Yoga for Men | Episode 6

- In this vinyasa flow yoga for men vinyasa class we will work on hip strength and mobility, upper body strength and core to round everything nicely up. All you need is a mat and if you have two blocks and then you're good to go to follow-along. You will be connecting breath to movement as you flow through this sequence and hopefully connect to that state within which is pure peace, stillness and focus.

This is my favorite of the series so far! I've been doing your program for almost 7 weeks now, starting with Embark. You and Bre made me fall in love with Yoga and I've been doing your videos every day ever since. I'm stronger both mentally and physically, even more so than when I was a college athlete. But when I started your Ignite program I did it twice because it was so though for me :D I do your practices since 3 month now and I feel so much better. I can move more and have less pain. This was exactly what I needed this morning. I also really appreciate the constant reminder to “pull in your lower belly” 🙏🏻. I have a pretty prominent anterior pelvic tilt, and so I feel as though my belly is always extending forward. Jedesmal herausfordernd und gut. Für mich sind besonders die 'core-engaged' Übungen wichtig-da am Schwächsten- sowie das Gleichgewicht halten (was sicher meist mit dem Core zusammenhängt). Aber es wird jeden Tag besser, meine Haltung und überhaupt das gesamte Körpergefühl. Danke für diese Videos, Ihr macht einen echten, positiven Unterschied in meinem Leben.

I’ve been recommended to do yoga ever since I got into vigorous training with running. I ignored it then got injured. It’s almost been two years and I’m still recovering but I started incorporating yoga into my routine. My foot has been doing much better ever since and this is one of my favorite videos. Being stubborn cost me but I’ve learned from it. Definitely doing this from here on out 😌

So grateful..
I almost gave up during day 5 cause my hands were feeling the pain.. but am glad I practiced some self love discipline and continued with this today.. it went by like a breeze (minus the pistol squat and half moon).

I had a big old breakthrough today about the breathing. Ive been practicing nose breathing + soft abdominal breathing the last few days and also during lifting weights. Today I did some of this practice for my rest day as I often do and I was amazed to find how much easier it is when I keep the breath soft for the whole time. Usually I would be gasping and taking breaks after a short time, today I had nearly no issues following the whole routine.
