I love the video. If I were living there, I'd definitely want a window in the loft, and possibly one more next to the deck doors. Windows give you ventilation, which is useful in a small space, and it also saves you money on the air conditioner.

For the first time doing this, it looks good. I think I would have a rail across the upstairs. A plain 2x4 stained like your steps or an industrial black pipe. Both can be removable.

Great work! Be sure to prime those spots where the dark stain splashed on the wall before you repaint. Use a sealing primer like Kilz,so the spots don't bleed back through. Then paint, and nobody but us will ever know.

It might! The reason I chose wood was because if I ever had to move it, sheet rock doesn’t transport well
and i want a work/ chill shed

So let me ask you. did you permit this? I just built a 12' X 16 ' workshop in my backyard. I wasted my whole summer trying to get my build permitted. the city kept moving the goal post on me. I finally withdrew my application and just built the #@^& thing.
I did not. The shed was there when I moved in and if I have to get rid of it I should atleast be able to sell it for my money back
How has this turned out?
Great! I’ve been living in it for over a year now and was able to rent out the rest of the house to my other friends allowing me to not pay a mortgage. Just bought my second house last week as a result!
Can you give an estimate on how much money was spent on everything?
I’d say roughly $4000 not including the cost of the shed

The bad thing about these spiral staircases, if you miss a step with the wrong foot you are hurt.
Hasn’t happened yet fortunately! It’s been working fine so far. It’s more of a ladder though
