- In this video we modify our GQF cabinet incubator with a new plexiglass door and LED lights. Hopefully this will help us increase our hatch rates by not having to open the door as much.

Great info thanks 🙏🏼
Your welcome. Thanks for watching.
Awesome! How thick is the plexiglass?
This is 3/16 of an inch thick.
Looks great. Why the odd voltage? Using what you had on hand?
Yes using what I have on hand. I will be converting this incubator to 12 volts next year and 12 volt solar panels actually put out 18 volts. Most 12 volt led's can work from 10 vdc to 20 vdc.Plus we won't use the lights that much so the 9 volt batteries should last most of the hatching season. Thanks for watching.
@@HippieHillHomestead makes sense, good plan. Good luck
@@jerryrigsit5400 Thank you.
is that Mdf or Plywood
Hi Luis, it is plywood. This was an easy project and we am so glad we did it. It makes checking on things so much easier. Thanks for the question.
just buy sheet of Plexiglas for the door.
I priced a piece to fit this project and it was $162. I made this for nothing just used what I had laying around
