Bruce was, by far, the best guitarist in KISS.
Just like Mick Taylor in the Stones was their best guitarist!
Wrong Ace is
@@kimberlypotts5014Ace was the coolest. But not the best.
Bruce will always be my favorite Kiss guitarist.
Tears are falling is EASILY my favorite KISS song of all time, and that solo in the "rain" will always be my favorite guitar solo of all time. 🙂👍
Bruce is such a lovely guy.
All good guitar players, of course. But Bruce was.... and still is... the best guitarist KISS had. Period.
Absolutely! 🤘🎸
I’ve been sick and tired of original kiss for many years! Bruce and Eric Carr are by far the most talented Kiss members ever! Yes I would take Bruce over Vinny Vincent. He is. Bad ass though…
Yep.
Defo. Hundred percent. Bruce's back up band as Paul said🤣
No disrespect to Tommy, he is a Warrior and good all around dude. Bruce had a style that fit the band perfectly during the 80's. Vinny was trash🤘🏻
Bruce always holds the song down musically while everyone else is posing.
I have to be careful to not turn this into a disrespectful comment re Thayer etc so I will just say the BK is easily the most respectable person on stage and with huge bucketloads of talent. What an incredible musician and person. 👍
The Tears Are Falling solo is one of my favorites ever. Love Tommy but he can't come close to play that with the perfection Bruce plays it
Bruce tearing it up ! No disrespect to Tommy but I love Bruce’s playing !
Bruce blows Tommy off the stage, not in the same level
I was waiting to see if Gene had a tupe or not . Windy.
Bruce was by far The greatest guitarist to play for KISS!
Bruce is top notch as always! Love this song and album. Bruce Kulick is my fave of all the KISS guitarists. He just has the perfect balance of everything.
I'd say Eric Carr is the best thing that ever happened to KISS. Eric Carr and Bruce Kulick in KISS was pure magic!.
Eric Carr is really amazing as a drummer, then you get the bonus of amazing vocalizations
You know the Wicked Binge series, Good to Evil? I paid tribute to that. This is KISS members good to evil:
*most good* Eric Carr
Bruce Kulick
Ace Frehley
Mark St John
Peter Criss
Vinnie Vincent
Eric Singer
Tommy Thayer
Gene Simmons
*most evil* Paul Stanley
Absolutely! 🤘
I will say that Eric Carr was the most educated musician to ever play in kiss. He actually brought their sound up a notch or two. But my favorite is still rock and roll over
@@davidmcaninch4714none of the members are evil. They are all great people
Finaly, Tears Are Falling got correctly played solo, right how it should sound like!!!
That is such a great solo I feel is one of Bruce’s best!
Honestly, he played the solo pretty good, but it still wasn't the "correct way" like it was in the 1980s/1990s.
@@austinlallison not only is it a hard solo to play especially the wide stretch section, but also that was over 35 years ago. Dude is a lot older, but still as Professional as it gets, Cheers Bruce.
Yeah. Tommy plays it well but he completely forgets the second part right before the chorus
@@The_Original_Alex_Channel well bare in mind tommy isn’t a shredder like Bruce he takes more after ace but still does a good job. He tries
This makes me very happy. Bruce was always my favorite guitarist in KISS.
Oh man this made me almost cry man Bruce Kulick was my favorite guitar player in KISS period and the most talented guitar player KISS ever had hands down! I miss Bruce in KISS when they announced a reunion tour I got so pissed off but I thought maybe only a couple years then Bruce and Eric will be back but dam they still screwed Bruce over but atleast Eric got to come back he's a badass on the drums PLUS he has to sing with Paul all the time because Paul's voice is frig'in SHOT!
agree with everything you said. Miss Bruce in kiss so bad 😔😔
BK was the best thing to ever happen to this band. Hands down, the most talented musician to ever step onto a KISS Stage.
Lovely see BK again
And Eric Carr
1000000% agree with you. What a shame he didn't go straight back into kiss, but it's the music business
LMFAO.
Seems I once read in an article or heard Paul Stanley say during an interview that Mark St. John and Vinnie Vincent were among the two most technical guitar players in KISS, however they just never quite “fit” in with the band and the direction Paul and Gene wanted to go. Regardless, BK is easily my favorite (Still remember rocking out to a KISS REVENGE cassette back when I was 11 / 12 years old) and imo he doesn’t get the credit and respect he deserves in the guitar community.
As always Bruce is doing the job. Great solo.
That solo is is the main reason why I started to play guitar
When you hear Bruce you know it's Bruce without needing to see it
Two of my favorite KISS songs, and my favorite KISS guitar player!
Bruce and Bob kulick never get enough credit for what they've done in kiss
Yeah so good to see! Loved the era from Creatures to Revenge, Bruce really fit the MTV era of Kiss.
