I ordered one part and another showed up..then I realized I didn’t receive the wrong part, but rather a new superseded part! I explore the possibilities in this video and give you a first look at this strange new part! I have no clue why this part was revised this way, but let me know what you think in the comments! - Авто та транспорт
Crazy talk! Love it! Give me a Kawasaki Ultra 620x!!!!!
Jd, keep it on the down low, competition is watching 😂 just between us
I think that they could come with the H2 engine.at least the profile
Dayum, detective JD!
lol I freaked out I had been sent wrong part at first!
Amazing discovery!
Completely by accident!
Speaking of genuine parts, I need a new trim seal gasket on my ride plate
Think you nailed it with the turbo cooling....the first few numbers of the parts can refence the model....so if there different then we could be looking at an new up coming model.....im sure Kawi wont like the fact SD has 325hp ......if your familiar with there motorcycle history this will make sense.....
This! Kawasaki is not content to be in 2nd place with motorcycles! (ZX14!) I hope the same for the Original JetSki!
I am hoping Kawasaki just bypasses a new 310R variant and goes straight to a 350R or 400R... I would have no interest in upgrading from my 2022 310LX to a 310R. Now a 400R would be a different story.
Very very interesting 🤔
If I know Kawi, their heritage has always been to be the fastest and most powerful in everything they build, what does our friend Steve at Kawi Performance think🤙🤙🤙🤙
Steve is as stumped as me, but does not think this relates to a STX 310 as this pump would be too large. We agreed that more cooling capacity = potential for more horsepower so my guess is it’s gonna be something along those lines!
Dayum!
Perhaps a little something extra for the “R” trim line.
Maybe a 310T for turbo!
Hey is it possible for you to link where you purchased this housing from? I’m in Australia trying to source one for my 2018 Kawasaki ultra lx.
Hi.Sho Moto on eBay- they sell random Japanese Motorsports parts. I paid $300 shipped for the brand new housing
Can you please post a link where you got the pump?
No link, it’s a company called Hi.Sho Moto in Japan that sells random Japanese Motorsports parts on eBay!
Manufacturers don’t do anything for nothing, I think you are on to something 100%
Exactly..I am just speculating but definitely something is coming..what it is exactly we shall see!
Are you able to share the place you order the parts from? Also, what is the reason for the impeller/ casting replacement? I suspect it is out of tolerance, if so what were your findings? Any chance you are doing a video of how the replacement rebuilding goes?? Thanks for posting JD! Awesome discovery!
Yes I am actually building an entirely new pump with new impeller, all new parts and new housing- I am doing a tutorial on it- was in the process of filming that when I realized the new part has the extra port. Yea from
The saltwater my pump housing swelled- and when it swells it wears down the impeller..I could have run it another 50 hours but the clearance gap was at the end of the useable limit which means I’m losing speed cause of it..so figured time for new pump. Made it to 200 hours of hard use so fell like I got my money out of it!
Have a link to that supplier?
It’s a company called Hi.Sho MOTO that sells random Japanese powersports components on eBay
Kawi needs to build a larger engine to reach 200 hp for the NA models
Wao..so the new ultra is going to be 350??.
I am purely speculating, no definitive evidence. Knowing Kawasaki, I have a feeling they are gonna give SeaDoo a run for their money
Keep on the down low... competition is watching 😂
What sleuthing!
I thought their was a rumor of some parents on turbocharger
Those are not rumors, they are actually public patents from a few years ago - but this could be part of the implementation of that on a Jet Ski!
