Hi What about UK? Any suggestions for UK residents? From the above link it costs more on postage the actual product. So please any other suggestions on amazon or something ?
I just purchased some Batana Oil and thought I received the real thing. It seemed to pass most of your criteria but it had greenish brown color. Then saw it was made in China. I discarded it and immediately made a purchase from Batana Babe. This video was invaluable. Thank you.
WOW! That doesn't surprise me, especially these days. A lot of business are trying to cut corners and sell many fake products and items. This was great for all your viewers, and thank you for pointing us to the correct website. When you purchase on Amazon in particular, you have to be careful since Amazon does not check all their third-party sellers or independent sellers. Thank you again, Karen.
Ma'am I just what to say "batana" oil can be white or black. There are two kinds. I am from Cameroon and Morocco particularly from the north and we have a palm kernels tree . We have been making and using since before I was born so I know. Matter of fact, my mom just sent me some, some Shea, and black seed from Morocco sent to arrive Monday after a long long struggle and journey 😅😆🥳The real unrefined one the smell may not the pleasant but works. Also for use as moisturizer on babies and adults especially if they have skin issues etc etc.
Karen I can't say thanks enough. My hair is thriving. Took your advice and you are definitely a good hair care professional. My natural hair I had no experience with it. I was putting the shampoo on it instead of my scalp. I was used to going to the salon and now I don't go. And, I wanted to learn how to do it. When I started putting the shampoo on my scalp. Wow, apparently I had build up or closed pours from product usage. Now, it is a whole new ballgame. The amount of growth I've gotten in just a few months is incredible. The texture, my main concern, consistency, is there. It used to change with whatever products I put on it and I've got a regiment now. Thank You!!!!!!
I just recently found out about Batana Oil from Ronald Lopes (Lisa Lopes / LeftEye From TLC). Lisa & her family often visited Honduras before her passing. I'm not surprised there's so many fake products claiming to be real. Especially if it's coming from China. Thanks for the heads up ;-) Going to definitely check this out
I got one from Azure it’s says 100% unrefined but says it’s formulated in Honduras, packaged in Shenzhen which is china. It passes the test but I’m wondering if this is real.
Thank you. I tried this oil from the test you presented seems real. Smells like coffee it passed all the test just the shipping part from china. Does the oil tingle a little? I’ve tried it twice by putting in scalp and hair and washing out. Seems to make my hair softer but I hope it’s true. I have soft hair already but would like to purchase one that’s definitely real.
Thank you so much for this informative video. I purchased some and it arrived today so I found your video to let me know if I have the real batana oil and I do! The company I ordered it from is called “Misch” and the batana oil is the only ingredient

Oh my God. I just got batana oil in the mail yesterday and I read the ingredients and it says seed oil that’s it. Not batana oil at oil. I got duped! Thank you for your video. Very helpful. 😮 the jar says it’s made in China.
So, I ordered a castor oil batana oil for hair growth, and that's what's landed me on this video. It smells right, it's already in a more liquid form, and it absorbed when rubbed in so I'm assuming I've got a real blend 😂 it's just not from Honduras or South America at all so that's why I was a little sketched out about it
When I first open the batana oil it reminded me of roasted coffee beans. Never knew there were so many dupes out there. Its a good thing I made sure mines was unrefined batana oil.

