as disabled. But I’m working on it. I love your list of things you are thankful for! I love cozy blankets as well. @@weinkeworldadventures Years ago, when my husband was temporarily confined to a wheelchair for 4 months his doctor gave him a form to get a temporary handicap placard for our car so that we could at least use handicap parking when I had to take him to various appts. We hadn't even asked for the placard, the doc just handed the filled out form to him - "Here. You'll need this" - for us (me) to take to DMV. There's probably a form that your doc needs to fill out that states that you are mobility challenged and require para transport service. I believe that you can qualify for the service even in temporary situations. I would imagine that these days the form can be submitted online.

Wow, I didn’t realize your husband was in a wheelchair for a period of time. I know how challenging that can be. I’m glad to hear he is doing better! What a great idea to get the. handicapped parking placard. I hadn’t even thought of that. I have had some good news on a ride. I should be able to get a ride on a county transit shuttle that is wheelchair accessible, but they do need the doctor to sign off on it. The good news is she’s going to let me go the first time without that, so I just need to get the application approved this next week and all should be well! So thanks for all of your help and ideas! ❤️🤗

@@weinkeworldadventures I'm so glad that the wheelchair accessible shuttle is going to work out for you. That is really great news! My husband broke every bone in both of his feet, including his ankles and heels plus ligament damage back when he was 40 something. We were told at the time that he would likely develop bad arthritis in his feet and would likely walk with a limp for the rest of his life. I was just so grateful that his feet took the impact and not his head. God healed him. He's now 60 and walks just fine. No limp, no arthritis. He can't run for much of a distance w/o his feet complaining but, then, neither can I. Praying for you and Ron.

Thank you so much, Carol. It has been quite a year for sure! I think I forgot to mention that on video, but Ron did find a used Ram truck almost exactly like his old truck that had a topper on it. It was just one year older, but had about the same mileage as his old truck. So he bought that, and is happy with it. We were glad the insurance company paid out very quickly. So that was definitely a blessing, and the fact that he didn’t get hurt in the accident. I don’t know what we would’ve done then. So God was looking out for him. ❤️🙏 And thanks for your care and concern about my health. I am praying that things will improve in this new year. I hope you have a wonderful new year! ❤️🙏

Hi there! The cozy blankets were free, and you just had to check them out similar to how you would do beach towels by the pool. They asked us to return them the next day, but you could always check them out again. They had plenty of blankets and they were so nice and cozy!
