I was a vegetarian for 6 years and Coleman put me on his ribs and it was life changing! I’ll never touch another vegetable again ❤
LOL! My daughter became a vegan after growing up with my cooking….where did I go wrong? Thanks for watching my friend.
I hope you are joking 🙃
@@GrillinandChillinwithColemannow if your recipe changes a vegetarian then you know it's an amazing recipe
@@123onygamer6 that is my goal!
I was a pig, and I want my ribs back
Daughter asked me to do some ribs this summer, but we don't own a smoker yet, so this video was perfect! You've done fathers everywhere a service for years to come
Glad I could help. LOL. Let me know how they turn out.
I made my first ribs after watching this video and they were BOMB. You've made my family and my belly very happy Coleman 👍
That is so awesome. I love hearing things like this. Thank you for watching my friend.
Careful dont use the B word NSA is watching
I’ve tried doing ribs 2x now while watching and rewatching the video. My family says the resulting ribs changed their lives….(right behind Jesus)…
Thank you.
I followed your technique and the ribs came out amazing! The part with the butter in the foil made the ribs unbelievably tender. It was hard to even pick them up from the grill at the end because the meat was so soft! One guest complimented me, saying these are the best ribs she's ever had! Everyone enjoyed themselves, thank you for taking the time to explain everything in detail!
I am so glad I could help my friend. Some people don't like their ribs that may, but that is how I like them. I love hearing things like this.
Hi Coleman. Today I made the BEST Baby Back ribs and I have you to thank. I watched your video 3 times to ensure I didn't miss a step. Thanks for sharing your wisdom.
John, I just love hearing things like this. Thank you very much fi-or watching and I am so glad I could help. What are you going to try next?

Coleman, I so much appreciate that you keep things simple and practical. Ribs have become my favorite for Sunday games with my son and his college mates. This one is going to be my best ever. Thank you for sharing your time and talents.
You are welcome my friend. I have to say, ribs are my favorite as well. I get asked all the time to film a brisket video, but honestly, I don’t like brisket. Don’t tell anyone….they could take my TX membership away for saying that. LOL. I appreciate you watching.
Ribs look very tasty
It's been a year and 2 days.. still fresh, still new! I learned something new today. I love it! My daughter's new in-laws will thank you! As do I! Thank you so much!
That is so Awesome! Thank you for sticking around my friend. Let me know how the ribs turn out.
Coleman, came across your video the other day after my latest failed attempt at grilling ribs. I followed your steps and the ribs turned out great. Even my wife, who's not easy to please, said the ribs tasted delicious. This will now be my go-to recipe to grill ribs. You got me to subscribe to your channel and looking forward to many more grilling tips from you.
Thank you my friend. The same thing happened to my father. He did not like ribs until I made them this way for him, now he won't stop asking for them. Glad I could help my friend and thanks for subbing.
I can't wait to make this myself! It looks delicious. Go Grillin and Chilling with Coleman!!

It’s not about feeding your friends, it’s about the bbq you made along the way
I think it's about both, my friend.
Man that is a sweet kitchen. Of all the meat on grill I have to say baby back racks are the best. Sweet charred pork with rub and sweet rays sauce. Man you can't beat it. I hand apply the rays sauce and work it into the meat like a stain on wood.
Thank you my friend. I love cooking in the G&C kitchen. Thanks for watching.

Excellent video!! I have used your tips plenty in my gas grill and we tried this exact recipe with Maple syrup but it was a tad on the sweet side (for us). Second go round we moved to melting 1/2 stick butter, brown sugar, and a couple tablespoons of honey instead and spread some on either side before the foil step and brought the sweetness down some but still sooo good. If you like them sweet by all means do that but we're happy and I have to give kudos to the one who helped me get it started. Good stuff, Thank you!
I will have to try that next time. Thanks!
Really nice job! Best tutorial for doing this on a gas grill. Using a probe thermometer is key. You'll know that you're in trouble if your water isn't boiling and your chips aren't smoking.
Thank you my friend. I don't usually do ribs on my gas grill, but when I do, this is the way to do it.
Thank you Coleman. This was AMAZING my family loved it on the fourth. Happy fourth by the way, keep it up!

Good job Coleman! Very detailed and sucks when you have technical difficulties for sure!
The sad part....I bought a new RODE mic to record the second half, put it on, and never plugged it into the camera. The second half of the video was recorded with the built in camera mic. I am a FREEKIN GENIUS! Do the Rookie mistakes ever end?

