Demond Wilson wasn't interested in glorifying Norman Lear or any other man and that's all that sitting puppet black news man wanted to hear and see and it was obvious and clear as day that he did...He truly didn't want to hear and know about nothing else Demond Wilson was speaking about...

When Wilson said Lear had nothing to do with Sanford and Son, the interviewer could’ve pivoted and asked him what he thought about his one role in All in Family-pulling a gun on Archie. It was a powerful scene in which he and Cleavon Little were smart guys who were robbing homes because of their circumstances not because they were bad guys. Little’s character recognizes that Edith is a pure spirit and returns her jewelry to her before they leave. Did Wilson agree with the sentiments expressed in that scene?
