the bass scale is bigger than a baritone guitar, a baritone guitar can go up to 774 mm and a bass is usually 864 mm (remembering that scale = bridge until nut lenght) so technically the bass is still bigger, BUT les pauls have that HUGE body hence making it dissappear, just to clear that becausa that image haunted me because i have a monster 6 string bass and i could not imagine a guitar being bigger than that haha PS: is there anyway u can give us the scale lenght of that buck guitar? my friend wanna build one
It's 27 inches! Longer than my shortscale bass but def not a full blown monster 6 string! Check out the demo I just posted where in triple tracking with it!

Someone programs the drum tracks , but he plays all of the bass , rhythm and lead parts ( live I believe he just plays mostly the lead parts ) I’ve been having his “Pikes” in very heavy rotation for well over a decade and it’s flat out crazy! 🤪. And I’ve still only heard about 70% of it ! He really covers almost every style you can imagine. He always changes it up and the best part is you never know exactly what it’s gonna sound like. It could be funk bass and guitar or serene and mellow acoustic or a half hour electric Facemelter! Or sometimes many different styles combined. I can’t say enough about how insanely great his skills are, his imagination is endless. He releases about 4 pikes to sometimes 10 of them every week! ( when he isn’t touring) Sometimes I can barely keep up ! He’s a guitar killing machine that don’t stop ! And you ain’t kidding about them crazy ass huntsman spider fingers ! 😄 it’s simply astounding to watch him play in live videos! 😮 I always constantly have new music to listen to and he’s Absolutely Fk’n Awesome!
🪣🎸👑🤟🏻
You’ve probably heard his most popular songs like Soothsayer etc. so Check out some of ( to people that don’t normally listen to Buckethead I mean) lesser known ones I love
_Pike 66
- Leave the Light On ( track 1- it’s awesome dude ! )
_Pike 274- Fourneau Cosmique
_Pike 37 -Hollowed Out (track 6-Trading Post )
_Pike 26 -Worms for the Garden
_Pike 119-Solar Sailcraft
(track 2 -Flying Saucer)
_Pike 51- Claymation Courtyard (track 1) some killer hybrid picking on this! Sounds wicked cool and 🤔I had no idea what the hell he was doing at first to get that sound! 😄
- Disintegration Mirrors ( track 2)
_Pike 123-Scroll of Vegetable
- track 1 - Nest Boxes
_Pike 296 - Ghouls of the Graves ( track 1)
- Star Serpent(track2)
- Glass Mines (track3) These are just a few of the faster /shred style ones I like that most people probably haven’t heard , you’re a very busy dude so here’s some songs that you probably haven’t had time to hear yet , Godamn is he Freakin Faaast 😮 and smooth! I know it’s late and much like me… you’re probably awake doing music stuff! The best things always seem to happen after Midnight 🦇 for me anyways 😄 Happy Listening brother

Adrian Marcelo?
Definitely not
the bass scale is bigger than a baritone guitar, a baritone guitar can go up to 774 mm and a bass is usually 864 mm (remembering that scale = bridge until nut lenght) so technically the bass is still bigger, BUT les pauls have that HUGE body hence making it dissappear, just to clear that becausa that image haunted me because i have a monster 6 string bass and i could not imagine a guitar being bigger than that haha
PS: is there anyway u can give us the scale lenght of that buck guitar? my friend wanna build one
It's 27 inches! Longer than my shortscale bass but def not a full blown monster 6 string! Check out the demo I just posted where in triple tracking with it!
Hahaha dude you have become my work entertainment to get me through the weekends.
I try!
How should it be tuned?
However you want, but its great for low tunings. I keep mine in C standard
Buckethead plays often in standard
Bucket was in the Deli Creeps.
I’d look like Korn playing that thing all hunched over. (My back!)

Release the huntsman spiders, give 'em all lil' Gibson SG Baritones, and send them to Buckethead's next show...to join their eldritch master in burying the audience alive under The Wall of Horrifying Sound.
Then again, that's probably already been featured on one of his video compilations that I haven't seen yet...

When I was about ten I woke up to a huge guy ON MY FACE ..I can still remember feeling it’s legs moving across my face..have you ever screamed silently? I have . Sometimes they are so big that when they run down walls ( and they love to do that ) you can literally hear their legs hitting the wall as they go down..now that’s fucked.

I have tons of weird guitars, but this one takes the cake for that. I do have a Cort effector...Google it
Was that actually Buckehead's guitar, or is that a signature model they came out with?
Thats his signature model, not his actual guitar but that would be rad 🤘🤘🎸🔥

Bucketheads guitars were stolen about when this was made? Is that his actual guitar??? Like it would be aged and have “tan lines” on the white where his arm rested. He toured with a guitar like that. Not accusing anyone of anything, I just know someone sold them on the 2nd hand market. So anyone could have one or them. He posted that he had 10 of his most important guitars in life stolen. One or two were bought by fans that recognized them and then returned them. Would be cool, kind of, if that is/was his actual personal Gibson Les Paul.
