For Mrs. Coach, I think she’ll like Sulfer and Dead Memories. For Mr. Coach, I recommend Surfacing and Metabolic. And when you’re ready to hear some very extreme songs from SlipKnot from their early years, I recommend Scissors and Iowa. This is a song about the evil of depression. Everything in between the chorus is the second voice of depression that many depressed if not all individuals carry in their heads when depressed. That second voice I’m mentioning is the language of turmoil, darkness and doubt. Corey’s singing in the place of being the evil one in depression throughout the entire song. The chorus is his epiphany and or awakening you could say. His lyrics are expressing his growth and strength of overcoming that depression and setting it free. In retrospect, the chorous is Corey telling that 2nd voice of evil in depression that I’m setting you free of all the trauma, hurt, shame and guilt that comes from you. You as in, the evil one of depression. “I’m setting you free”.
Good to know. They definitely have a unique way to get their message across. It's great entertainment that keeps you engaged.

They just kicked this fantastic drummer, Jay Weinberg, for "creative decisions" 😞 He's been with them for a decade and always been so professional and on top of the game. He was a huge fan of the band himself growing up. And they just booted him via a phone call like a week ago. Really sucks

Slipknot is acquired taste. It'll take time to acclimatise to those scary visuals, harsh vocals and heavy guitar riffs. But once you get used to it, you'll truly see the beauty in their videos and music.

Have either of you listened to Alice in Chains? Layne Staley was one of Corey Taylor’s (Slipknot singer) favorite singers. Highly recommend Would or Rooster. Also Love Hate Love live at The Moore is absolute perfection.

I think you should give a listen to Mudvayne. It would be intresting to watch, I would recommend to start with "World So Cold" or "Happy?".

@@CoachCastTVYeah, they have some really good songs and their Bass player is really good. They also wear costumes like spliknot, but on both songs I suggested they aren't wearing them, and I suggested the softest songs they have, but they have some pretty heavy songs.
