This is so good. Joe is literally the reason I picked up a guitar in the first place. His playing and phrasing is like no one else!! As others have stated, he has a very unique, sleazy sound that is very VERY hard to perfectly replicate!! You did Mr. Perry justice with this video!
I never quite realized what a mad man Joe Perry is until watching this tribute. His solos are insane, and incredibly difficult. He doesn't get enough credit when talking about rock guitar greats.
Doesn't sound like any or everyone else that plays guitar....That's amazingly difficult.....
I would say that a word bravo, you understand everything about Joe Perry, I'm a fan for over 40 years and your work is magnificent... 👏👏👏👏👏👌👍
I feel the same he’s a monster when it comes to writing riffs and bluesy tunes. He has something in his playing that is not very common. I can never get enough of his solos. Be it the tones or the notes.
@@AndrewWLugoYears of experience here i can play Mick Thompsons solos,Frusciante,Slash, Zappa etc… Trust me Joe’s Phrasing is weird as fuck in a good way, he has really unexpected timing and note choices. To me he is one of the most confusing guitar players to study.
The way he plays is more like a horn player rather than a guitar player. Technically not so confusing but the phrasing choices are weird.
@alpozturk5479 YES,...He is a very unusual player.
He has always had moments here and there in his playing that I thought were absolutely great, but overall,.he isn't my cup of tea as a lead player.
But as a guitarist and musician,..I still think his music, when you look at riffs and the entire scope of playing, along with fellow-guitarist Brad Whitford was very good and left a very important mark on the history of Rock music.
Perry's solos are so weird and out of the box, yet they are masterpieces!! Really hard to play it right, great job.
That's why I love the combination of Perry + Whitford
There's nothing better than the 3 minute solo from "Amazing". Perry Is God!
watching this makes you realize how underrated Perry and Whitford are. These Perry Solos are absolutely phenomenal.
Watching this man also makes me realize how little I know about playing guitar. He's replicated every little nuance that makes their playing (and any of the additional session musicians used) god-like.
Joe has his own style with a perfect blend of creativity and emotion....💯
So good!! His phrasing is so wild, that's why I love him. You did him justice :)
I’m so glad the amazing solo was at the end and that the beyond beautiful Solo was included as I think it’s never been gratified
Love in an Elevator teeth pickin was awesome! Such a great deep dive! Thank you for giving Joe the justice he deserves!
I love Living On the edge' solo... The simplicity/efficiency ratio is through the roof. Still gives me goosebumps today...
Thanks for this video… Perry is My favorite human being that ever touched a guitar
Great job man ! .. Joe Perry should be a national Treasure
Love Joe’s playing, dude’s solos are absolutely insane and so well-played and melodic. Great job, dude
15 minutes of pure enjoyment! Thank you so much for posting this and showing the world your talents. Joe Perry had such a unique style and tone and you've emulated it perfectly!
Cara, você é fera demais! Parabéns! Joe Perry é realmente sensacional!
My favorite. And the most underrated guitar player of all time.
An excellent overview of so many Perry highlights. Those solos on the later, more commercial Aerosmith tracks was really eye opening. Joe plays for the song and gives it just what it needs. One of the finest. And Brad Whitfield is no slouch either.
Excelente homenagem! Joe Perry é um verdadeiro ícone do Rock. Pra mim, é o George Harrison do Hard Rock! HAHAH Sempre faz o que a música pede! :)
Abraços do Rio de Janeiro!
Beyond beautiful is a very underrated song. Fantastic job bro! I really like that 🤟
Agree!, and I Love Just Push Play album! thanks!
Great job on this, your playing is amazing and you really show how good Joe Perry is at crafting a solo. Also, nice strat tones!
Cómo siempre Nacho sos el mejor 🎸
Whereas a lot of players stick with their main guitar of choice, I like the fact Joe mixes things up with the Les Paul and the Strat. He’s not really a fast legato type player, but really digs in hard and picks most of the notes. I guess there’s similarities with Richie Sambora in that sense but the phrasing is so different. Great playing here, you absolutely nailed it and the tones too.
A totally underrated guitar plyaer
You can tell listening to slash play that Joe perry was a huge influence on him
Awesome as usual
You are amazing
you are a great fellow. Keep it up. I'm waiting for something similar from you about the bands of the 80s
PerryGod !! 🤘🤘
These are so accurate. You’re awesome. Always love when you drop a new video.
great video
Amazing, una obra maestra de solo. Muy bien tocados todos, por cierto 🙂
Awesome job Brother! Great solos, and great pickin! You did them all with perfection!
excellent job Dude - Respect !!!
Perfeito
Great tribute and playing!! Joe Perry is my favorite guitarist since I was 12 (36 now). It is really hard to play like him you did great! It would be nice to see a tribute for Brad Whitford or some deep cut gems from them!
Awesome 👍
Wooow gracias x esta recorrida!!!
Hard to pick a favourite from this lot - they’re all brilliant. Another Perry solo I love is from Alice Cooper’s House Of Fire. It’s only a short solo but packs a punch!
Tribute to Ace Frehley II It's on my list of future tributes pending, will be for sure
Dude… incredible job! Seriously!
Outstanding!
Great job once again brother!! Another of one of my favorites!
My man, always is nice to receive a comment from the man himself Remy Hansen, guitar jedi master ;)
Dude, incredible job you’ve done. Thanks for giving Joe justice as one of the most incredible players ever! Much harder to play than technical stuff in many ways.
Amazing job, well done!
Hermoso, lot of people may remember old lovers with these solos. I had different girl friends for some of those. Overall, great job.
👏👏👏 Superb Job!!!
BadAss!!!!!
Awesome !!!
Tremendo.
Dude! You’re not too shabby yourself!
Que notable!!! Un maestro. 👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽
Just bought my first electric guitar, a Les Paul, i hope i can learn these solos ❤
tremendo trabajo te dejo un likeazooo!!!!
Very cool. Really makes you see how amazing some of his work was, as well as what an amazing guitarist you are.
nice perf bro
Great job !!
Enjoyed that. Super playing - my only qualm was the recency bias which means that solo's like Mama Kin got missed. Great job though
Fantastic job.
Tasty bro, good job! 👍🏻
Excelente 👏👏👏
Perfecto
Nice work man 🤘🏼🖤🇧🇷
Your playing is awesome
100% like
Incredible work, thanks. I suggest a video with Kee ou Norum. Great job man!!!!!
I have for years a list of my favorite guitar players and future tribute videos, only Kee is on that list...
Great skill, watching the video makes me want to pick up a guitar again
Excelente video….
His solos look physically difficult.
What are your gears? Sounds really great
Saludos!!
❤️🤘🤘💪👍
Que efeitos usou na Amazing? Ou que pedaleira usou? Vlw
Dude, please make a video of the band Ghost's solos. They have a very good guitar, with some top solos!
They are not on my list...
First riff and solo is what Slash is all about.. actually he was well open to admit to copying and developing his style off of Perry.
I actually prefer this type of more adventurous playing, rather than the sweep picking, technical thing that has ll of the passion of differential calculus
It’s called soul.
@@Justin-pq3rq Damn straight!