One of the best KISS guitar solos. Bruce aced it here.
Liked Bruce's work. Really enjoy "Carnival Of Souls." Very underrated album by KISS.
Bruce really blossomed the more he got to be himself and stopped listening to Paul Stanley telling him to play like Eddie an Halen cause it’s what was trendy. And Bruce comes up w I walk alone ,similar to me how Ace has his personality in shock me. Which Tommy never 👎 did. He is just told to play like the spaceman
@@reubensane5539 Yes, Tommy is a statue. I'm sure he's good but you can tell he does what he is told.
bruce is the best kiss ever had. they should have kept him on tbh. they would have been even BIGGER had they kept going with him. he gave them that clean RICH sound they were sometimes lacking. he was the brian may of kiss lol
I agree. And the combo of Bruce and Eric was killer!
Epic track, still sounding great and one of Bruce Kulick’s greatest solo’s!
I have to go on a KISS KRUISE...only if Bruce Kulick joins them again, man that was too cool...brought back many good memories.
Bruce has to be my second kiss guitarist. I love what he gave to the band.
Bruce adds the magic back into those songs. 2nd favorite kiss gutairist
Excellent playing by Bruce! 🤘🏻
Bruce is amazing as always. Paul sounds REALLY good here. Really wish I would have went to one of these Kruises. One of my life's regrets.
He's lipsyncing. It's pretty obvious. And the backing tracks made their debut in 2018 or so.
@@ErnestSewellHe's not lip synching, There is a a guide track but he IS singing..Also, who fucking cares??? You try singing at his level for 50 plus years and try singing at age 70 what you recorded in your 20s and 30s.
Bruce Kulick, Vinnie Vincent and Eric Carr. Best things to happen to Kiss
I love KISS so much. Since I was 5 years old when my big brother gave me his copy of Rock and Roll Over they have been my favorite band.
Tommy and Bruce playing together. . . perfect semi-reunion!
5:47 You can tell that Paul was absolutely dumbfounded by Bruce’s performance here. Probably took him back to the good old days too.
It’s too bad that they didn’t play “King Of The Mountain” and “Who Wants To Be Lonely”, but Bruce’s band probably played those. I think “Asylum” is one of the best Kiss albums. I just wish it was remastered with a little less mid range and more bass. I find when I crank it up, it gets harsh on speakers.
They couldn't do those songs because those songs are not recorded for Paul's mimicked vocals. Not meant as a snide remark, but it's just what it is.
@@rw6616 same here
No SHIT and REVENGE is a great album but ASYLUM is my top also Paul's voice just can't handle it anymore his voice is shot Eric has to sing with him if you noticed he sang with him on tears are falling on this video to make songs sound decent at best!
As always a salute to Mike brunn bringing the good stuff , love seeing Bruce electric with the guys!
I immensely enjoy listening to Carnival of Souls simply for the reason that besides being a kick-@sss album (and the band's heaviest), it has BK's footprint all over it, including a wicked bass line on "Jungle".
Carnival of Souls is a fantastic album.
I really like Eric's simple drum set...a great drummer 💯
Gene and Paul have told him to tame it down to sound more like Peter. We know what he can do
It seems like he’s enjoying it too!
@@frankkaplan69?
Funny how one is reminded of how fucking awesome the revenge lineup was. Bruce just mops the floor with Tommy Banana
Bruce is great. Doesn`t go overboard. No pun intended
:46 "Look at that thing, that guitar is gorgeous!" :)
I just love the sounds of Bruce warming up.
I met bruce once and he was so nice in person.Such a down to earth guy who loves the fans.First time i saw bruce play live was on the kiss Animalize tour.Bruce played the first time at Stabler Arena, in Bethlehem Pennsylvania with Gene, Paul and the late great Eric Carr.RIP Eric.Eric Carr was one hell of a drummer.Kiss forever!!!👍✌❤
Yea Eric Carr was special he loved the fans also Eric Carr, Eric Singer and Bruce Kulick were fan favorites because they are not snobby towards fans like Gene and Paul but the attention Gene and Paul get I guess they get tired of it and have to be rude I guess!
I met Bruce and Eric Carr together in the 80s 2 x and both times it was at 2 different Yngwie shows . They must of loved him at the time . One was at L’Amours in Brooklyn and the other time was not too long after at the Beacon theater in NYC…In fact I had Eric Carr sign the back of my yngwie poster. It’s odd collectors memorabilia to have a Carr signature on an yngwie poster but it was all I had at the moment lol . And funny when I told Bruce what a big kiss fan I am ,I happen to coincidently be wearing an ace pin,it was just aces face lol I kinda felt bad for a second lol
@@reubensane5539 Yeah, sometimes you got to find something for them to sign.At least you got to meet him and get his signature.👍👍✌
Seen Bruce with Grand Funk down in Iowa..very good guitar player!!!
