I think it’s so sick how you didn’t go out of your way to spend all this money on a boat. you always make your videos so that everyone watching can in someway do the same thing. sick video man!

So a word to your sponsors... I'm new to the channel and instantly locked in and have watched many of your videos. I did not realize until just recently that Favorite Fishing rods was a sponsor... I've been in the market for some new rods and have not quite made my mind up, until I found your channel. Now that I know, you helped make my mind up on which rods to get. Looks to me your all set. Lucky you bro. Keep it up! Love the videos love the squad. You guys made me really take this bass fishing serious. Nothing I like more doing on my days off then dangling a GOOGANS bait!
Hello Stephanie. Chefs quick tip of the day. Toast your burger buns. Turns fast food into a gourmet meal. Try it and tell me what you think. All the best you all.
Wow, LFG's got it going on: "If you can catch it, I will cook it"!! Love it man!! I like the energy your whole family brings to your videos (I'm a family guy too) and I have no problems letting my kids watching them. Thanks!!
LFG I love the channel man you make my day so much better.. when you opened up the Yamaha it reminded me of my youth. when I had a small boat and would rip it around on the lake
Love the new job boat bro! I fish from a 12ft v hull and I have put a bilge pump in with switch, lights, and a fish finder. Remember to always run premium in ur 2 stroke to keep it running clean and good! Get yourself a mixer bottle too it makes 2 stroke life much easier. I'd love to see some backwater creek fishing in this thing man for sure!! My favorite vids right there. YOU DA MAN BRAH!!!!
LFG, you should get some angle aluminum long enough to go from those holes in the boat, all the way down to the bottom of the seat, and have them welded onto the seat and the side of the boat to help strengthen that area so the boat doesn't twist/flex there anymore. If you just have the holes welded back the boat will just flex and over time it will rip the hole back open.
Man... You got a blessed life, a blessed family, and a blessed crew of friends. I starting watching you searching for hog hunting videos and as much as I love watching you fish... Hog hunting! Lol... Take the Googan Squad with you.
I have found sometimes with 2 strokes, if you use a different brand of oil, it can change your idle/max carb settings. Just make sure you are fully warmed up before adjusting.
There is nothing like the feeling of cranking the throttle on a tiller handle on a small boat. Something about the shaky instability coupled with the simplicity makes it exhilarating, especially on a new (used) motor and the relief you feel when it actually works!
A strong and independent wife who is a great cook a beautiful healthy daughter a comfortable home and just the right amount of toys man are you blessed!
Another great video. If your daughter is already getting into things now you may need to invest in cabinet locks for the future. She may grow up to be a fantastic outdoors woman. Keep up the great job and keep living your dreams
Gotta say lfg I've only been watching you for a couple of months now but you are quickly becoming one of my favourite guys to watch!!! Love watching your videos
Y'all are so awesome. Bro, for real I look up to you alot man. Thanks for doing what you do and opening up your family life as well. I'm super excited about the future adventures in the new jon boat!! We got creeks with hunting lands for days down here in Waco Tx. Hog creek is a must see for a fishing freak like yourself brother!!!! Hmu sometime
I have the same motor. It’s an 06 yami 25. Always choke it when u start it also turn the throttle to the start position and it’ll start on the 2nd or third pull every time. They are badass motors. I run mine a little richer than 100:1 as told by a certified yamaha mechanic. 75:1 is what I run. Good luck
My first boat was a Landau 1542 MV and it had a similar layout but the casting deck was flush with the side rails and was a little shorter. Also had a 25 on the back and it was a fun boat. Traded down to an Aluma 1448 flat bottom and 15HP Merc but because of the width all the way to the bow I don't feel like I lost anything. Very nice layout on the Lowe though. Some JB weld may fix those cracks if you're trying to keep it cheap. Especially since they're above the water line. Can't wait for more uploads of that thing in action!
