Yup it's decided, if my vg33e craps out one day in my 03 Canada spec d22 frontier, I'm definitely putting a cr yd25ddti in place, with a manual box of course. I always knew there was something about this engine's design that lent more potential to it in light mod form than the stock numbers suggest
Insane seeing these engines do this, nice man. My YD25 on my D40 will boost 15-17 psi (topping at around 22psi) and as soon as I go above 3k rpm it dies down to 9 psi or lower. Everything is stock though and I don't have a solid/silicon hot pipe yet, so I try to keep the rpm's no more than 3k if I can. Can't wait to at least get the solid hot pipe, I've heard it eliminates the psi drop.
@@yd2532 I replaced the scv on this two weeks ago and returned it... last night I was told told the truck went back into like mode ... Same code has returned . Intake is now quite oily as well . What do you suggest ?
@@nategmaycock9398 if it's going into limp mode and you need to turn it on and off to fix it it can be the fuel pressure relief valve. Try accelerate hard and see if it's does it.
Is this Navi the petrol variant? Seems like pretty hard acceleration for a diesel, however single cab tray back insane turbo upgrade. Can I get the same performance out of my diesel variant?
Man I’m still having this issue, pull 1st through to 3rd fine, but after a long pull in 4th or 5th that car hits like a wall? It doesn’t shudder or die or drop rpm it just loses all acceleration nearly?? Let off the throttle for a second and can get straight back onto it and it’ll keep pulling for like 5-10 seconds and then does it again? Almost like a fuel flow thing?? Rail pressure drops too?? Any suggestions

Usually scv and fuel pressure relief valve are the only common issues on the fuel system we have parts for both.

Hi mate, i was wondering something. I noticed you used the D22 yd25 pump, do you know it the 140KW D40 stock pump(with longer SCV) has more capacity?
@@manubanshee not sure. I'm still using the OEM short body scv even tho I've put a stroker Shaft in the pump

How the engine internals hold up to this power? I changed bearings in my 2003 98kw yd25 at about 250kkm and they were totally shot with stock power.
@@juutuubsillu1021 bearings arnt an issue on the euro 4 onwards engines as long as they are serviced

@@yd2532 no I haven’t, I should add that it has been remapped, +30 nozzles, 3” straight through system, intercooler
@@maxdabator Mabey ask your tuner if it's ok to do the reset before you do it. We have a piggy back ecu so I know it's ok for our car
@@yd2532 tuner has suggested to fit a 12v lift pump, and he believes it’s a pump supply issue
@@maxdabator has it got a clean fuel filter? We made 300hp with no lift pump on stock fuel pump and plus 30s

@@michaelburke1439 I think +50 is the next size up. You won't need bigger stock d40 injectors are what we use
