HELL YES!!! I’ve been waiting for someone to build one of these!! I’m so keen for this build, I want one so bad!!
1st build or 50th u guys will make this solid as. Excited to watch this series! And I’m sure what u guys do will make a lot of people out there wish they could do this
This is what it looks like when people who don’t know Jeeps…. Work on Jeeps 😂
Did mine and was smooth as! Bit of youtube did the job😅
It is a journey, @MrChippy04. Probably better if you share your knowledge about Jeeps, don't you think? Thanks!
People just dont like working on them because they aren't a Nissan or Toyota that they are familiar with. And its easier to label them as shitboxes than admit you dont know your gear.
Jeeps are exceptionally capable and strong and not all that complex to work on. Most of the Aussie manufactures dont make good suspension for them though. Go American kits and sort the track bar etc locally.
Good on the lads for giving one a crack. I think its a safe bet Reuben will be impressed with it.
No they're not tow rigs, but it will go almost anywhere you point it
Awesome to see! Off the showroom floor wrangler/gladiator would have to be one of if not the most capable 4wd vehicles.
I wouldn’t waste a cent on that 3.6 engine. Spend the money drop and hellcat engine beef up the diffs with some Dana 60/80 axles and that gladiator will go anywhere!
It is a beast. Thanks for watching, Cale!
Reuben is madman 😂 at this point...he will supercharged everything 😂
😂
A bit of friendly advice. Get rid of the factory fenders and bumpers, and get a high clearance stubby bumper and high clearance tube fenders. You’ll gain heaps of travel. I don’t know if you can get them in Australia but in the US I run aluminum tube fenders from a company called Metalcloak. They make strong, quality products that match the natural body lines of the vehicle
Thanks for the info. We appreciate it!
Have to bemore comfy than the JEEP I rode in on ANZAC DAY.
stock gladiator shocks are monotube and actually very good shocks, the optional rubicon shocks are 2.5" fox racing shocks with hydraulic stop so even better. nothing to bag out with either they are top shelf compared to most standard shocks.
jeep are 5 link for better traction and articulation so use upper and lower control arms not radius arms which bind up offroad as well as axle tramp.
Appreciate the advice, mate. Thanks for watching! :)
Also with bigger then 35" tyres you will want HD rod and HD drag link. Teralex does a set that comes with the HD ends
Reuben, yes he will brake something, it's just the way he is👍
😂
Maybe you should get rid of the rubicon and put Rueben-revs on the bonnet 😮😮😮😂😂
Maybe! 😂 Thanks for watching, David!
Reuben, I'm a Jeep guy but have a crush on your 300 Cruiser... But I never see you driving it much. Why don't you drive your 300? I'd appreciate your honest and experienced opinion.
No particular reason, mate. The 300 is excellent. Reuben has a lot of cars he isn't driving much either. Reuben will try his best to take them out for a spin soon. :) Thanks for watching!
I’ve never seen a 2023 rubicon JT that didn’t have the factory high front fenders.
Unfortunately we don’t get the high line fenders in Australia on the Rubicons. We don’t get the factory 33” tyre option either.
i get the GVM upgrade thing but Rubicons come with fox suspension. Why wouldnt you stick with them???
Fox is a good suspension brand but you have to try Dobinsons too. Not only they are well made, their products are also designed, developed and tested in Australia.
@@dirtymuddyweekendsyeah used Dobinsons quite a few times, just seems a bit strange to pay a premium for a product that you’re going to pull out anyway.
You should totally put that Jeep in a give away cause I want to win it 🤙🏼🤣
hmm...😂 it's up to Reuben. Cheers!
Bit late mate, Patriot Campers already did this
Yeah in 2022
They almost did it right. The na 6.4 has glass pistons in the so if one is supercharging one I’d go with the hellcat cause it don’t have the crappy pistons
Not a 2023 mate, you’re just sad you can’t build one of any age 😢
The 2023 Jeep ECU has new architecture compared to the previous models, so any of the 2023 Jeeps have not been able to be tuned or supercharged. We have enlisted the help from quite a few industry experts to make this a possibility and is still on ongoing development to fine tune the vehicle.
There’s something in the ecu that doesn’t like tuning for boost and the v6’s tend to blow up. There’s a reason the more expensive v8 swaps really took over on these in n North America
Yep, it's not recommended to supercharge the V6.
We have custom tuning being done on the Jeep, so far we haven’t seen any issues from boosting the engine.
That's good to know. Fingers crossed you won't get any issues because of it.
@@dirtymuddyweekends from what I’ve seen of others blowing up the tuning is the issue, the stock ecu seems to “relearn” or readjust itself over time and then it blows itself up. With the motors being so high in compression doesn’t help them being a little unforgiving as well.
Did I miss something or where is the supercharger in this video?
Hang on what happened to the factory fox shocks?
Just needs an upgrade
Jeep have stopped fitting them but plenty of people have taken delivery thinking they would get the Fox shocks just as they were advertised with. Jeep have since updated their website removing the Fox shocks from the Rubicon specs.
The factory Fox shocks were absolute rubbish though and nothing like the ones you can buy on the aftermarket.
I'll go rhythm
Far from being the first Supercharged Gladiator in the world, there common in the USA
Why do Australians call trucks cars?, it’s a truck. But that aside nice to finally see a jeep.
Pretty sure this isn’t a 2023….. it has a gpec 2a ECU , late 2022 and 23’s came with gpec5 ecu’s, which can’t be supercharged…….
Didn’t patriot games do one first ?
and the patriot games one is running 40's not 37's. Still, this one will be an interesting build to watch. I have a rubicon gladiator of my own...id love to put portal axles on mine, but they are just way too pricey.

It's not a shock absorber, it's a shock dampener! The spring technically absorb's the shock. The shock actually controls the spring.
Great video otherwise.
Thanks!
Didn't patriot campers do the first supercharged Jeep??

Stick to the Toyota's
We do have Yotas too. :)
World’s first supercharged.. where the supercharged?? Have they no clue about the guys at Epic Adventure who have done many actual engine swaps to create monster Gladiators..?
Please remove the “World’s first..”
It won’t even be world’s tenth..
