I'f you're gonna get a bolt on turbo make sure you get something that uses genuine bearings. Gcg has standard and high flow options

Why did u just use some cheap rods and pistons like scat or eagle ? Would have made the engine a lot stronger for not much extra money ?
No one makes after market rods for them. Next engine we will have custom rods made and a girdle. Diesel cast pistons are strong compared to petrol cars and are better for longevity
I own a 2014 D22 YD25 with 65,000kms. Its currently running a 3 inch exhaust, egr delete, booste tee running 18psi and it's been dynotuned - it's making 145rwhp and 360nms at the wheels. I'm wanting to push the power up to 200-220 rwhp. Considering a GCG TDX 14411 turbo along with a core flowed intercooler through ARE, a heavy duty clutch and potentially plus 30 injector nozzles. what are your thought's on doing these mods with a low k vehicle with out a double row timing chain upgrade or the ARP head upgrade. Also would you recommend a different way to go about getting to this power level. Thanks
Ye you'll be safe running that. I've seen stock engine d40s running a little over 30psi and making 260whp
In the next couple videos we are gonna be testing a custom gcg turbo on a d40 aiming for around 250hp

What benefits do the 4jj1 fuel pumps have over the vp44 pumps? I am currently waying up putting a qd32 in my ute as uposed to keeping the yd25
I reckon it's because you can get stroker 4j pumps but not yd25, not too sure

Just had to change a couple of the fitting on the pump
so this one doesnt have the balance shafts

How much moding did you have to do to the fuel pump and do you have to change the injectors after the pump change?
fuel pump just had to change fuel line fittings, the tuner is gonna decide the injectors but will talk about them in a future video
i got 40,000kms out of my Duplex kit. Scrapped the bucket of shit.
I have customers with 500 000km on our duplex kit. Nissan designed them with double row chains and only started having issues when they switched to single row.
@@yd2532 how many heads have they been through in that time? They’re only good for 100,000
@@ragebait988 the d40s are common to do heads but that's because the EGR pipe, heater hose plastic fittings, radiator top tank, oil cooler hoses break then they loose coolant and over heat. We have made parts to fix these issues.
