Just wanted to say thank you, it's so hard to find in depth reviews for laptops for creatives. Here’s my 2 cents that no one asked for. Review of Leveno Flex 5: Cough. I have a Leveno Ideapad Flex 5. Got it cause everyone and their mother recommends it on the “best tablets for college students” websites. I have had it for about 9 months. I opened it one day as normal and I heard a snap. The hinge had broken and the screen in the bottom left corner came up. Everything was Working fine (so far) but when I bend the pc back to use the tablet part it makes a cracking sound and the screen comes up every time. I’m scared it will break soon. The laptop is made to be a 2 in 1 (laptop and tablet)but it clearly can’t handle it. Atleast the hinges can’t. Looked it up and apparently it is a common problem with leveno products and even if I can fix it, it will just happen again. I will not be buying a leveno again because I was planning on this leasing me years. Honest review because now I have to go buy a new laptop and I’m annoyed. Believe it or not but take it into consideration if you use the tablet part of your laptops a lot.
I wish you had outlined which of these are touchscreen as many are not so not necessarily suitable for digital artists who don't want to have to buy another accessory to then draw with
Ngl currently the Asus Proart 16 seems like the best pick especially considering it’s current price rn but man the fact that it’s oled scares me because then it’s susceptible to burn in and I don’t really want a Mac for a long term portable solution since I’ve watched enough Louis Rossman videos for me to pray that I don’t have to deal with the Apple Genius Bar
Intel 12th gen have pretty much the same performance on battery as it does plugged in. The only problem is that the battery does not last for long. The plug on my samsung galaxy book 2 pro is 60w and my battery is between 60-70wh (dont remember), that means that the battery could be able to deliver similar amounts of voltage as the wall plug.
I was thinking of the price range of 1000-2000 for Graphic design for a Laptop. I want to get a Macbooks Pro but most price range for Apple is out of my budget because if I were to install an abode application it's going to be way expensive. Any recommendation? Also, I'm a student as of currently.
Hi Ben! Great video. I'm currently a full time Graphic Designer and I mostly use illustrator and photoshop for projects, sometimes I may work on very simple YT videos. I'm currently planning to get a Macbook with a budget. Would you recommend - MacBook air M2, with 8 core CPU, 8GB, 256SSD - MacBook air M1, 8GB, 512SSD Could you give me your opinion? Much appreciated 🙏🏻
Im getting the MacBook m1 pros 14inch for college and for programming and also im already in the apple ecosystem with my iPad pro and AirPods and my iPhone so might as well get the MacBook pro 14inch.
I think im going to go for surface pro this year just to draw stuff, once i start doing modeling and special effects next year i'll go for a gaming laptop that has a dedicated gpu and rtx 4000 series will be in laptops by that point.
Can I ask why the xps 15 doesn’t seem to be the model with 4K screen advertised with 100% adobe rgb. It seems like it would be a higher recommende product closer to the asus proart studiobook. Thoughts?
I don't understand why the same specs of proart can't be in a formula with 180 degree hinge at least to easily use pen as an artist I can't really use anything that doesn't have pen and I do gaming too so never these two functions I mean dedicated gpu and pen don't come in one package nicely

@@RafaelKaname if it is of any use I did more research and I’ll go with the MacBook Air M2. It’s better in some aspects than the MBP 13 M2 save the battery (by 2 hours) and cores (which would be barely noticeable). I’ll be using it to make art and I won’t be editing videos or doing 3D so it won’t be running such heavy programs. Lenovo Legion is probably better at handling that + gaming but the battery life doesn’t last as long. Saw some guy say like 5 hours. Hope that helps :)

I am awaiting for a laptop with high TGP 3060 or 3070TI laptop for Data Science and AI Simulation and algorithms for big data visualization. I was thinking of going for Ryzen 6900HX or i7 12th Gen. Budget: 2 lac INR ( or 2400 USD) Should I wait longer for another laptop or go for anything that's around for 2000-2400 USD? Looking for usually 17.3 inch or so for better screen as I am working on large data and visualizations. Small screen makes tough to work on large models What is the minimum configuration to do my tasks at ease? My teacher advised for 32 GB for the Network related works but for the AI and Data Science, 16 GB is seemingly enough. Should I buy somewhat cheaper laptop and build PC for heavy tasks?
I need to go out and move only once or twice a month for work related task. May be 6-8 times a year. So I think 17.3 inches is not a daunting task to carry, yeah it make things heavier but my work flow also easier when I am not able to get hold of large monitor when not in office or home.
