@@stormshadowctf I fish 20 lb test braid, no wind or wind with the current makes perfect. With opposing winds it can get very difficult. All about conditions. When there is some problematic wind, I will pay attention to my scope angle and drop down periodically, at that point it's so fast I don't need to swing when I hit bottom because it slowly scopes into strike zone. Takes some practice.
How does this work? The bucktails follow the sinker as you drift or is the bucktail getting draged by the current facing the sinker as you drift? Looks like an awesome technique!
Great video congrats on pb, I've been following all of you guys. I have the skinner dark matter rods with twin power 4000s, one 7 01 black hole Challenger bank rod with a VS 50. Love the shimanos though got me 38 in striper, big Bluefish, 5 pound fluke ( In Bay), porgy, weak.....time after time
@@LongIslandLethals hey ended up buying the JS jig n bounce dark matter spinning rod in J&H. The specs on the rod in store were completely different than online they matched the casting version. I caught a 22 inch fluke the next day and a keeper sea bass on that rod.
Hi guys. I’m doing a trolling motor project on my boat. Is it possible to share some pictures of your bow mount configuration? It be great to see the mounting set up
You basically get the mount bracket in a good position that doesn't interfere with anchor hatch while having the neck at an angle that will have the head not hanging off the other side of the boat, so it can be secured by one of the stabilizer brackets on the market. If you do not have access to through bolt the mount bracket, then use stainless screw with a marine adhesive on the bracket and screw threads.
"I'm not helping. In fact I don't even like you anymore." HAHA!! Wouldn't have thought of using just a bucktail out at the Race. . ..and only 6 ounces! Great job!!
How does a six oz bucktail not scope in 4mph

Looks like a great time I can’t wait to experience the race one day!!
Crazy fast moving water and big fish
That’s awesome! Can’t wait to experience that. I’ve fished the gut but not a fan
@@Jmg0398 the gut isn't bad when it's a week day with less boats, the race has a much longer stretch so it's never an issue.
@@LongIslandLethals yea man I’ve seen the gut on a busy weekend and it’s ridiculous how many boats at there

Both drift the current, trying to stay off bottom in the strike zone.
Threeway Tangle, saw that in a movie once. These girls kept scissor fighting!
