You're so right -- she can just kill any song a capella, but she and that band made a beautiful album, "It's Magic". With studio recording and editing, the balance is much better than here. A great song to react to with minimal accompaniment is her cover of the Adele song "A Million Years Ago", with a wonderful guitarist accompanying her. Also her recent "All I Ask", another Adele cover, has only a piano accompanist.

The answer to all your questions are simply answered when one considers that Angelina Jordan is one of the most gifted musicians To grace our confused little planet. I would pay serious money to see her live..if I could ask her to cover one song it would be “Hallelujah” 😍
You need to try her Summertime at Norway's got talent then follow it with one of her 1st original songs and music she wrote "Shield" it really shows her talent at the beginning and starting of her professional carrier an age difference of from 5 to about 12 years old.

Man you have a long road to follow my friend if you are going to follow Angelina she is approaching 140 UA-cam videos I hope you can find time to do house chores and get something to eat LOL most reactors make it through Maybe a half-dozen of Angelina's videos and they fizzle out it's too overwhelming for them I can't tell you how many reactors I've watched fizzle out
Gary, I think their subscriptions trail off, so they move on to another artist for subscriptions from their fan base & on & on. If a reactor hasn't reacted to Angelina in the last 6 months, I unsubscribe. If they come back to Angelina, then I can always re-subscribe.

It is amazing that she had enough lung power to sing this song at the end.

This performance was recorded from the audience with a portable video device, so balance between Angelina and the band was minimal. But she really belted this one out. Thanks for your reaction!
Great reaction DWG to the Angel of music. You may have missed this but, go back to her belting part at around 6:16 of the video and watch the band conductors reaction to her hitting those notes, he is completely shocked and amazed and turns to watch her. Amazing.

Angelina's fans have praised and loved her since she was a small child. She has an incredible history. She began singing at one and a half years old and by the age of three was listening to jazz and the classics on repeat, singing along and absorbing styles and techniques. She was a true prodigy.
Norwegian born Angelina won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8 years old singing Old Time classic songs that are unheard of in a child that age. She became the youngest ever winner of an international Got Talent Show!
Since that time, up to her present age of 15, she has recorded over 135 songs on UA-cam which you can find on Rusty shackleford's homepage on UA-cam. It is a chronological list beginning at age 6, her first time in the studio. List consists mostly of cover songs, and approximately half a dozen originals which are over the past year or two. It's not just about her voice, but the emotion and attitude she conveys through her music.

Why do we love and praise Angelina? It is because her soul is as pure as her Talent. She is humble, compassionate, and filled with empathy for her fellow man and for the world. Her stated goal from childhood was to sing for the world and spread love and peace to make the world better. How can you not love her?
When she was 6 years old, she was in the Middle East with her mom and grandmother and they came across a young orphan girl with no shoes and scarred feet. Angelina gave the girl her own shoes and promised she would never again wear shoes while performing until all children of the world had shoes! At age 9 she wrote a book about this experience, and became the youngest ever published author in Norway.
So again, how and why do we praise and love Angelina? It is self-evident. Reactors from all over the world have been following her for years and are now more than just reactors. They have become loving fans to support her as we do. You cannot follow Angelina without developing an emotional attachment.

Yeah, amazing. Great reaction. As you said, Angelina's voice is so powerful she can sing above the instruments, though the performance was filmed and recorded from the audience. In that regard, fourteen songs from this concert by AJ were similarly recorded by Boris Palenovski to whom we owe a debt of graditude for those and other perrformances of Angelina that he recorded, least we would not have the virtual experience of being there.

You missed seeing the band give her a standing ovation .. as well as all the audience members .. but it was led by the band. She blows everyone's mind with this one. As much as i live hearing her sing with just a guitar or just a piano, this band really pushed her into an amazing performance here. Totally totally love it!! Many of her stage performances are not the best recordings but thank God they were recorded at all !!! I see in the comments that Angelina Jordan Playlists by Fan left a link for her a cappella performance of "I'M A FOOL TO WANT YOU" at Norway's Got Talent that she performed after just turning 8 years old. I would like to suggest that before listening to it you should play Billie Holiday's version to get more perspective of what she is actually accomplishing. Sir, AJ was born at the 10th of January in the year of the Lord 2006 (LOL) christened by the name of Angelina Jordan Astar. AJ and the band rehearsed, rehearsed.......... You get it.
Now you know, the force is strong in this one. There is another version this she sings at a jazz festival. It’s just audio and pictures, the audio is straight from the mike, so you hear the nuances of what she’s doing. Why don’t you try a bit of country, she’s done Nothing Breaks Like a Heart.
Fun fact with that one, Mark Ronson himself gave her the backing track.

Also consider that it is recorded with an unprofessional microphone and away from the stage, in the audience, but if you are interested, this is the studio recording made with the same army orchestra, which accompanies her in that concert and with which she has also recorded her jazz CD "It's Magic". The sound is definitely cleaner, but seeing her sing live is still wonderful 😊 ❤️

Rehab is my favorite of the three, she "adjusts" the lyrics to make them age appropriate. It's really quite adorable.