It is not always solid. Watch the video again. In warmer temperatures the Batana Oil is liquid. In cooler temperatures the Batana Oil is solid. Similar to how coconut oil becomes liquid and solid at different temperatures! That’s why she microwaved it to show you that in warmer temperatures the REAL Batana oil melted and became a liquid 💗
Oh wow funny because I already saved this Batana oil site.. been searching around to see what company I feel more confident about and I notice the site u post is the same site I am leaning towards. Thank u!
I have been using Batana oil for over a decade directly from Honduras. It used to be so difficult to get it here in the States. Now everyone is trying to sell it and it’s not even real. I’ve seen the creams and the green ones. Real Batana oil has a burnt or roasted coffee smell. The fake Batana oils smell sickeningly sweet of coffee and is not a real scent. Some are selling palm kernel oil as Batana oil as well.
Yeah i've seen so many people saying it smells like coffee and its infuriating. It should have a smokey odour full stop. The nuts get roasted at very high temps.
I have been using mine and have noticed positive changes after first use! I am confident of its quality because the sole item on the ingredient list is 100% Batana Oil and nothing else.
Its annoying how you get corned off your hard earn money. I got one from a fake website too, it came from china. Thanks for this . Will order from this website now. 🙏👏
Got mine today. There is only one ingredient batana oil(Elaeis Oleifera kernel Oil) and county of origin: Honduras. It did pass melting test, skin test , color is tan, not green but the only thing I'm confused about is smell, for me it smells exactly as raw coconut oil not coffee at all. So i'm confused its real or not. So I decided i'll buy my next one from this website only 😄
Here there! There are 2 main smells to real batana oil. Strong coffee vs a Burnt smell. The burnt smell is from the extraction process. Remember Batana oil is extracted from the nut and the kernels that are left are in the batana. So if its smell like raw coconut - it may or may not as the scent is kinda subjective.
Beautiful educational download as always. Thank you for putting me on game to Batana Oil. I was today years old when I'd heard of it. You are so appreciated!
Thankyou so much, very helpful video. I’ve been struggling to figure out which Batana oils are the real deal. So many fake ones on the market. Much appreciated 🙏💕
Thank you, this was really helpful. My husband bought a jar a brand from. RA Cosmetics. There is no ingredients listed like most have a label, but on the lid it does say, 100% Raw Batana Oil so I'm thinking that's the ingredients list. It did pass the skin test and does smell like burned coffee. I am going to try it out. I will give an update in about a month. Let me know if anyone is already using this brand 😊
I have this brand, been using it for three months now, its texture is like coconut oil, smells like burnt caramel coffee to me. I see results in my hair and skin, yes I use it on my body as well and my mom uses and she was thinning in the crown and her hair is coming back, my hair is stronger, scalp is very moisturized shockingly because I tried several different oils and my scalp will be dry next day or two days later also my skin is so smooth smooth try it on ur feet. I also use hotana batana oil as well. Its a staple for me the rest oils I use as hot oil
Hi does anyone know if “ Raw Actives” is reputable company to order from? Their batana oil is liquid and it says 100% pure & natural from Honduras please
Got mine from them too.. and if we’re talking about the same Botanix company, they have like 21 ingredients listed on the container and the texture is creamy - so it’s definitely not 100% unrefined like they claim
I bought some on Temu and shockingly it is real. It does not sit on the top of the skin and it smells like coffee. One Ingredient, but it burns my head a little.
I got duped by a popular product advertised on social media. Ironically, I found real botana oil on Amazon. The morale of the story, if there’s no ingredients list, don’t buy the product!
Hi! You had a different link up for the batana oil a couple months ago and it was not from Amazon.. can you please share that link again? I’ve ordered it from Amazon before and unfortunately it was not authentic.
I just got mine today from them and then found this video. It is brown, it does absorb in the skin, it does smell coffee-ish,(I said coffee-ish because I'm a coffee drinker so it seems only faintly coffee smelling to me) I don't know 🤷🏿♀️ it does feel buttery... the only ingredient listed is Batana oil. It's supposed to be from Honduras. The issue I had, though, was they misspelled miracle on the packaging. Maybe I'm just being particular, but that definitely caught my attention. I also caught it, says organic and natural ingredients. Now, because they misspelled "miracle," I thought "OK that could mean they just aren't good with grammar" so are they saying they're using more than one ingredient or are they saying the ingredient we're using is both natural and organic? I dunno but I guess we'll see. 🤷🏿♀️
@@twinspirittalker I got mine today from Azure as well. It did pass all the test, but I did notice the writing also. Glad I was not the only one to notice since it states that the packaging is from China, but the batana oil is made in the Honduras. So I'm almost 100% sure that there is a spelling/ grammar issue. I also checked the website to make sure, and if you look at the other products, they do make it clear if there are ingrediants added. And so yes, they also state what the ingredients are on the website as well as the packaging.
Hi What about UK? Any suggestions for UK residents? From the above link it costs more on postage the actual product. So please any other suggestions on amazon or something ?
Actuallt I found the real batana oil on Amazon...I thought it was fake so purchased another, but immediately I noticed the new one looked like a cream, it did not have the nutty coffee smell, it didn't melt and it had many ingredients listed. The Amazon one passed all these test.
My batana past all the tests, but I put it in the microwave for 30 seconds and it didn’t melt, then I put it for another 30 and it melted like yours and dried back to the butter consistency a few seconds later. Do you think mine is good? And how long did you put yours in the microwave for? Thanks,
I am Cameroonian funny enough I came by this video by chance and as we speak, my mom just sent me "Batana" oil from Cameroon, will be getting it Monday. Both the white and dark one. We call it something else tho. I am always so surprised when things we have been using for centuries show up to America and there's so much hype... 😅😅😂😆😆
Thanks for this! I’m a bit confused now, unfortunately I got one already before watching this. It says ingredient is ONLY batana oil, smells like coffee, it absorbs, but it looks tan(not dark brown like you showed) and it did not melt to liquid after heating for one minute! Should I return it or do you think it’s real. I got it from Azure. Thanks in advance for any advice!
i use using minoxidil, but it makes my head so itchy, and i have cats... so i just ordered batan oil, but in liquid form, and its not really dark.. maybe cause its liquid and cold pressed? and i think it smells like popcorn Xd
When I ordered one, I regret it immediately and sent them a message (not her above here) to try to get money back. I did so before they sent it to me. But they did not listen, and now I got it in my mail today. I felt it was fake because it was sent from china, but I did this test on this video on it just to see. It absorbs, but not at first. It melts when I took it in the microwave, but not as well as on your video I feel. It became liquid. The box only says Batana oil, and No other ingredients. It has a coffee sent, but I think it can easily be added a sent as well. The texture is creamy and not like butterish. Color is green. So I feel it is fake, but I dont know. Will order the real thing when I can.
I ordered SPOILD botana oil from Amazon and it came completely separated. Is that normal or did it go bad and I should return it? It's an oily mess. lol TIA
Hey there! No, palm oil and batana oil are NOT that same. In a nutshell, palm oil is derived from the fruit of the palm tree found in Asia, Africa and South Africa; and batana oil is derived from the nuts of the American palm tree in regions like Honduras. For haircare, batana oil is primarily used in hair and skin care products. Palm oil is used primarily in cooking and for cosmetic reasons in well. There benefits differ significantly. I suggest this batana oil which is authentic: batanababe.com/?ref=KARENFLOWERS