I love that solo. And Bruce just nails it. Every single time! Nice upload Mike..Thanks! Wish I could been there.
Nobody can play that solo like Bruce. I think Tommy is good at what he does, but he cannot nail the solo like Bruce can.
He didn't actually nail it, he entered into it awkwardly. He recovered, but he certainly did not nail it.
@@jms980 Really man. Always have to be people on the internet that has to be a anal troll. So what. I am sure the people there did not mind.
@@jms980 If anything it's because he isn't used to playing an Explorer, it would feel a lot different in comparison to his usual ESP's
So nice the Revenge line up let one of there biggest fans strum along with them
Bruce is my favourite Kiss guitarist....
Great music great band!!
eric and bruce + old kiss = best kiss
Bruce the best of the best! KISS's best guitar player ever.
Can't argue with that
Tommy should've taken a break let Bruce tear it up!!
1:16 Were hoping that Bruce doesn't fire us 😂
Animalise was the first n only Kiss album I ever bought. Not sure if I just couldn't relate to them with their make up or because I liked Bruce better than the other guitarists but this is Kiss for me. His tone and style fit so well . Great songs to boot. It was definitely a little different.
Yes, but "Animalize" was Mark St. John's album. Bruce only put his footprint down on the the next album, "Asylum."
If you want a great Bruce KISS album and only want to buy one - buy "Revenge."
Man they have killer back ground in vocals always in tune.
Tears are falling is one of my favorite songs thanks for posting this
Outstanding , wish I was there!
It's a damn shame we didn't see something like this on the final show. All the surviving members getting up for one last jam. What a wasted opportunity.
For us that can't make it, I say thank you Mike,
Good to see the best lead guitar they've ever had back on stage with them!
I love Peter and Ace but I'm going to be honest Eric Carr and Bruce Kulick did Ace and Peter justice. They just brought a new type of energy to Kiss that was refreshing.
I love to see Kiss playing these songs unmasked with no special effects.
Still sounds heavy 🥁🎸🇬🇧🇨🇦🇺🇸
Eric Singer is holding tight on backing vocals 🤘🤘
I was just gonna say something like that. Paul is kinda struggling....Eric definitely is helping out a lot. Very cool to see Bruce play with them again.
Basically main vocals... Paul's not even singing the choruses really
Very respectful of Tommy to skip adding vocals during the last chorus because he would’ve prompted Bruce to move during his solo - Joe Perry wishes he had a bandmate like that
Bruce my fav guitarist for kiss hands down
I've never been fan of eric singer drumming style... but glad he has always been for the band
I Love Ace, I love Thommy but for me, Bruce is the best kiss guitarrist ever...
Vinnie Vincent way better
Bruce is most certainly the greatest ever. He should still be there.
@@juniorthornton3819 Vinnie actually was a fantastic guitarist. Too bad he had too much ego that influenced his decision making.
I’m a guitarist myself and to be honest in the beginning I wasn’t terribly impressed w Bruce after Ace who is iconic no matter how technical he played ,same with Angus Young ,Angus can’t play as technically proficient as Steve Vai,but more people are effected by Ace ,Angus and David Gilmore (same thing. Cause it touches their hearts .
Then you had shred wizards & at that time I got caught up in that too . Eddie changed the game ,Randy followed and not long after trying to learn that I was playing Vivian Campbell from Dio & this was all before Yngwie blew our minds. Lol
So I welcomed a new current guitarist and was digging Vinnie and Mark .
I went to go see Animalize expecting Mark to come out and Bruce is standing there like a tree lol & I’m like who da h*ll is this guy?!? lol no one told us. And I was disappointed Mark wasn’t going to play.
At first I thought Bruce wasn’t as good as Mark St John. They made Bruce try to play as current as possible to try to copy EVH as much as possible and gave us no no no and boomerang . Some people like those songs but I thought it was cheese. Bad Eddie wanna be playing.
But let me tell you ,over the years I absolutely LOVE Bruce!!!! After the band got over telling him to play like EVH he really came to his own. His solos in the 80s now when I hear back are so catchy and eternal! They got So classic sounding…
Then I remember being impressed when I heard him solo on Unholy. . He was coming to his own playing by Revenge. He’s great on that album…And on carnival he shines too ,he was growing….
Sadly it was cut too short w kiss .
His song I walk alone to me is like How Ace had shock me, you’re showing us who you are .and
Tommy nice guy but doesn’t know who he is ,lolall he does is try to be a second rate homogenized spaceman . Tommy imo doesn’t have a strong personality of his own in his playing.
Lastly about Bruce. His music contribution I think over the year just gets better like fine wine.
