Today we fished The Race which is situated between Little Gull and Fishers Island east of Orient Point. Also fished Bartlett Reef in Long Island Sound.
After years of boat problems (5), I made it out yesterday. I'm out of Old Saybrook and the river was loaded with bass but I needed porgies for mom ... LOL. I went to North Shore NY near Orient and limited out in 2 hours. Mark your coolers or get a yardstick so you don't have to pull out those flimsy tapes. Enjoy!