my oil is a brown color with a bit less solid texture but i tried rubbing it on the skin and it absorbed and i tried on my head and it burnt the scalp. theese are the ingredients elaeis guineensis(palm) , kernel oil(batana oil) , water, tocopherol, coffea arabica, leaf/seed extrakt, sericin, citric acid. and its made in china. its not like the one you showed in either consistency or color mine is a lil bit darker than yours i dont know if its fake or not tbh.
I just received my batana oil on the label under ingredients it says batana oil in parenthesis it saysElias Oleifeere Kemal Oil. I ordered off the batanix website
You could do the melt test in your palm as just the wormth of your palms melts it quickly. Just started using it so am giving it a few months to see results.

I bought batana oil off Amazon but now I’m not sure if it’s real or not ingredient list only puts banana oil and Honduras as the country of origin it passes two of the test you did in the video but the color is a dark green
HI Jennifer! I wouldn't recommend for infants, toddlers, or young children under 4 or 5. And I wouldn't recommend that you use the 'oil the scalp' , but can be used on the hair.
@jenniferanimi5040 You are very welcome! I think that's a good age to apply the oil to the hair. Many times the scalp doesn't need oil as it naturally produces sebum, and applying too much oil can disrupt the natural scalp microbiome or ph. So stick to the hair.

Now, because they misspelled "miracle," I thought "OK that could mean they just aren't good with grammar" so are they saying they're using more than one ingredient or are they saying the ingredient we're using is both natural and organic? I dunno but I guess we'll see. 🤷🏿♀️
I purchased mine from Azure also. It doesn’t really have a smell but it passed the other tests.
@@lrwhite2102 Azure is real. Look at the Made in Honduras and that ingredient list. I received mine in the mail today after ordering 9/24.
@@twinspirittalker
I got mine today from Azure as well.
Thank you and I've never heard of it.
Hey Sunshine!!! Happy to be the one to introduce you to them 💜
Thank you for confirming for me the one Batana oil I got in Honduras 🇭🇳 is real. This video 💯 on point. 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿

I just came across your page and my batana oil passed all but one test. #2 the skin test and mine is more like a cream, like it was whipped. DANG
If batana oil is like a butter, would it not soften in warmer weather?
Yes...it will soften in warmer weather -- making the hair softer as well.
Hi
What about UK? Any suggestions for UK residents? From the above link it costs more on postage the actual product. So please any other suggestions on amazon or something ?
I got bamboozled about the whole set
I got duped as well. The one I got was a greenish color.
Actuallt I found the real batana oil on Amazon...I thought it was fake so purchased another, but immediately I noticed the new one looked like a cream, it did not have the nutty coffee smell, it didn't melt and it had many ingredients listed. The Amazon one passed all these test.
Fabulous! It’s out there you just gotta hunt for it! Si glad you found a real one 🙌🏾
Could you tell the brand please?
Can you tell the Amazon brand name I searched a lot getting fakes only
Was it Mysense?
My batana past all the tests, but I put it in the microwave for 30 seconds and it didn’t melt, then I put it for another 30 and it melted like yours and dried back to the butter consistency a few seconds later. Do you think mine is good? And how long did you put yours in the microwave for?
Thanks,
I love your style, just beautiful.
Thank you so very much!!
They got me
Hey Leon! You're not alone! Me too - and thousands of others! Here's a link to real batana oil: batanababe.com/?ref=KARENFLOWERS
Mine is real. My high school classmate is from Cameroon and I get my Batana Oil from her. I also get my shea butter from her!
That sounds like the real deal!!
Does she have a website?
I am Cameroonian funny enough I came by this video by chance and as we speak, my mom just sent me "Batana" oil from Cameroon, will be getting it Monday. Both the white and dark one. We call it something else tho. I am always so surprised when things we have been using for centuries show up to America and there's so much hype... 😅😅😂😆😆
@@jaylenny62dDo you have a site where I can purchase it?
New subscriber. Thank you❤️
You are so welcome! 🙌🏾 Welcome to the Curl House Community!
I bought some from Botanix and it’s passed the test you stated but I’m still scared because it was shipped from China. Should I trust it?
Nope. It should not be shipped from china..from what i heard…this is so crazy..im going to go to the link she recommended
Great info...I got a real jar!!!!!!
@@kimberlymosley4151 🙌🏾
Do you leave it in or wash ot out ???
The one you said was fake was the one that melted, though? Right?
@@KDBetter hey there! The one that melted is the REAL batana oil.
How often should you apply it
Thanks for this!
I just purchased before I saw this. I purchased from Botanix . Does anyone know if this authentic. ??
I just got mine today, from there. To me, it passed the "real" test, but I did read that it's not supposed to be made of Kernal oil 🤷🏽♀️
If it is made in China, run. Karen, where do you purchase yours from?
@@KarenofCurlHouse Thank you
@KarenofCurlHouse thank you! I just ordered. 😊
I ordered one from Amazon and it is made from China 😪 i am taking your advice

