Fantastic video. Great to see you both finally get out on a Cigarette. They are the best. I worked at Cigarette Racing Team in the 80's when they were still located on Powerboat Row in North Miami Beach. I was just a secretary, but have been on boats all my life growing up in Miami. My dad was an "unlimited" captain and learned a lot from him. They would always let me go out on sea trials with them during my lunch hour. Those 38' Top Guns would top out over a 100mph...and I loved every minute of those rides! Good times back then. You two put out the absolute best boating videos of anyone. I wish you all the best with your new Bering yacht. Thank-you for sharing the journey with us all. 💙

That’s the most amazing Cigarette that I’ve ever seen!!! The user friendly innovative features on this craft are over the top!!! This is definitely a cutting edge technology craft!!! I couldn’t help but notice that you could easily carry on conversations with the people in the second row and your voices were not distorted by wind and waves!!! This is the best sea trial that I’ve ever seen on this class of boats. Hats off to Cigarette and NautiStyles!!!

You should see the Cigarette Racing Thunder 52' is incredible. You should check out the Cigarette Racing Tirranna 59'. It's out of this world incredible. The Cabin is twice as big and a proper cabin for sleeping on vacation. I think you would enjoy checking it out.

Because the boat is a long 52 feet, you don’t get as much of a sensation of speed as you would with a shorter boat at the same speed. That boat’s a beauty, but with a price tag of over $3 million, I won’t be a Cigarette customer unless a lottery comes in for me.

      its horrible.
way to slow for all those engines
      and ugly.
integrated engines in the boat look so much better and perform better.
place 2 v16 engines or 2 V8 turbos in it and u go 180+ mph

@@Evil-La-Poopa waste of fuel(and one time cost). two or three engines would have been more then enough, there is such diminishing returns. hell it would probably go north of 35 knots with just one of these engines. big upside with outboards is interior space tho

As always Cigarette does an amazing job, beautiful boat and they thought of everything. The biggest Cigarette I was on was a 41 footer, it went a little faster but not near as comfortable of a ride. Back in the eighties Mercury Marine was making 750Hp from a 500 Cu. in. Chevy V-8 for offshore racing, so you usually had 2 or 3 in V bottoms and up to 4 in Super Cats like Popeyes. Getting 500Hp from outboards is amazing to me, Your 80 or so MPH run did bring back memories. Thanks for a great video as always.

Wow. I remember way back when in the olden days, Cigarette was about as high end as any one could go for fast boat life. They where fast and sleek and able to keep the speed up even in rough sea and waves and a dream boat for us young ones. Several decades later that dream was brought back to life now. watching this video. I can remember the sound of the Cigarettes and the rumble from the engines, as they passed us by and I used to tell myself that one day I will have a Cigarette of my own. Maybe it is time to do something about that dream?

Sadly the cartels have plenty of money to buy and modify any boat they want to use for their illegal activity.

I worked at Sportsman’s marina in the late 80’s as a teenager and I had the pleasure of working with a young kid who was one of the sons of the Cigarette Boat Companies owner. It was two or three years I knew/worked with him. They were extremely friendly people and they were always nice about sharing their toys with those around them. If i recall correctly they would have a different large Cigarette each summer and I think it would be one of their latest designs and sporting an amazing unique livery that would be featured in the magazine advertisements of that day. The kid I worked with was probably 14/15 or so in 1988/87. Love to reconnect somehow if anyone knows the family that owned it at that time. If I remember correctly they were not the original owners and may have just recently, at that time, bought the company. It’s also possible that I am not remembering correctly and maybe the father was an executive or management.

3,000 hp outboard, what a muscle boat, just crazy. Mecury Marine is in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Love them. Looks like this boat feels the need, the need for speed. The bow was a surprise for me, what a layout. Not my style, but if I ever bought this boat I think I would name it POWER TRIP.

The Mecury factory is right next to the highway, on the right as you are going North. Every summer we would go to the Wisconsin Northwoods for vacation and passing by this huge facility, with a long pond and fountains was a highlight of my childhood memories. So much tradition there, and now they are putting out so many great high tech outboards.

Beautiful Cigarette, and I LOVE how quiet the new Mercs are. I'd wager that boat could top 90 with different props, even if it didn't accelerate as fast. I also noticed very little bow rise or drop when you guys were changing speeds.
I would have liked to see a bit more chain for the anchor, it looked like there was about 20' of anchor chain? I'd like 50' for a boat that length and weight. I'll probably be the odd man out on this one but, too MUCH remote control can be a bad thing WHEN stuff gets wet and corroded. There's really no need for the backrests in the front, the wing doors or the cabin entrance to be powered. The hatch over the SeaKeeper could just have "lift assist struts" instead of a powered lift mechanism.

The super rich person that buys this boat don’t care about cost of maintenance. They want everything hydraulic to impress friends. Rich people don’t think in terms of practicality, they are more concerned with impressing others. They will probably own the boat for 1-2 years, get tired of it and get a new one.

really cool boat all the automation is cool but seems like it would be a nightmare when those things start to fail or malfunction , and at some point they will I guess if you can afford the boat you can afford the maintenance and repairs and doing 100 mph down the coast is sure to make you forget about the cost.
