SUSCRITO gracias por explicar en este video, soy mexicano y no entiendo tu idioma, pero gracias a Dios si entiendo lo de la incubadora y los componentes.. bendiciones saludos cordiales de Cancún Quintana Roo México 🇲🇽
Thanks for sharing! I just got a few older cabinets and going through them all now. I just about have it sorted for now. I got old red 1202 and a Dickies and both work, turners included. I have a Brinsea OvaEasy 380 and the timer or switch is not working on the turner but it is absolutely rock solid 0.3° variation from top to bottom.
There are so many variables that it’s hard to say. Is it inside a heated building? Is it exposed to drafts? Are the vent holes all open? Check all electrical connections. Check the heating coil. Is the thermostat calling for heat all the time? Do you have a backup thermostat? Is the backup thermostat set too low? If it’s inside your house, no drafts, vents closed about 3/4, backup thermostat is all the way open, primary thermostat is calling for heat but the box wont heat up, I’d say the heating element or primary thermostat is bad. If the primary thermostat is not calling for heat when it should be, remove the backup thermostat. If The primary thermostat still doesn’t call for heat when it should, I’d say the primary thermostat is bad. These are just a couple ideas. Before you go replacing anything expensive make sure you are certain of the cause of the problem. I once had an old 1202 GQF that I upgraded to electronic thermostat from wafers. It worked fine on wafers. When I swapped in the brand new electronic thermostat the unit wouldn’t heat up. I sent the thermostat back to GQF. They tested it and said it was good. They couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t work. Willy, the head technician at GQF at the time, got so frustrated with it that he told me he couldn’t fix my problem. I put wafers back in it and it works fine to this day. These things can be finicky.
GFPRACING they both use a lot of the same parts, but I like the gqf latches better on these models. Newer models might be different than these. I am sure both of these units are a little old.
Since the motor is turning, the problem is either the linkage from the motor to the racks, or the contact switch. If it were me, I'd pop the top off the incubator and investigate what's going on in the back of the unit. GQF technical support could probably help you out too. I have had to call them in the past for help.
Hi after taking it apart and putting it back together motor is turning but it doesn't stop at the right position it'll set the first after that the second one would be a little off and third one would be almost at parallel position
Levi Ford it’s pretty straight forward on a GQF or Dickey’s cabinet. Make sure the unit is unplugged. Remove the wire guard protecting the element, though some models don’t have a guard. Unscrew the electrical connections on each end of the element and install the new element in the reverse order.
Ok thanks I’ve purchased a old David Bradley out of redwood not sure what they are worth but just wanted to get it fixed it didn’t have the heat coil on it so I wasn’t sure im gonna need insulators as well but I found a kit that will work I think
Hello sir i purchased a dickies incubator and my quesiton is how many wires hook up two the microswitch because mine has two but only one is hooked up my automátic turner does not work only works manually. Can you please give me an answer
Sitting here thinking of how MANY of us, your viewers, wish WE lived closer/next door to you!! ha You are so knowledegeable and informative!!
That’s kind of you. I’m glad you enjoy the videos.
Great videos on your incubators. We love the GQF cabinet incubators

Great info thanks 🙏🏼
Súper interesante siempre quise saber come están fabricados esas máquinas. Gracias por su aporte
Which of the two is the GQF incubator I just bought a used one and it is identical to the one you replaced the light is that the GQF model?
Yes.
Hey I just bought a similar setup. Can you make a video showing how to dial in the temperature using the two control screws. Thank you
If he doesn’t make the video, I will! Haha
Same here trying to figure which knob to turn
What model gqf is that? I have one like it and would like to know which model it is.
I sold the incubator a while back. I honestly don’t recall what model it was.
@@justtinkering6054 Ok. Thanks.
@@justtinkering6054 I'm pretty sure it is a 1266.
I need a egg turner motor and the little arm that connect with the rod that turns the trays
Check GQF website. They should have what you need.
My incubator won’t exceed 68 degrees it worked a couple months ago, what do you think might be the problem

@@justtinkering6054 ima try putting a new thermostat in, I’ll let you know if that’s it
if U were 2 buy 1 of those 2 Brands . Witch 1 . would it be ! , & . is 1 built better then the other

My gqf is not going over 75 degrees what could be the issue or what should i diagnose to find the problem
Does it have an electronic thermostat? If so, was it recently converted from wafer? Is there a backup wafer?
Hello
I just bought a used 1502 Sportsman automatic incubator but it only tilts to one side the egg tray racks on automatic position what could it be?

You should probably call GQF. I’d hate to give you any misinformation.
Can u tell me how to replace the heating element in an incubator

You may have a model that I am not familiar with. I would look for a wiring diagram online or call them for one.
My has 2 cords on it to
My incubator won’t go past 90 degrees how do make it increase
Is the thermostat regulating it to shut off or is the heating element energized all the time? Has the thermostat been replaced recently?
What model number is that incubator?
I don’t remember what model the Dickey’s unit was but I think the GQF was a model 1202.
Can u sand me the link the parts I got the same problem with my incbtor I need the same part.u just put n your s thanks
