- In this video I install code 5 lead ridge and saddle details to a torch on felt pitched roof. I split this process into two different videos as it was quite long. Please watch part one to see the first stage. I will also combine the two videos at a later date showing the complete process.

I've just found your channel, great videos, I'm gonna have a binge watch as I've found myself with some tricky lead work I've got to try get my head around.
Quality leadwork btw
Thank you and welcome to the channel. I hope the content can help with your project.
Your a class craftsman stu..
Thank you and thanks for watching.
Really neat work as usual Stuart. Beautiful job. 👌👌👌👌
Notice that you sound a bit out of breath dancing over the roof, take it a bit easier. It's not worth it.
Thanks for making the video and for taking the time to upload.
Thank you.
Yes I noticed that too. I suffer with asthma. When I get a bad cold it goes onto my chest.
Thanks for watching I really appreciate it.
interesting neat and tidy workmanship even have the sun out for you :)
Yes it makes a change here in the U.K.
it didn’t stay out for long though. I think after the day this video was filmed. It’s been raining ever since 🤦🏻♂️☔️☔️
such tidy workmanship. At the end of the video, you mention the Tyvek. Did you remove all the Tyvek ( as you mention it was just protecting bitumen from the patination oil ) ?
Thank you. Yes that’s correct. It was Just put in place to protect the bitumen and removed later on once the oil was dry.
Hi Stuart. Great work as always. Time for a new chalk line? 😅
Hi. I thought I better give you some new material.
Yes it’s really seen better days. But I can’t bring myself to say goodbye. It’s the best one I’ve ever had🤦🏻♂️😂
@@slbleadworks i half expected santa to bring you one 😅 i know what you mean. I have a drill i had as an apprentice. It hasnt worked in years but i cant bring myself to throw it away 🤦♂️😅😅😅. Yes keep the content coming please. I have used some minor leadworking to hopefully sort some damp issues recently. So thankyou. I followed you on instagram too and i tried to tag you on a architectural post. They used some of your footage to talk about lead roofing!
