Super helpful no matter what. Always will appreciate you guys. You really care about your customers and you’re showing people how reliable these d40’s really are. Keep it up!

Hi Daniel, my D40 is consuming 15,5 liter per 100 km in city. is it normal? Turbo rebuilded, timing chain replaced and injectors rebuilded nearly times. Thank you.
I just bought a 2012 D22 dual cab 4x4 with 250,000km on it Wondering if I should spend the extra $6K to get all this done for peace of mind This is a truck I plan to use on trips a couple times a year
@@yd2532 Do they also suffer timing chain issues with the yd25 turbo diesel? The previous owner had it regularly serviced There is a sound that goes away when you get into about two thirds on the accelerator pedal and then comes back around 3000 RPM
Hey man I’m interested in building my yd25 in my nav to 200hp just wondering engine wise what I’d have to do it’s a 2013 d22 with 156xxx it’s already got 3inch exhaust staino snorkel and airbox and front mount cooler besides that engine is stock
As long as the engine has OEM bolts. D40 hi high flow turbo and manifold, Intercooler, plus 30 Injectors. I'll have some videos of this setup in the next couple of weeks
Hey bro I live in nz and want to buy parts from you is this possible at all please let me know thank you n awesome content bro I love watching your videos
Well, we are in the other side of the world, to be exact in Mexico. Follow your videos since we spend a lot of money trusting Mexican mechanic shops with no experience in YD25 engines...😭😭 This is the 2nd time we have an issue with the truck and again started with timing chain problems. Since we are fixing it ourselves, we'll make sure this time only original parts are used , hoping that the head gasket job that the last shop did was well done. Taking things apart we found that the injection pump has a LEAK, like in the front face where the shaft comes out,,, IS THERE A FIX TO IT that you can suggest?? We will appreciate your help. Thanks.

A really great trainer and seem to know what you are doing like you would know the back of your hand
Is there a video on howto r emove the pump ?? Thanks
i think its similar to TD42 Patrol how does oil not get inside the alternator via the shaft?
Good job
Make it a really nice and helpful video.
hi, could you tell me what size is the bearing for the vacuum pump?
Saben si es normal que ese motor humeé por el tapón de aceite cuando esta caliente
Is this bearing replacement at certain amount of kilometers OR when it fails or is there a good time, as for preventative maintenance?
Its not super common to have issues if it does its usually over 300 000km
You should do it if you’re doing chains
Great, but how do you remove?
