True, however Bruce played it live his own way and took very little from Steve. This gentleman is playing Bruce’s take on it. But Steve laid a great foundation.
Bruce is like a Paul Gilbert, underrated in part cuz they did so much shredding, which realistically was only of interest to the mainstream for a brief moment. It's mainly in the technique. Ace could be part of the pantheon of 70s guitar heroes like Frampton and Gilmour. He'd be counted along the greats if that era if Kiss weren't just struggling to get respect at the time... It's a touch less about the technique and a little more about feel. Both guitarists are tied for my favorite.

Suzie.q Popcorn123 I like all the KISS lineups. Tommy is a great player and replicates Ace’s playing very well. As much as Ace created much of the original KISS sound, which drew me to KISS in the first place, I like Bruce Kulick’s style the best. Having said that.....as much of a “fuck up” as Vinnie Vincent was (and still is), he was BY FAR the best guitar player in KISS. His songwriting talents would have added so much to KISS had he been more of a team player and had he realized KISS would always be Simmons & Stanley! Too bad, Vinnie wrote some awesome tunes, just check out the credits on the “Lick It Up” album for proof. And as many already know, the other guys in KISS didn’t add much to many of Vinnie’s songs on that album....it was truly Vinnie’s songwriting that was on display there. Watching and hearing you okay those licks as well as you did brought me right back. Bravo!!!!!!!! You're a talent. All the best and success to you!! Great job!!