He was always a classic rock bluesy type player and he is actually always getting better. And from spending time with him personally i can tell you his kindness is as amazing as his talent. He’s such a great guy. And now he’s been living in Vegas where I live ,so I’m happy to hopefully see more of him. Rock on people sorry so long lol
@@juniorthornton3819 he may have been good but he could scratch Bruce's ass if he were a wildcat! Lmao but his ego is what ruined him hell you couldn't fit his ego on that ship!
Thanks so much for posting. They all sound great. Again, thanks!
Beautiful!!! Paul sounds great and awesome seeing Bruce in there 🤘🏻
@74 torino Actually he’s not. He would sound a lot better if he was. He sounds just fine though
It's an older vocal he's lip syncing to, bruh.
You have to feel for Tommy, and a little for Eric in having to be part of a band that you for the most part were not apart of when these records were recorded and toured. They both do a great job with playing decades worth of music that they were not in the band for. I hope both Tommy and Eric do something original when KISS finally stops as a band.
Unfortunately, Tommy Thayer only knows how to KISS ass and copy other people’s playing …. Eric is decent
BK is amazing. Tommy actually does a great job when Paul allows him too. Not Tommy’s fault that his talents are trapped in a narrow confines.
8:25 That solo sounds awesome with Bruce and Tommy harmonizing!
2:28 2:50 Eric Singer doing just like Eric Carr and singing harmony!!!
i love the band kiss
Such a trip think they’re in the middle of the ocean well not the middle but you know what I’m saying they’re floating on water playing a concert on a boat unbelievable kind of cool very cool
Not one comment on how much better Paul is sounding?????,he seems to have regained some of his control and isn’t just warbling,I am glad to hear it,rock on Paul Stanley 🤘🏻
Lip synch goon
Bruce is back ♡ yeah!
I love this music!!!
The solo the best one Bruce ever wrote ft this band.
Paul must be VERY confident in the glue on that little hat he's wearing 🤣🤣😂😂
you boys nailed this BK that was like studio note for note
Love these songs
Thanks so much for this. KISS4EVER4ME.
"Hey that guys wearing a sailor hat lol That's fitting...Oh KISS NAVY?!? You better wear that "!! HAHA
Thank you Mike!!!!!!!
Simmons, Stanley, Singer, Kulick. The best musical line up KISS ever had.
No. That was Simmons, Stanley, Kulick and Carr.
increible los quiero en una en lima 2022 !!!!
GREAT TO HEAR pAUL SING THESE OLDER SONGS AGAIN XOXO
Well, it's an older vocal track, so you probably recognize it.
What a fun to watch
Best guitarist they ever had
Can’t figure out why Tommy takes so much crap. I’ve met him when I opened for Kiss in 2010 they & their entire crew was actually great & very accommodating. Very good guitarist has a good head on his shoulders.
The guy is an impostor he always wanted to fill ace's shoes he's just a fan..... he should of made his own band or own makeup or what ever. He decided to steal Ace's gig.
Has a bobblehead on his shoulders lol. But he seems like a good dude. Mediocre guitarist, but no need for more in this gig.
Tommy is fantastic! By far better than Ace freely ever could be! Tommy earned his place in the band thanks to Ace not being coherent and present. It was Tommy that had to re-train Ace when he came back for the reunion money grab. His dedication paid off 😎
@@slottygw2wvw842 you are wrong. Kiss owns the characters, Tommy is doing a great job! Tommy has more time playing with Kiss than Ace. Better player and person.
@@KevinCook370 tommy is a goofball bruce is the best kiss ever had. Ace had swag 70's 80's
This is awesome..thank you for sharing
Beautiful Explorer he's playing.
Bruce could play circles around those guys.
Tommy and Bruce should have harmonized together on the solo! That would have been awesome!
They did on both solos, it’s kinda hard to hear though.
Tommy goes “ oh shit “ it’s Bruce 😂😂😂😂
😂😂
Thanks for posting this !
3:55 Finally! A live solo with Harmonies. I’ve noticed Kiss doesn’t like overdub pedals, and for good reason. But with Tommy here to back up Kulick and provide harmony, it sounds just like the studio version. Tommy could’ve used a little more volume, though.
I wish he would have played the whole solo with Bruce and louder volume. He only played one part and it's hard to hear
@@The_Original_Alex_Channel Yeah. But it’s still better than no harmony live versions that they normally do.
@@gmansgnarlyscienceshow2820 yeah that's true!
Sounded great
AWESOME!!! THANKS
Solid version of this tune. 🤘🏻 Always liked this song better live ........
Tommy even shivers when the original Tears Are Falling solo is present 😂
Because he can't play it lol.
no he didn't. He reminded Bruce how to play it like he did to Ace with his solos.
@@Draggo-zp1jf I don't think so
@@Draggo-zp1jf one thing is remind ACE the solos and another is pretending be the real SPACEMAN
@@Draggo-zp1jf -- Well, that's not exactly true. Bruce keeps in touch with his KISS solos.