LFG is like to see you bring your boat to the southern part of IOWA & there is several good lacks I can put you on & see if you can catch some nice size bass out of & even a few kitty’s also!!
JBWeld will fix those cracks. If the area is still stressed you may have to add some metal to strengthen the sides. Trailer lights never seem to be working on older boats. Looks like they added a red bulb for stop light there over the license. Yep needs some parts. Danged those sandwiches look super good. Didn't you guys get up a creek estuary out there that you couldn't get bass boat thru?
fyi if you mix the oil ratio too high it can slow the fuel flow and make it run lean. Great video. God bless you and your family. Don't forget the how to fishing tips. Love them.
Great video! So much to comment on....love the boat! Fix those holes in the boat! Your dinner looked amazing! I am going to make some fried chicken soon, it has been too long, and I need some in my life right now! :) My brother and sister in law had a baby, and we visited them shortly after he was born. Asked them if they were going to baby-proof the house and move everything up above the reach of their child. "Oh no, we are going to teach our child the meaning of the word NO." We laughed our heads off.......6 months later, everything was put up out of reach!! :P Love watching you guys! Be good! Oh, Emmy-nator! Goes places it shouldn't and gets into everything:P
Would love to see a bank pole/ trot line in a creek video for cats!!!. Love the vids. Been watching you since Texas A&M bass fishing on tv, then watching the big bass battle up to now!!!.
The bulb in your trailer light is burnt out. That's why it's that color. It's a two-way bulb, so one part will/can work when the other part is blown out.
LFG always with making us laugh and coming back for more. Keep the videos coming. I'd like to see you and the entire Googan Squad go fish Grenada Lake in Mississippi for Crappie. That lake holds some giant crappie that I hear they troll for them with crankbaits. I think it would make a great Googan fishing challenge.
I have a 15 foot terry 460cm it's my first boat and I'm pumped to get it running good I only have took it out once since I got it I'm just fixing it up love the video
Tip for the trot lines (even though you might not see this comment): White grapes are some of the the best bait for cheaper than most things and a lot easier to bait and remove. Been using them for years here in SC and I promise they catch fish
That looks great and was a really great deal. However...not sure if this was mentioned yet, but you might consider venting that charging space a little better. Even adding a small PC Case fan or something to get some cooler air circulating around all those charging blocks. Over time, the heat generated from all that charging will degrade the battery life of all your stuff and could potentially be a fire hazard in that hot, dry, wooden cabinet space.
Awesome Jon boat. Welcome to the smaller boating world. You need to get you an electric outboard. I've got a Elco EP-20 for the electric only lakes here in Georgia. Sweet boat!
The bulbs are dual filaments. One is for tail (running) light and the other is your brake/turn light. Save yourself some aggravation and swap the lights out to LED. As far as a name, recognize OSG also and call it the “Fork and Spoon”.
Still say you should consider "slimer". And yeah, I remember that odor of the mixed gas. Really bad when you got a bit of a tail wind and you are trolling. I'm going to HAVE to get out there and get me some fresh fish. These cold temps up here in north Texas sure are discouraging though. Stay warm!
way up a small creek.....as far as you can take it. I have the same size boat with the same motor and I do that all the time and I love it. Nobody around to bother you and I almost always catch loads of fish.
Make sure there is a little extra venting on your charging station. All those chargers & Devices together can raise the temperature in there which could cause them to overheat. No risk of fire, but constantly replacing chargers etc. With out knowing why, can be a pain.
Found an idea on you tube for some bows to hold up your boat cover. 1 and 1/4 or 1 and 1/2 pvc T and the t side is 3/4 or get some reducer to glue a piece of 3/4 pipe frome one side to the other. Cut the T long ways and it will slip over the gunnel. search it out.
LFG, I have a 2000 model Yamaha 25 horse 3 cylinder and it says 100:1 on it and I ran it for years at 50:1. I do get much better fuel consumption at 100:1, well close to it bc 100:1 makes me a little nervous so I always put a splash more oil lol
