    I got my hands the new mini slider from Ifootage - Must admit im quite impressed with this piece of gear.
    I like to have my gear as compact as possible, but with maximum creative output. This is easy to set up, intuitive and helps me make much better content.
    Considering im a beginner filmmaker, I sell stock videos which gives me an excuse to film everything, really using all my gear at the same time as im building my stock footage portfolio.
    With this slider, I can make so much more to add to my portfolios with the sliding and panning motions in both timelapses and footage.
    Cant wait to make more with this!
    Are you getting a slider like this, let me know. And if you have any questions, ask them in the comments, and ill get back to you.
    Cheers for watching!

      @@DanielBryn I have heard that for macro it is not quite recommended, although I have also seem pretty good close shots. The main purpose is to record wristwatch B-Roll takes, since I only have right now a turning plate and I would like move movement in my videos. I am just starting to add these type of B-roll takes, I got very bored of seeing just hands holding a watch in my videos, as many also do in this segment. Hope they will be on time with May deliveries! regards

    • @DanielBryn
      @DanielBryn  3 роки тому +1

      @@ElGuardianDelTiempo Yep - it isnt designed for that, but you can still do it by "guiding" the sliding movement with your hand to avoid any jitters. Also remember to balance the camera on the tripod you are using. The ifootage instructions video shows you how. Takes a bit of practice and getting to know to find the sweetspot for filming closeups and macros, but I have no problem with it

    • @DanielBryn
      @DanielBryn  3 роки тому

      Hey Sky Makai, did you tighten the tracks before operating? That can make it unstable. If you do makro shots, it can get a little shaky at the ends. That said, ifootage says in their instructional video it isnt for makro. Still I do a lot of makro with it, and its fine when you find the sweetspot of tracklenght and speed. On subjects further away I have no problems. Cheers!

    • @DanielBryn
      @DanielBryn  3 роки тому

      Mister Please - like the nick! I wouldnt say a lot. It depends on the lens, and how well balanced the head is. I got a video head after i made this video, and it is better now. There seems to be a sweet spot between how fast and how far ypu set the travel length. But it does jitter slightly at the start and end.