Oh he is going to love that. Great idea. Let me know how they turn out. Thank you for watching.
Tried your recipe today........It was AMAZING.......had to tweak a bit though, I couldn't get baby backs, had medium center cut. They were thicker & meatier but I achieved the same results by marinading them overnight in Allegro sauce & smoked them a bit longer. They were juicy, tender, falling off the bone, finger licking good! Thanks Coleman!
I love to hear things like this!! Thanks for watching and trying it out. Happy 4th my friend.
Hi Coleman, I have scoured UA-cam and this video and recipe is the best I have found. I've got this dialed up for Super Bowl Sunday tomorrow. Planning to spend all day on the patio looking after the ribs--in the snow! Thank you for tremendous recipe and explanation.
That is a HUGE compliment my friend. I truly appreciate that. Enjoy the game and please let me know how they turn out.
@@GrillinandChillinwithColeman That is in the plan my man! Got a fire going in the outdoor fire pit and letting the ribs come to room temp before I prep. Thank you thank you thank you!
Thank you, Coleman! My fiance and I made ribs on our small Weber gas grill over the July 4th weekend and used many of your tips. The ribs turned out AMAZING. We really liked your ideas of using mustard as a binder; using brown sugar in the boat; and adding a water pan to keep up the moisture. We had to closely monitor our temps on our tiny Weber Q2200 grill (even have to prop open the lid to keep temps at 250 degrees), but the ribs were fall-off-the-bone delicious. Thank you for your enthusiasm and your thoughtful summary at video's end -- we watched your video several times as we began, then used that summary to check in on our steps as we continued. Terrific results - thanks to you!
Patrick, I love hearing stories like this. I am so glad my video was a help to you, my friend. I was thinking of eliminating the summary at the end of my videos but with comments like this, I will keep it. What is next to grill on your Webber?

New to the channel as this is my first time smoking ribs. The tips on this are fantastic and I don't know about anyone else, but I absolutely loved having a recap in the video. After watching the entire video, being able to have that recap brings makes it really easy to refer to as I'm actually at the grill. Fantastic job and exceptionally thoughtful!
Thank you very much, my friend. I know I like it when I am watching other videos and get a recap. But I have to admit it, I took that udea from my Buddy, Malcolm Reed. I do appreciate you watching my videos and commenting.
By the way, how did your ribs turn out?
They are at the tail end of smoking as I am typing. I will let you know as soon as I bite into them!
Ribs came out absolutely delicious. They were tender and fell off the bone for the most part. I made some mistakes here and there, but for being my first time, 10/10.
My type ome diabetes says "no"... but my stomach and eyes say "fu**ing do it!!" 🤣 my qife and i love sweer baby rays, too! Thanks for the video! Got my first geill as a housewarming gift last week and just bought some ribs. Gonna try something like this this weekend 🤘
They are definitely a delicious rib. One thing you might try is to use Monk fruit instead of brown sugar. I have lost 180 pounds since this video, and one thing that has helped with that is I no longer use sugar on anything. I have gone 100% with Monk fruit.

So, We just ate. The ribs flavor was amazing. I must have done something wrong, as the meat stuck to the bone. I use a Wolf Gas BBQ and it was reading 250F but i used a laser temp gun and it was 208 at the bars on the grill so i slightly turned it up to where the gauge read 275 thinking that was enough I did not want to over cook the ribs. This was my first try at this and had so much fun trying it. I will try again to figure out this puzzle. I think I just need more heat. Any tips are appreciated. Any day spent bbqing is a better day than at work.

LOL! I appreciate that, my friend. Thank you for watching.
This is my first time applying my BBQ Wood Smoker Trailer 3-2-1 (3+2+1 = 6hrs), rib recipe on my Weber Spirit 2 gas grill; and your gas grill technique is PERFECT! You're correct on how gas grill temps "fluctuate." It's for this reason that I used my Weber iGrill 3 digital app-connected thermometer; and was able to monitor both the in-direct side of the grill and rib temperatures. Quick Note: I dry-rub seasoned my ribs overnight (frig) and got them to room temperature the following day and cooked them. The end result was a success! Thank you!
Love hearing these success stories my friend. Thank you for watching.

Well Coleman great tutorial video, best out there. So I made 3 slabs today, ribs were from Costco, followed the directions exactly but ribs were not fall off the bone. After 7 hours hard to believe they were still tough.
I have heard of this happening. Are you using a separate temp probe on the grill grates next to the ribs or just the one in the lid? The one in the lid will always show a higher temp than the temp actually is on the “cool” side of your grill. Could be as much as 75-100 degrees. I would also check the temp gauge in the lid fir accuracy. I have a video on my channel that will help with that.
@@GrillinandChillinwithColeman It’s a lid thermometer but I feel it was pretty accurate. The ribs themselves were really meaty, they were cooked and had showed signs of pulling back from the bones but they were just tough.
What I learned was don’t buy the ribs from Costco, while not cheap they always are really meaty and it seems like it’s hard to get them to just fall off the bone.
I'm going to give it a try tomorrow
How did they turn out?
I’ve made these a few times and my family swears they’re the best ribs they have ever eaten and we’ve had a bunch of bbq here in Tennessee