@@fernandoayala3597 thank you so much! 😊
If you get the raw oil it solidifies when cold and will warm when it comes in to contact with your hands it liquifies at skin temperature
Absolutely! That's makes sense too!
Thank you! 🪶🏹🪮🌎🧬
You are so welcome! 💜
Ho do you ship to Denmark and do i nedbringe pay Duty?
I ordered SPOILD botana oil from Amazon and it came completely separated. Is that normal or did it go bad and I should return it? It's an oily mess. lol TIA
Wonderful information It’s pronounced Bah tah nah not Buh taaanah oil
@@Cityscape622 I got it!!! Thank you!
Thank you😊
You're welcome 😊
I got duped. My Batana Oil did not pass these test at all.
It smells like dates to me.
But it is hard to apply and clean not like regular oil.
I just bought some, its runny oil and gritty.. is that normal? Its cold so i dont understand how its seperating and gritty
I also got duped. Got one for $9.99 & another one for free. Well, thank you for your video
Was it Azure?
Believe or not the Sebi brand was not as effective as another brand.. yes tried it for a month then switched back. 🥺

The ingredients on mine is elaeis guineensis (palm) oil. Im not sure if this the right stuff either?
I have one too. I’d like to get an answer to that

Is there a brand I can order from amazon
I got duped. The company I bought my oil is West Month company’s Batana oil. The oil was green and the texture was creamy. 😢
my oil is a brown color with a bit less solid texture but i tried rubbing it on the skin and it absorbed and i tried on my head and it burnt the scalp. theese are the ingredients
elaeis guineensis(palm) , kernel oil(batana oil) , water, tocopherol, coffea arabica, leaf/seed extrakt, sericin, citric acid. and its made in china. its not like the one you showed in either consistency or color mine is a lil bit darker than yours i dont know if its fake or not tbh.
I just received mine and it was full of other stuff it’s fake but I did just order mine through the link

I just received my batana oil on the label under ingredients it says batana oil in parenthesis it saysElias Oleifeere Kemal Oil. I ordered off the batanix website
what about the company Azure? They say they are a black owned company.
Does anyone have result testimonials ?
Yup i had a fake version, i had a feeling it just look weird and fake
You could do the melt test in your palm as just the wormth of your palms melts it quickly. Just started using it so am giving it a few months to see results.
Yes you can! I was just being extra! LOL!! 😂.
Hi does anyone know if “ Raw Actives” is reputable company to order from? Their batana oil is liquid and it says 100% pure & natural from Honduras please
It’s on Amazon
I bought batana oil off Amazon but now I’m not sure if it’s real or not ingredient list only puts banana oil and Honduras as the country of origin it passes two of the test you did in the video but the color is a dark green
Where’s the link to buy?
Hello! Here you go: batanababe.com/?ref=KARENFLOWERS
Please is this good fro children too ?
HI Jennifer! I wouldn't recommend for infants, toddlers, or young children under 4 or 5. And I wouldn't recommend that you use the 'oil the scalp' , but can be used on the hair.
@KarenofCurlHouse OK , my kids are 6 and 7 so I guess I will only apply on the hair? Thank you.
@jenniferanimi5040 You are very welcome! I think that's a good age to apply the oil to the hair. Many times the scalp doesn't need oil as it naturally produces sebum, and applying too much oil can disrupt the natural scalp microbiome or ph. So stick to the hair.
