    I think it would be helpful and interesting for you to say what you eat in a day. For example, yesterday I ate 12 oz of broccoli, one large onion, 4 oz of mushrooms, 4 oz of artichoke hearts, 3/4 of an ounce of olive oil, 3 oz Parmesan cheese, six small meatballs with tomato sauce, one Atkins protein no sugar bar, one cup of coffee, a half Pat of butter, a bit of whipped cream on top. This is actually what I ate. Listing it like this seems like it's Way too much. I ate all this within 2 hours and fasted (water only) for 22 hours.

      @darlinspaces Рік тому +4

      If you follow his recommendations, I dont think he recommends tomato sauce. I am subbing that out for garlic blended in a 3/4 C of corriander leaves and 1 C olive oil.

    Agree with comments, it would be great if we can get an idea of what you actually eat daily. It's tough to get all of your calories in when your main staple is veggies and greens since they have essentially zero calories. At the moment I eat either fish/coleslaw or eggs/veggies as my first meal(300-500cal), nuts(200-300cals), protein+veggies cooked in different ways with sweet potatos as a side(500-600cals) and 1 fruit(citrus, kiwi, berries)

    Man, I watch one Doc who says the carnivore diet is the ultimate diet, then the next Doc says oh no, don’t eat that way, you need to eat mostly plants, then the next Doc says keto is the best diet, and I’m just getting pretty frustrated and mixed up at this point. Now I’m starting to realize that there is NO perfect diet,that when followed, will give you great health . I think this is where the one ingredient which many, many, many, people are lacking, must be added to the diet and that is common sense. Seriously, it’s not near as hard as people make it. Eat real food, not too much of any of it, but a sensible, well balanced diet. Ya know, good quality meats, the right veggies and supplements where needed, and the occasional treat. Hard to believe how difficult people are making this and completely screwing up their lives!!!

    Hi Dr. Gundry. I have been following most of your recommendations as I am waiting for treatment for Chrons. Mine is mild and I have gone on a new journey eating more simple food and supplements. I know you know a lot because I lost 7 lbs very quickly this year due to malabsorption. Well in just one week of consuming goat yoghurt and wild blueberries along with major overhaul of no gluten or lecithin foods, I finally am putting on weight. I know there are people out there who wish they could look like their old selves again, have hope! It can work! I do not plan to take any drugs if I dont have to anyway. If I beat this, I will try to upload some videos about what worked. To anyone worrying about the food costs, yes some gluten free foods are very pricey! But if you get better, you are really doing yourself so many favours. I feel so much less stressed out now that some inflammation is down. God Bless

      Wow, fantastic news on the weight gain! I desperately trying to maintain my body weight, and if I'm not careful, it just falls off. I lost about a stone after covid, but with Dr Gundry's help have regained over half a stone. I'm making my own goat yoghurt, is yours homemade, and if so what recipe do you recommend? I live in England, so a lot of things that Dr Gundry allows aren't too available, or are very expensive. Congrats again.

    • @darlinspaces
      @darlinspaces Рік тому

      @@mog-gyveroneill2500 I actually used to try a raw goat milk and youghurt back in the states and saw very little improvements compared to organic pasturized brand here in Ontario, Canada. It is called Hewlitt and costs me about 3.89 for a weeks worth which I feel is fine. If you want to try this, I also still use chlorella which has plant protein and I do not have a reaction to it but it depends on your immune system. It literally improved my eye sight and I have the proof. Also one thing I am working on is changing the spices I cook with. It seems like chili peppers that are red affect me right away but when I cooked with green chilis from a can, just a very small amount, nothing happened if that even is possible. So maybe you can try this: I took local corriander, blended in a blender with olive oil and a clove of garlic and then cooked my vegetables in that. I used black beans per Dr. Perlmutter's recommendations. I just ordered L Glutamine from an online store and will see what happens when I start it. I would recommend making sure your Vitamin D is the right kind. For example, some are made from really strange things and you may not absorb it well. I used Natural Factors and it worked fine. But you need to take things like that with good fats so if you invest in anything, I would go with a real olive oil and not the ones that are crap BS with half olive oil and half something else. By the way, do you try to eat sweet potato or cassava? Most people should gain something from those foods because the body can take a sweet potato and use it as anything- a secret I learned from a smart Scientist friend. Your body can convert it to a protein if it needs to! Enjoy

    What’s the point of not enjoying healthy food so you can live 5y longer maybe . You still have to die it’s pointless. You have to focus your energy and life toward understanding the e distance and your relation to creator this is the whole purpose of every human being. We are blessed humans to be able to lift ourself to higher spiritual levels while animals can’t do that. This is the diffence between humans and animals. Self realization is.
    No need to obsess over food but we do need to watch not to eat bad stuff
