I've been hearing about this Batana oil for months now and only realized this week that it is palm kernel. I live in Ghana and the oil is used to cook with and also for skin and hair. I have seven of the palm tree on my property. It's mostly used by the people in the villages.

Thanks for doing a review on Batana oil. I recall asking about it a short while back on your live (KizzyKoils) I have been using it for about two month. I mixed the Jar version of batana oil into my deep conditioner along with raw honey and heated it up for 20 seconds. Amazing slip. Batana is must for me right now.

My favorite oil is olive oil. My Mom used it on me when I was young & I stopped once I started experimenting, but I went back to it. Its my fav. As a fine hair woman, it helps my hair grow & assists in length retention.
As far as hair store products, I love mielle rosemary mint, & wild growth oil.

I have medium density hair, low porosity hair with fine strands. And, I too use pure Olive Oil and Mielle Rosemary Mint. I also use Jojoba Oil sometimes. Heavy oils, creams and butters are just too heavy for my hair and since Im low porosity, the heavier items dont penetrate as well, unless I use some heat, which I try to avoid. And, yes, Ive had long, healthy hair my entire life. My mother took good care of my hair and didnt use heavy things on my hair. I remember using Olive Oil and and a cream called DuSharm interchangeably on my hair when I was a girl.

I have fractionated coconut oil, avocado oil, grapeseed oil, black seed oil, sweet almond oil infused with rosemary, batana oil, palmarosa oil, rose oil, vanilla oil, white tea oil, peppermint oil, and tea tree oil. I have made several different blends for my hair for various things (scalp care, heat protection, and a one for heavier moisture before the shower on wash days). I ALWAYS put the batana oil in my mixes and the palmarosa oil. I have the vanilla and white tea oil for fragrance and it makes my hair smell amazing, as well as also having benefits for the hair. Can you do a video about how to make your own oil blends and what you can use for fragrance that will still be good for your hair? I'm tired of talking to ChatGPT about it 😂 😂
Edit: Can you also do a video on the difference between fractionated oils and their original form? I see so many people just refusing to use coconut oil at all, and they obviously don't know about the fractionated form and that it gives all of the benefits with none of the drawback.

Hi, i recently purchased the Batana oil in the tub, but I have yet to try it. I haven't purchased it as a trend, I honestly came across this oil by chance and had no idea it was a thing; to the point of becoming a trend oil!
I was interested in buying the liquid oil in the bottle but felt a little concerned having seen so many negative reviews about one particular brand being sold on Amazon. The most negative comments came from people who said that the oil was very watery and had very little resemblance to oil! A few felt it was just fake. Can you recommend a good brand of Batana oil to tryr?
